Hi! I'm Alexis! 😊 I'm a nursing student with a huge heart for both people and animals. There has never been a time in my life in which I haven’t owned a dog! I have volunteered for two years at Helen Woodward Animal Center walking and caring for shelter dogs, and I genuinely love spending my free time with animals! If you trust me with your pup, you can count on lots of love, playtime, belly rubs, and plenty of updates along the way (because I know I'd want lots of pictures if someone was watching my dog!). My goal is to always make your pet feel loved, and right at home while you're away. I've honestly never known life without a pet! My family got our dachshund when my mom was pregnant with me, so he was my best friend for 19 amazing years ❤️ Now I have my sweet (and very energetic!) puppy, Zuzu, so I understand everything from potty training and puppy zoomies to caring for senior dogs with a little extra patience and love. Growing up, I also volunteered every weekend for two years at Helen Woodward Animal Center, where I walked and played with shelter dogs of all sizes and personalities. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and not just dogs either! I've also cared for a bearded dragon, a turtle, hermit crabs, and more fish than I can count 😊 One thing that's really important to me is following your routine. I believe every dog is so different, and you are the one that knows your furry friend the best! Whether they love long walks, extra playtime, slow sniffy strolls, or just lots of cuddles, I'll make sure they get the care they're used to. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can know your best friend is having a great time! I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member! 🐾 Fur-real, I've got you covered! 💕

Your pet's safety and happiness are always my top priorities! I'll take the time to learn your pet's routine and any special instructions so I can care for them just the way you do. Whether we're out on a walk or spending time at home, I'll make sure they're well cared for, and getting plenty of love and attention. I'll also send regular photo and message updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands! 🐾💕

Alexis was absolutely fantastic. As a first time Rover user, I was a little nervous, but she immediately put my mind at ease. She took great care of my Shiba Inu, Bob, while following my instructions perfectly. She even noticed a small detail I'd overlooked in my notes, which really speaks to how attentive she is. Most importantly, my dog had an incredible time and was clearly comfortable with her. He genuinely seemed a little disappointed when it was time for her to leave! I would book Alexis again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will care for their dog and home as if they were her own.

Schedule
As a nursing student, my schedule varies throughout the week, but I have plenty of flexibility outside of classes to care for pets. I love spending my free time walking dogs, playing with them, and making sure they get lots of attention and exercise. I'm happy to work with your schedule whenever possible and will always communicate clearly about my availability!
