“Caring for geriatric dogs is never easy, and Lisa along with her son did a nice job over the recent holiday weekend. Although my Snuggles is a sweet pup, she doesn’t always go by the script - and Lisa did a nice job adapting. Snuggles sometimes resists taking her medication and is a bit of a loner, and when in the presence of other dogs and not in her familiar surroundings she becomes anxious and develops the shakes. I think what impressed me most was Lisa’s genuine concern for Snuggles’ care. We remained in constant contact each day with pictures of my little girl. It took a few days but Snuggles seems to have recovered. So while I wouldn’t be able to utilize Lisa’s services in her home again because of her other pet, I would definitely call on Lisa to stay with Snuggles in our home. You can be sure your pet is safe with Lisa and Logan.”

My husband is also home most of the time. I don’t leave my own dog home for more than 4 hours (ever) by himself but also have a doggie door (when I’m home only), and a large home with hard floors for the pups to roam. I have a fenced yard but keep my dog inside when I’m not at home. I’ve got a doggie cam and check in (and talk) to my dog frequently if I have to be gone!

About: Although I have no official skills and training...yet, but I grew up caring for animals. For 18 years I lived on a small farm in Michigan where we raised chickens, rabbits, goats, alpacas, dogs, and cats. These animals were my beloved pets and would get shown at the county fair every summer. Since moving away I have accumulated three cats of my own. About: I love dogs! I have always had dogs. I help walk them, feed them(dry food, wet food, treats). I’ve also given medication for one of my dogs with food! I play with them, give them a lot of love and attention. When my pets were younger, we potty trained them and taught them different skills such as sit, lay down, etc. I am currently a sophomore in college. I have 1 class Monday-Thursday, so my schedule for the most part is pretty open. However, I can do anytime after 8:30 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In my home, I have a grass back yard with a fence from coyotes where my dogs play and lay down in the grass. My cats like to lay in the grass too. About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was young. Ever since I was a teenager I enjoyed walking my family, friends, and neighbors’ dogs. I have experience with dogs of all ages and many different breeds I am available to walk, board, or visit your dog all days of the week. I prefer to be notified at least a day in advance so I can properly schedule and prepare to care for your dog. I have a large backyard with clear space for the dogs to around and play. There is open space in the living room for dogs to relax, with room for dog beds or anything else they arrive with. This space is gated off from the rest of the house for safety. There’s enough room to separate the dogs from one another if they need space.
