“Krista was amazing, she went above and beyond! It was my first time using Rover so I was a little worried about how it would go but she helped me through so much. My dog ended up having stomach problems the day she was going to watch him. She was very understanding and accommodating. She made sure he was comfortable and safe which I am very grateful for. She gave me updates on how he was doing and was able to help ease my nerves. She was efficient and communicative. I’m so grateful for her because it was added work on her end to watch over my dog that day. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and was such an amazing person. I will be a returning customer because of my positive experience with Krista.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned cats and multiple dogs throughout my life and currently have two Boston Terriers of my own. I also help care for my sister’s senior dogs, who require specialized routines and ongoing medical attention, giving me hands-on experience with elderly pets and medication schedules. Whether it’s a leisurely walk for a senior dog or an energetic run, hike, or play session with a young pup, I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Caring for animals is my full-time focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, regular drop-in visits, overnight care in your home, or a last-minute check-in, I’m able to provide dependable care and plenty of attention. With help caring for my own pets at home, I can prioritize my clients and ensure your pets receive the love, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own. My cats are incredibly spoiled and are a huge priority in my life—they have plenty of toys, scratching posts, cozy places to sleep, fresh water at all times, high-quality food, regular veterinary care, and grooming tailored to their individual needs. I even brush their teeth and make sure they receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection every day. When caring for a client’s pet, I bring that same level of dedication and attention to detail. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs playtime, exercise, cuddles, medication, or simply a consistent routine, I strive to provide the same level of care and commitment that I give my own animals every day.
“Kerri was a wonderful sitter for my 2 kitties! She had great communication from start to finish, showed up on time, left a nice update after each visit and sent me lots of cute photos of my furbabies! I felt confident they were in good hands while I was away. I would definitely hire Kerri again.”

About: I’ve actually had all kinds of pets my whole life, dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, hamsters, turtles so I can confidently say I’m attentive to each one’s personality, habits, needs. I’ve welcomed many stray dogs and cats into my home to care for them and feed them and rehome them. I’ve potty/litter trained countless times and I can train them for meal times, to sit or give paw(dogs), to not scratch the couch(cats). In the last 4 years in particular, family members have asked me to pop by and check on and feed their babies. One household has two very loving and hyper dogs ages 2 & 3 yrs old that have a specific diet and meal times. They are potty trained outside so I walk them 2-3x a day depending on the hours I watch them. Second household has one 14 yr old dog and a 2 yr old cat, also with their own diets and meal times. The dog uses pee pads as she’s older and potty trained outside as well. Third household has 7 cats that range from 1 yr old to 7 yrs old. They’re all more free spirited and independent as they look after each other, they all eat at the same time and have indoor and outdoor privileges. I currently have full and open availability. I’d love to gain more experience looking after pets. My cat is very independent and clean, as long as I feed him in the morning and evening and keep his litter box clean, he’s a very good boy. It gives me the confidence to be able to help someone else with their fur babies either for work or trips. I can do from simply check-ins or stay in nights at a time with them. Im super flexible. As of right now, unfortunately I don’t have the proper space to bring others pets in ): but I am more than dependable and respectful to care for furbabies in their own home. Anything from simple and winging it to a list of instructions, your furbaby won’t see me as an intruder, but as their company.
About: I offer reliable, loving dog care with plenty of attention, playtime, and patience. I treat every dog like family and adapt to their energy level, routine, and personality so they feel safe and happy in my care. I carefully follow all owner instructions, including feeding, walks, medications, and special care needs. Whether your dog loves active play or just wants companionship and reassurance, I make sure they’re comfortable, well cared for, and given lots of affection while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a flexible schedule while working on building my own entrepreneurial business. That flexibility allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet and adapt to their routines, whether that means visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I’ve been pet sitting for years for family, friends, and acquaintances, and it’s always been one of my favorite side gigs because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and getting to know their personalities. Since it’s something I’ve done and loved for a long time, I decided to start offering my services to more people in my local community. At this time, I’m only able to offer care in my client’s home, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and adapt to their individual needs. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and routines, and I always make sure fresh water is available. I also provide playtime, affection, and companionship based on what each pet is comfortable with, whether they want lots of cuddles or a little extra personal space. I pay close attention to their behavior and physical condition so I can quickly notice if something seems off, helping ensure they stay safe, healthy, and happy while you’re away.
“Tatiana took great care of my fur babies. She made sure my dog and cat were happy and comfortable while my husband and I were away overnight. My cat is senior and requires medication, she had no problem handling that. Bogie (my dog) looked happy and relaxed when I returned home. I would hire her again!”
About: I’ve been taking care of my little puppy since as long as I can remember. Growing up I have always taken pride in walking and taking care of my dog. Being able to be there for a little animal, brings me as an individual so much happiness. Going on walks to the park or going on hikes is very enjoyable to me and I truly think that I will never get annoyed or tired of doing it. I am currently attending college but my schedule is flexible. I am available Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm, Tuesdays through Thursday from 5pm through 8pm and Saturday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm Usually at home I feed, bathe and walk my pet. I also play with my pet as well as others and just overall spend time with them.
“Cynthia did a great job taking care of our two cats while my wife and I were out of town. She provided detailed updates and pictures of them, and made sure to give them lots of love. Unfortunately, one of our cats had a few accidents while we were gone, but Cynthia was willing to clean them up and did a thorough job. We really appreciated that. She also watered some of our plants for us. Cynthia is trustworthy and we felt safe knowing that she was checking in on our babies. We would definitely ask her to watch them again if we're ever out of town in the future!”

About: I’ve been a pet lover my entire life, and as a proud Bichonpoo mom, I truly understand that our fur babies are our family. My experience spans the whole journey, from the high energy patience needed for puppy training to the gentle, specialized attention required for senior care and medication. I’m here to provide the same level of intuition and heartfelt devotion to your dogs that I’ve given my own pets for years! I work part-time in education, so my hours are from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on weekdays. I am open to drop-in visits and/or dog walking. Whether I’m welcoming a pet into my home or visiting yours, I treat every animal with the same devotion that my husband and I give our own pup. In your home, your pet will enjoy a safe environment where I prioritize comfort, routine, and a warm atmosphere tailored to their specific personality. I like to focus on maintaining the familiarity of their space, ensuring every instruction from precise feeding schedules to play is followed to the letter so they feel secure while you're away.
About: Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Diana and I have lived with cats my whole life and have had the pleasure of taking care of cats sinceI was a child. Caring for these wonderful feline companions is not just a job but a genuine passion of mine. At our cat hotel, we offer a nurturing and cozy environment, tailored to cater to your cat's needs. If you're looking for a place where your beloved feline friend will receive love, attention, and exceptional care, you've found the right spot. Feel free to reach out for more information—I'm here to ensure a delightful and comfortable stay for your cat! I work from home most of the time, so I can check on the cats throughout the day. I usually feed, clean the litter boxes, refresh water, and spend time with them during the day and evening. I may not reply immediately early in the morning, but I always keep an eye on the cats and will send updates once I am available. My home is calm, clean, and cat-friendly. Cats stay indoors in a cage-free space, and I make sure doors and windows are secure. For new or shy cats, I can give them a quiet separate room first so they can adjust slowly. I clean the litter boxes daily, keep fresh water available, and watch for changes in appetite, energy, or litter box habits. I also send photo or video updates so owners can feel comfortable while they are away.

Lynne is my go-to sitter. She takes great care of my kitty and provides her with plenty of love. It is so nice to go away knowing your fur baby is in good hands. I’m sad that I’m leaving the area and hope I find someone half as good to watch my kitty in the future! I highly recommend Lynne, you will not be disappointed.

Gao was an amazing fit for my need(s) for BearBear. Reading her profile was the main reason I selected her. She was very knowledgeable, passionate, and handled BearBear with the care he needed; above and beyond (medicine doses, nail trim, etc.). Her communication, availability and empathy was exactly what I needed. Thank you!

Belinda watched my cat, Bella, for about 3 weeks and she did fantastic! Bella warmed up to her right away. Belinda was great about sending photos and making sure Bella’s food, water, and litter were taken care of. It made me feel much better knowing that there was such a caring person looking after my girl. I’d be happy to book her again.

Carmen is an amazing dog sitter! She came to our home twice a day and took wonderful care of our two dogs. Even our Frenchie, who is usually very skittish around new people, completely fell in love with her. You can tell she truly loves animals — she was patient, caring, and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend Carmen to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and genuinely devoted to pets. Our dogs fell so in love with her that we’re pretty sure they were disappointed when they saw us walk through the door instead of her! 😅 🤣

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
