I recently moved here from Utah, where I volunteered at Best Friend’s Animal Society. This gave me experience in handling dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also received training on several different dog handling related topics, including recognizing when dogs are stressed and what they need in those situations. I completed the training and competencies for both beginner and intermediate level dogs at Best Friend’s. I am an absolute dog lover at heart, from a very young age. Apart from volunteering at Best Friend’s, I would also regularly dog sit for different friends and co-workers.

I certainly recognize that pets are a part of the family, and promise to treat your dogs as if they were my own. I know that it is not easy to trust a stranger to care for your pets, and I do not take that lightly.

Akanksha came to walk our dog on the days we were having some bday celebrations. It was such a big relief to know that my high energy dog was still getting her walks in even if I'm at the amusement park all day or hosting friends all day. You can clearly see that she has a way with dogs and my dog loves her so much. She really takes the time to get to know our dog's personality and work with her at the level my dog requires. Thank you for being an amazing dog walker!
Akanksha was great with Shiloh! I really appreciated that she took the time to do a meet-and-greet walk a couple of days before his scheduled walk so she could get to know him and his routine. She listened carefully to all the details and instructions I gave her about how to walk him and what works best for him. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing she took the time to understand Shiloh before walking him on her own. I would definitely trust her with him again!
We had some plans run late and reached out to Akanksha to see if she would be willing to come in a little under 2 hours to help walk our dog, Cilantro. She was gracious enough to accept the last min booking. Akanksha is so great with our dog. It is clear our dog loves seeing her.
Akanksha was such an attentive dog walker. She really takes the time to get to know our dog's personality. She spent time playing fetch with her and really going above and beyond to keep our dog happy. Akanksha also paid careful attention to our preferences and was very respectful in our home. I would highly recommend Akanksha!

Absolute Gold Standard of Pet Care! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Akanksha is an absolute natural when it comes to pet care, and she did a wonderful job taking care of my dog for three days. She is incredibly kind, patient, responsible, and truly has a gift with animals. My dog absolutely loves her, which really says everything! Throughout her stay, Akanksha gave my dog so much attention, comfort, and genuine care that I felt completely at ease knowing my beloved dog, my baby was in such loving, capable hands. She is a truly amazing dog caregiver who doesn't just watch pets, but treats them like family. I would highly recommend Akanksha to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy, gentle, and completely dependable!

I currently work full time as a RN, but my 12 hour shifts give me flexibility to care for pets on my days off during the week and on weekends.
