Hi! I’m Xiaoyu, a UCSD student with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I grew up around dogs and truly enjoy spending time with them. I live in a clean, spacious two-bedroom apartment at Vive Luxe, with great walking areas and a nearby dog park. Dogs stay in a comfortable home environment — no cages — and are treated like part of the family. I have a flexible schedule and spend plenty of time at home, so your dog will receive lots of attention, supervision, and companionship. I’m patient, responsible, and happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, and any special care instructions. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Xiaoyu and his partner were great sitters for Koda! They consistently sent photos and videos of our pup everyday! They also stuck to his schedule and made sure he had his same routine! Koda was a very happy pup when he got home and seemed very happy while he was in their care! I highly recommend Xiaoyu for anyone who wants a loving and caring sitter for their pup!
Xiaoyu and his partner took great care of my dog Coco during the 2 weeks of stay and Coco seems to like them a lot! They had experience of keeping dog in the past so I was very assured they could take good care of Coco. They were able to send me text and video updates from time to time and are also very flexible with meetup time. I highly recommend Xiaoyu!!
I am his friend and have known him for many years. I know he is an extremely patient person who truly loves dogs. I once left my dog, Yomi, in his care while I was traveling. During that time, he took great care of Yomi and treated her like his own. When I returned, it was clear that Yomi was happy, healthy, and very well cared for. What impressed me most was how attached they became — when it was time to say goodbye, both of them were clearly reluctant to part. That alone says a lot about the care and attention he provides. I genuinely believe he would be an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, loving, and responsible dog sitter.

Schedule
I have a flexible daily routine that allows me to spend plenty of time at home caring for pets. I’m able to provide regular attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day to make sure dogs feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for during their stay.

I provide a calm, clean, and safe indoor environment where pets are always supervised. My community is very dog-friendly, with plenty of safe areas for walks and fresh air. Inside the home, dogs have comfortable spaces to rest and relax, and I carefully follow all pet parents’ instructions to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
A typical day
First of all, we have a very beautiful dog park in our area. I can take your dog to play with them or run freely since I have all day free.(If you want me to do that, if you don’t want your dog play with other dogs I will not do that!) I enjoy spending quality time with pets through gentle play, companionship, and calm interaction. I like to follow each dog’s routine and preferences, including walks, indoor play, and cuddle time if they enjoy it. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
