I grew up in a family that always had multiple dogs, and with a veterinarian dad, I learned early how to care for pets with patience, respect, and attention to their needs. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes from my own, plus pets belonging to friends and family. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and keeping dogs on their normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed. It’s a priority for me to let every dog take their time, feel comfortable, and build trust at their own pace. I’m gentle, reliable, and treat every dog like family and ’ll care for your dog with the same attention I give my own.

I know how important trust is, especially with anxious dogs, so I always give pets space and let them warm up at their own pace. I follow routines closely whether that’s with meds, feeding, walks and safety is always my top priority in and outside the home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for our two dogs while we were away on vacation. From the start, Melissa took the time to understand our dogs’ routines and made sure everything stayed consistent, from feeding schedules and walks to playtime and bedtime habits. What impressed us most was how quickly our dogs grew comfortable and trusting Melissa. One of our dogs can be a little skittish at first, but it was clear they felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for the entire time we were gone. We also appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind when we were away. Coming home to two happy, calm dogs confirmed they were in great hands. We highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter!
Melissa has been wonderful! She’s very responsive and constantly kept me updated about my pups with texts, photos and video! Definitely made me feel secure with leaving them with her and I’m very nervous leaving them in general.
Melissa was a great dog sitter and took indie for many adventures and took amazing photos. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter as my little husky can be a handful

I have a little golden retriever who's very sweet and affectionate, but sometimes he wants to play a little too much and becomes uncontrollable😅. But, when I returned home after leaving him with Melissa, I found him peacefully next to her on the couch, probably tired of how much they played; so I can tell he loved spending his day with her!! Recommended! 👍🏻👍🏻

Schedule
I currently work a part-time job in the mornings, so I’m available for pet care most afternoons and full days on certain weekdays. • Thursday - Sunday : available after 1pm • Monday - Wednesday : fully available all day I’m flexible with walk times, check-ins, and longer visits, and I’m happy to discuss a schedule that fits your dog’s routine!!
