“She’s so wonderful! Constantly updates me with how the cats are doing and what she did during the visit. She also includes photos for each visit! Super easy to communicate with and great with our kitties.”

“Jiselle stepped in for a few weeks while our regular walker was unavailable. She was accommodating to our schedule with Chico and was willing to be flexible with the timing of things due to the hot weather. Definitely going to consider her again for future needs! 😊 Thank you Jiselle!”

“This was the first time I had to find a sitter for my babies. It has been difficult especially since my sons are in law enforcement they were very skeptical about having me bring in someone I did not know into my home. I looked through many profiles and found Sylvia. I am extremely surprised on how well Dodger and Nala have been around Sylvia ESPECIALLY DODGER LOL They both have been very comfortable around her and that makes me feel better. Thank you Sylvia”
About: I have owned dogs the majority of my life from big to small. I have had 2 cats in my life for the past 9 years as well. I am very knowledgeable in training and taking care of animals as its a big passion of mine to connect with animals, a long term goal is to become a Marine Biologist! I enjoy spending time with animals and learning more about them. I work part time at Chuze Fitness for about 3-4 days a week. I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week for 2 hours for each session. I enjoy exploring foods a lot and going to the movies! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I feed my dogs and cats twice a day. I usually take my dogs out on an hour walk a day when it’s not too hot for them. I try and take my dogs to the dog park 2-3 times a month for some friendly exposure. My cats are indoor cats so they just play around with their cat tree and sleep as they don’t enjoy being outside.
“Tyler is the best we’ve ever had for our dog and it’s only been two weeks! At his initial meet and greet, you immediately get the sense that he is very passionate and knowledgeable about dog care. If his incredibly high ratings don’t say enough, I’ll tell you from the source that he is the right choice for you!”

About: Hello my name is Ivanna, I’m 33 years old. I have extensive experience caring for dogs and have loved animals since I was a little girl. Caring for dogs has always been something that brings me genuine happiness, and I truly enjoy building strong bonds with them while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have been responsible for the daily care of a Yorkie for the past 7 years, including feeding, grooming, exercise, general care, and accompanying them to veterinary and medical appointments. I also cared for a German Shepherd for 4 years, providing regular walks, feeding, cleaning, exercise, and attentive day-to-day care. I have also cared for an amazing Pug and Husky, and I quickly developed a wonderful bond with all of them. I absolutely adore dogs and take their well-being very seriously. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, giving them attention and affection, and making sure they are clean, well-fed, happy, and safe. To me, dogs are truly family, and I would treat every pet in my care with the same patience, attention, and love that I would give my own. I am currently caring for my two-year-old child and my 7 year old Yorkie, so my availability is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am reliable, committed, and happy to work within these hours. I provide in-home pet care, where I care for dogs in their own homes, including patios and indoor spaces. My responsibilities include taking dogs on walks, feeding them, playing with them, providing companionship and attention, and making sure they are comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I am also comfortable providing baths when needed and administering prescribed oral medications according to the owner’s instructions. I always make sure pets receive the care, patience, and attention they need throughout my visit.
“My pup loves her already and I am excited for future bookings with her! Melissa is punctual & has a sweet / caring presence that speaks to my fur baby who has anxiety and typically takes time to warm up to people! Thank you for the cute pics too, Melissa!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals for 30+ years. My experience runs deep and hands-on. I spent a year working on a farm. Fun fact: I've successfully delivered three litters of puppies — every single one survived and thrived. At home I have two cats and two large senior dogs, all fixed, up to date on their meds, and flea-free. Caring for senior pups every day means I know firsthand how to handle slower walks, medication schedules, achy joints, and the extra patience and gentleness our older companions deserve. What you can count on from me: reliability, genuine love for your animal, and someone who treats your pet like the soul they are. I'll follow your routines to the letter, keep you updated, and make sure your furry family member feels safe and happy while you're away. So whether your pet is a bouncy puppy, a dignified senior, or somewhere in between, I'm calm, confident, and capable in just about any situation. I'd be honored to care for yours. 🐾 Pet care isn't an afterthought for me — it's woven into my daily rhythm. I already care for my own animals every morning and evening, so feeding times, litter scooping, medication schedules, and check-ins are simply part of how my days are built. Adding your pet to that routine feels natural, not like an extra errand. I keep a flexible schedule that lets me be reliably present throughout the day, so I can accommodate everything from quick drop-in visits to longer sessions and consistent walking times. I'm happy to match whatever cadence your pet is used to, whether that's a strict feeding window, mid-day company, or a steady morning-and-evening routine. Most importantly, I show up when I say I will. You'll always know your pet is being cared for on schedule, every time. In my own home, your pet joins a calm, animal-friendly environment with my two cats and two gentle senior dogs — all fixed, vaccinated, on their meds, and flea-free. I keep food, medications, and anything hazardous safely out of reach, maintain clean litter and feeding areas, and can give a nervous or new pet their own quiet space to settle in. If separation is ever needed, I'm comfortable crating or sectioning off rooms so every animal stays safe and stress-free. In your home, I treat your space with the same care I'd want for my own. I follow your instructions exactly — entry, alarm codes, feeding, litter, medication, and lock-up — and I keep doors and gates secured so there's no risk of a pet slipping out. I stay alert to your pet's behavior and comfort, and I'll always reach out right away if anything seems off. Whether at my place or yours, my goal is simple: a safe, clean, loving environment where your pet feels secure and you feel completely at ease. 🐾
About: I've been caring for my own animals as soon as I was big and responsible enough too. I'd say 15-20+yrs. I love meeting new furry friends cause they always remind me about my good soul or spirit. It makes me happy. Cats and dogs gravitate twords all the time. I'd say I do well with teaching how to walk on a leash. I currently take care of my dog and I have 4hens and 1rooster. So it fits right in very well. I'm not working as we speak but I'm looking. I have a rather large front and back yard that raps all the way around the house. I have a small dog her name is Mary Jane. I have two dog kennels if u perfered to keep your dog in a crate.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
