Hey I’m Tijera! ( tee-air-uh). I’m a new resident in the Chula Vista area and I’m originally from Long Beach. I’m super friendly, social, and absolutely L❤️VE dogs, big to small! As far as my pet experience goes, I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 18 years. My first puppy Hershey, was the love of my life & I through the complete span of his life I learned how to be the best pet parent I could absolutely be for him. I prepared gourmet meals, organic treats and skincare regimens. I truly learned so much & knew that I did all that I could to extend his life until his last day on earth in July 2021. I used my experience in training, dieting, and taking care of my Hershey into loving and caring for my 2nd puppy, a Chow chow/Labrador mix, named Bo. My heart has healed over the years and though I’ll never forget my Hershey, spending time bonding with my boy Bo, my kitty Keiko, and all of the new pets that I’ve come in contact with has made me the perfect candidate to love your pet! All my knowledge, love, and attention will be on any dog or cat under my care All recipients under my care will have access to healthy treats, vitamins, quality playtime, & loads of love! I’m a super communicative sitter, as I value that principle in any relationship. I welcome dogs who pull, (I can train out pulling with just about any dog!) and like to run on strict walking/running schedules, with a minimum distance of 1 mile per 30 min walk time. Tijera does a STELLAR job! I had no worries while I was away and I knew my pet was well taken care of. She does an amazing job with observing my cat making sure he’s happy and safe. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!
Tijera met our babies and they warmed up to her sweet personality. She followed directions to the letter and she also sent me adorable photos. Not everyone will take on the task of administering insulin to a food-motivated cat, but this brave lady did.

Absolutely LOVED Tijera!! She was so great with my dog who is 13! My dog instantly bonded with her and Tijera was extremely loving and caring with her. I would hire Tijera again in a heartbeat! She will absolutely love on your dog like they are her own. :-)
This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have chose a better fit than Tijera! She was very attentive and cared for my boy like he was hers. I’ll definitely be booking with her in the future.
This was my first time going away and not being able to bring my baby with me on this trip so I was a little nervous about the entire process. Tijera made it so easy as she was very easy to work with. She provided feedback on each visit and would let me know each time when she was on her way to see my baby. Not only was she great with communication she was loving and very patient giving that it was our first time using Rover I wasn’t sure how my fur baby would really react. I would definitely recommend this sitter most of all she bonded with my fur baby and she took good care of him and definitely made it easy for both of our anxiety. Moving forward I feel confident using this service and definitely booking Tijera again.
