I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood with multiple parks and hiking trails within just a mile of my apartment. I have plenty of toys to keep the pups busy or if they prefer some alone time they can lay down under my desk. I am very comfortable handling even very large breeds no matter how rowdy or stubborn and have experience caring for ‘intact’ dogs and their specific quirks and needs

I have basic veterinary training and have worked with all sorts of dogs with different medical, physical, and mental needs. From administering medicine to ensuring the dog is kept in a safe environment catered to their specific needs. If your dog is NOT NEUTERED let me know ahead of time so I can ensure I take proper precautions and supervise their interactions with other dogs very carefully. If your dog is aggressive I am willing to take them if you agree to meet me in person beforehand to show me what precautions need to be taken to ensure everyone’s safety.
A typical day
We have plenty of hiking trails and dog friendly parks around for high energy dogs. For senior or anxious dogs my home is in a very quiet neighborhood if they need a place to relax. I pride myself on designing and making fun, physically and intellectually stimulation puzzles and games for pups of all ages, sizes, and tendencies.

I have owned dogs my entire life. I have formal animal training experience with animals from canines to birds to dolphins. I’ve worked with animals big and small, domestic and exotic, so whatever needs your fur baby might have, I got you covered!

Jake was great! I had no worries leaving my puppy with him.
Jake took the time to learn about our dog to make sure she was comfortable and had what she needed during her time with him. He was responsive and accommodating and most of all, our dog loved him and felt safe with him. We would definitely book with Jake again!
Jake was great with Philly! He was very attentive and communicated with me regularly to make sure he was doing all he could to make sure Philly was comfortable. I highly recommend Jake and will definitely use him again in the future.
