I also had another puppy who lived for just under a year, who passed during a routine anesthesia procedure, which was devastating, but now I know she lives on in my puppy Chloe. I am disabled (chronic lower back pain) but i have mobility aids, can walk around your home/my home unaided, can carry small dogs if requested, and can take your pup out as many times as you’d like. I have a HUGE backyard with plenty of grass, and so I can play with the pups/be outside with them as much as you’d like! Currently in the house here I have Stevie and Chloe, but they can be crated/in a separate part of the house as much as you’d like. I will have one of my parents home so they can keep them 100% completely out of sight if that’s your preference! I’m looking to become a dogsitter because, honestly, dogs are my favorite, and i love connecting with dogs with positive reinforcement and love! I’ll follow whatever routine your pup already knows, and when we’re walking, my phone stays in my pocket so your dog has my full attention. I always keep the leash secure and lock up before I go. If your dog is reactive, you’re in good hands. I’ve had two reactive dogs of my own, so I know how to stay calm, read the signs, and move them away from triggers before things get to be too much. About: I have special skills in senior care and animals who need special care post surgery. I have about 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all seniors. The first dog I adopted millie was on the older side and as the years gone by I have learned and educated myself on how to properly care for senior dogs, and the most important thing I have learned is patience is key. My oldest dog millie also had multiple surgeries due to cancerous tumor that spread. Thankfully she is fine but after many surgeries I have learned the skills on how to properly take care of dogs post surgery. I am available from beginning of june-end of september. I will also be working a job that are about 5.30 hours each shift 4 days a week.
