“Scout had an awesome experience with Kenia's in-home boarding while I was away. I got daily updates and pics, which really put me at ease, and my dog looked so happy and comfortable the whole time. Came home to a super relaxed pup, couldn’t ask for more! Communication before and during boarding was optimal, highly recommended!”

“Lori is my favorite sitter! She is thoughtful, trustworthy, and overall takes great care of my dogs. She was also communicative about my dogs behavior while they were with her, and she was very patient with one of my dogs misbehaving a little. I can rest easy whenever my dogs are with her!”

“Angela was incredibly responsive and sweet! Definitely the best sitter we’ve ever had. Our two doggos loved being with her, it was such a relief to know that they were getting taken care of so well! She took them on walks often and played with them, my dogs loved her backyard to run around in! Incredibly thankful for such an attentive sitter. Kona and Graham will definitely be back! 💛✨”

About: I have had pets since I was born. I raised small breed dogs (family dogs) when I was younger and went in to raise 2 large breed dogs at my current age. I have trained my dogs since they were puppies and have often received compliments on their behavior. They enjoy time outside, snuggles on the couch, and homemade treats. All of which I’d offer to any dog in my care. I have a spacious home with plenty of room to run around. I am skilled in giving medication to all sizes and ages. My Aussie is not keen on meds so I’ve had to learn ways to get around that. I love all animals and someday hope to have a farm once my husband retires from the Navy. I do not work. My husband is the worker. I’m the homemaker. So I have plenty of time to do drop ins, check ins, etc and will not leave your dog for long periods of time. I have my own car, so I’m able to make it from point A to B without issue. I also have a routine that my own dogs follow, so I’m up everyday by 8am. I have 2 crates already located in my home. I hsve 2 dogs of my own. A female pitbull (Erza) and a male Aussie (Killua). I have a garage that I allow them to run around in for exercise (I’m working on making it into a doggy play room for my dogs, but it’s large so it’d fit up to 8 dogs). I have have 3 Furbo cameras in my home, so on the off chance I have to not be home I am able to view them on camera. I can also send recordings as needed.
“Definitely recommend Chris & Lindsey. This was my 1st time using Rover and I was nervous. They communicated with me frequently throughout the day and kept my mind at ease! If the need arises again I will absolutely book again with them”

“I was nervous to leave Baxter and Gypsy with a new pet sitter, because our pet sitter wasn't available and we've never left them with anyone else. I could tell Shania was going to be great even when we had our meet & greet, because she asked a lot of great questions that let me know she was truly interested in taking care of Baxter and Gypsy. Baxter and Gypsy are very anxious and picky with people, but they ended up LOVING their 9 day stay Shania!!! I couldn't believe how comfortable they were with Shania! They usually don't eat when they're sad/not with us, and they didn't have any problems with eating at all the whole time they were with Shania. Shania constantly updated me with pictures and videos of them going on walks, going potty, sleeping, napping, eating, lounging, and when they had their treats. The updates at all times put me at ease, and I could tell Baxter and Gypsy were loving their stay especially because Gypsy let her rub her belly (she rarely ever lets anyone rub her belly). Shania also treats the dogs she watches like they are part of the family, Baxter and Gypsy did everything with her pup (even slept in her bed with her)! Baxter and Gypsy's favorite part was all the walks she took them on too. She was also easy to work with/flexible when we had a later flight. I really appreciated everything she did for Baxter and Gypsy! Shania is truly amazing, and I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to take care of your pup! I will 100% have her watch Baxter and Gypsy in the future!”
“Christine was amazing! She provided a wonderful, welcoming environment with lots of space for our Thor to wander around. Communication was top notch with daily updates and great pictures sent. Will definitely book with again!”

“Desteny took amazing care of King when I had to go out of town. She sent photos of him every day, and he looked calm and happy in every single one. She was accommodating of his needs, and was willing to give him the same routine and structure that he has at home. I appreciate her willingness to provide boarding for King despite my request being short notice. Will definitely board with her next time!”

“This was my first time using this site to find a sitter. My 14-month-old dog is very cautious and usually takes a long time to adjust to new environments, so I was very worried about how things would go. It was his first experience being cared for by someone outside of our family, which was a big challenge for him—and I’m sure it was also a bit difficult for Lisa. But she kindly accepted, and I was truly grateful. Before the sitting, she even made time for us so that my dog and I could get a little more comfortable with her. Thanks to that, I felt much more at ease on the day. She also sent me photos and videos to share how he was doing, which made me very happy and reassured. After just one day, I could see that he was slowly starting to adjust to the new environment, and it was wonderful to see his growth. I’m really glad I asked Lisa this time. Even if I may have caused her some trouble, she kindly took care of him, and I’m very thankful.”

“Tiffany and her family were excellent! She kept me informed on how my doggie was doing, often sending pictures and videos. She was also flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. She followed care instructions perfectly! Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I look forward to booking with her again!”

About: I've spent my whole life around animals — 30+ years — but over the last decade, cats have completely won me over. Don't tell my dogs, but I secretly love cats most of all. There's something about earning a cat's trust that's just deeply satisfying. Right now my home includes two cats of my own, so I know the rhythm of cat care inside and out: the feeding routines, the litter box standards, the medication schedules, and most importantly, reading the difference between "leave me alone" and "okay, fine, you may pet me now." I respect that cats run on their own terms, and I never force interaction — I let your cat set the pace, which is exactly why they tend to warm up to me surprisingly quickly. With 30+ years of hands-on animal experience, very little fazes me. I'm calm, attentive, and genuinely happy spending time with your cat, whether that's an interactive play session, a quiet check-in, or just sitting nearby so they don't feel alone. What you can count on: someone reliable who shows up, follows your routine exactly, keeps your home and your cat just as you left them, and sends you updates (and photos!) so you can relax while you're away. Your cat will be in genuinely loving, capable hands. 🐾

“Jiselle stepped in for a few weeks while our regular walker was unavailable. She was accommodating to our schedule with Chico and was willing to be flexible with the timing of things due to the hot weather. Definitely going to consider her again for future needs! 😊 Thank you Jiselle!”

“This was the first time I had to find a sitter for my babies. It has been difficult especially since my sons are in law enforcement they were very skeptical about having me bring in someone I did not know into my home. I looked through many profiles and found Sylvia. I am extremely surprised on how well Dodger and Nala have been around Sylvia ESPECIALLY DODGER LOL They both have been very comfortable around her and that makes me feel better. Thank you Sylvia”
“Jovi went above and beyond trying to get our stubborn cat to participate while we were gone for the week, keeping the house tidy and going the extra mile to keep our baby safe. Thank you Jovi!”

“Elizabeth was the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had! She played with them the whole time, watered my plants and sent the BEST pictures. 5 stars for her amazing “snoot” pictures alone! “Citlalic was an excellant sitter for my cat Bella. She followed my instructions perfectly and I came back to a happy, healthy furbaby. It is rare for sitters to see Bella let alone pet her but Citlalic was able to do both and sent me photos to prove it. I was shocked. Overall Citlalic was great and we would hire her for drop-in visits again and again.”

About: I've been caring for my own animals as soon as I was big and responsible enough too. I'd say 15-20+yrs. I love meeting new furry friends cause they always remind me about my good soul or spirit. It makes me happy. Cats and dogs gravitate twords all the time. I'd say I do well with teaching how to walk on a leash. I currently take care of my dog and I have 4hens and 1rooster. So it fits right in very well. I'm not working as we speak but I'm looking. I have a rather large front and back yard that raps all the way around the house. I have a small dog her name is Mary Jane. I have two dog kennels if u perfered to keep your dog in a crate.
About: I've been surrounded by animals for 30+ years. My experience runs deep and hands-on. I spent a year working on a farm. Fun fact: I've successfully delivered three litters of puppies — every single one survived and thrived. At home I have two cats and two large senior dogs, all fixed, up to date on their meds, and flea-free. Caring for senior pups every day means I know firsthand how to handle slower walks, medication schedules, achy joints, and the extra patience and gentleness our older companions deserve. What you can count on from me: reliability, genuine love for your animal, and someone who treats your pet like the soul they are. I'll follow your routines to the letter, keep you updated, and make sure your furry family member feels safe and happy while you're away. So whether your pet is a bouncy puppy, a dignified senior, or somewhere in between, I'm calm, confident, and capable in just about any situation. I'd be honored to care for yours. 🐾 Pet care isn't an afterthought for me — it's woven into my daily rhythm. I already care for my own animals every morning and evening, so feeding times, litter scooping, medication schedules, and check-ins are simply part of how my days are built. Adding your pet to that routine feels natural, not like an extra errand. I keep a flexible schedule that lets me be reliably present throughout the day, so I can accommodate everything from quick drop-in visits to longer sessions and consistent walking times. I'm happy to match whatever cadence your pet is used to, whether that's a strict feeding window, mid-day company, or a steady morning-and-evening routine. Most importantly, I show up when I say I will. You'll always know your pet is being cared for on schedule, every time. In my own home, your pet joins a calm, animal-friendly environment with my two cats and two gentle senior dogs — all fixed, vaccinated, on their meds, and flea-free. I keep food, medications, and anything hazardous safely out of reach, maintain clean litter and feeding areas, and can give a nervous or new pet their own quiet space to settle in. If separation is ever needed, I'm comfortable crating or sectioning off rooms so every animal stays safe and stress-free. In your home, I treat your space with the same care I'd want for my own. I follow your instructions exactly — entry, alarm codes, feeding, litter, medication, and lock-up — and I keep doors and gates secured so there's no risk of a pet slipping out. I stay alert to your pet's behavior and comfort, and I'll always reach out right away if anything seems off. Whether at my place or yours, my goal is simple: a safe, clean, loving environment where your pet feels secure and you feel completely at ease. 🐾
About: I have had my own dogs as a kid and have been the go-to friend in my network for pet care while working remotely. These days I am in between jobs so I have plenty of time during the day to take your pet for walks or to the park. I recently drove my friend's sweet dog from San Diego to Philadelphia and we had quite an adventure stopping at many dog-friendly landmarks along the way! It was a blast! I typically cover pet sitting for pet parents who prefer that I stay in their homes while they are away, but I also have availability for daily or weekly drop-ins, walks, park or beach time, and other excursions. I have some experience driving dogs and cats across the country as well as extensive experience traveling to different states to care for pets for weeks or months at a time. While I live in San Diego, I've traveled to New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Colorado to care for several sweet dogs and cats. I seek to understand what you and your pet needs and do my best to provide a continuity of care and comfort while you are away. Once I know what your pet needs and is accustomed to, I ensure their routines are adhered to as closely as possible until you can return.

“We recently had our senior dog stay with Stacy for her first daycare stay and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Stacy was so attentive to her needs, making sure she was comfortable and well cared for. Meeting Stacy in person on the first day really set our minds at ease and our dog seemed so at ease when we picked her up, clearly a sign she’d been well-loved! I highly recommend Stacy for anyone looking for a compassionate, dependable pet sitter, especially for older dogs.”

About: My wife and I have had dogs our whole lives. We recently lost both our beautiful pups to old age and still have so much love to give so we decided to make ourselves available to care for your beloved doggies while you're out of town. We both work from home and have a fenced yard for your pup to play and sunbathe in! We can’t wait to meet your furry ray of sunshine! We both work from home and are there all day. Sometimes one of us will go to the gym for an hour or run an errand but usually the other is still at home so rest assured that your pup will have company for the majority of the day. We live in a house with a fenced back yard with ample frolicking and sunbathing space and a quiet neighborhood great for walks and exploring.

I am available when my child is at school my schedule is open. I prefer days and evenings but I can manage early morning walks as well. I have a balcony that is fully enclosed and I also have only one floor with an open space concept. My pets are free and safe to be in the home it is baby proofed.

About: Life long dog owner. Over forty years of experience with large active breeds. From rescue to training giving fur babies an active fun day. I currently have three well behaved German Shepherds that go on long daily walks on a leash or running free at dog beaches and hikes out in the open fields in Otay lakes. I have a large kennel and a back yard with plenty of room for a comfortable stay. I’m currently retired and have plenty of time to have fun with my dogs getting in different adventures daily. We enjoy long hikes to lakes or ponds and frequently go swimming at OB dog beach and fiesta island. Now that I’m retired I would like to dedicate myself to dog training. I have a fenced yard half the yard is a kennel but the kennel stays open for full yard to roam. My pups are usually following me around the house all day so I try to keep them active with training and hikes or long walks. For smaller indoor dogs I will provide a comfortable environment indoors with their own separate kennel to sleep in at night making sure they are pampered and spoiled. My dogs are very gentle and friendly and socialized around different size dogs their whole lives. They also have their own area that they like and stay in that can be secured for added safety.
“So amazing and followed all the instructions I provided for my 8-week puppy. I was constantly sent updates as well. Definitely recommend and will be booking if I need in the future!”

About: My husband and I have taken care of dogs since we were about 10 years old. Be it if they are wild and free or couch surfers, your pet will always be loved like if they are family. I am blessed enough to work from home along with my husband so your pets will always have someone to look after them. Belly rubs demands will always be met as well as any needs they might have. We have a fenced in front yard and backyard to provide freedom when the jitters are jittering or nature is calling. With enough room to play fetch if that is their cup of tea. We also have experience with senior dogs and being on a routine if medications are needed. If your dog needs the safety of a crate because they can be anxious we also have one and can easily provide and accommodate any needs within reason.
“Sylvia has been walking our dogs over lunch once a week for the last couple weeks and it's been so great. She gives us updates on how the walks went and pictures. She is patient with my shy, nervous dog, so he's starting to get more comfortable with her, which is really nice and was originally a big concern for us. Thanks, Sylvia!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. From cats to dogs and even a goat, I’ve experienced it all. My family and I regularly house puppies and kittens from Tijuana, Mexico in our home until we are able to find them their forever home here in the states, so it is safe to say that I am well equipped for the needs of your furry friend(s). As someone who drives to the beach for a sunset walk on a daily basis I’d love to be able to bring your friend(s) along for the ride ☺️ I currently am working Monday - Wednesday full time but am open every other day of the week as I am still in school. That being said, I would be completely open to care for your pet(s) and give them the same attention they’d receive at home Thursday- Sunday! I have ample space for your pet(s) with a large backyard that includes grass and a large fence to ensure that they are safe. I’ve always made it a habit to regularly check on pets’ food / water and in a cats case, their litter box. If your cat needs a relaxing environment with endless amounts of pets I can do that. If your dog / puppy needs a long walk or even a run, I can do that. I understand that leaving your pets with a stranger can be nerve racking but rest assured that they’re in good hands 🙌
“Matheo is very prompt, reliable and trustworthy. He always updated me when I’m out of town which is always comforting. My dog likes him. Overall, I highly recommend Matheo. His service is excellent. I will definitely get him again next time…”

About: Hi! My name is Sophia and I'd love to take care of your fur babies! I currently work at an emergency pet hospital which makes me a good option for knowing if your baby is not feeling too good or is taking medication. I've also volunteered at the animal shelter for a few years cleaning kennels and walking dogs. I also volunteered at the medical room and helped pre and post surgerys. In addition, I also graduated in Animal Science from UC Davis. I have always loved animals and would love to take care of yours. I am currently on summer break from college so I am available anytime to take care of your pets! I can work mornings or nights. “It was my first time leaving my pets in someone else’s care, and I’m so glad I entrusted them to her. She tailored the environment to suit the personalities of both my dog and cat, paying attention to every detail. She’s a trustworthy pet sitter who truly goes the extra mile. I’d love to ask for her help again if the opportunity arises!”

She showed them love and attention and made them feel like they were home for a couple days. I would use her again and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Kristen was once again so good with our pup! She was able to accommodate us while we went out of town last minute no problem which was a huge life saver!! we knew our pup was in good hands! thank you Kristen!!”

“I can't say enough positive things about Tyler. He's super attentive and friendly. I felt completely at ease leaving my boy Wyatt with him and wouldn't hesitate to call on him again. His place looked super dog friendly, and you can tell he has a passion for animals. Great communication and easy going personality. Thanks again Tyler!”

“Analisa watched my baby Pebbles this past weekend and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me updated the whole time with pictures and little check-ins, which honestly made me feel so much more comfortable being away. She was always quick to respond and it was clear Pebbles was being well taken care of and getting lots of attention. I’d definitely trust her to watch Pebbles again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring!”

“First time booking with with my two golden retrievers and it was a great experience all around. Priscilla and Pascual were super friendly, easy to work with, and had great communication the entire time. My dogs came back happy and healthy, which says everything. Pick up and drop off was very convenient, and pricing felt fair. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend.”

“Natalee was an amazing sitter for our little guy Luffy! She is super sweet and kept great communication throughout his stay, making sure to share some adorable photos of their weekend adventures together :) Luffy seemed to have a great time and was even excited to see Natalee again upon dropping him off. We highly recommend Natalee to take care of your pups and look forward to having a safe space for Luffy to stay for future vacations!”

“Monique (and her family) watched my senior kitty with chronic kidney disease. I was very concerned about him using the bathroom and being comfortable since it’s the first time I boarded him anywhere. She was incredibly helpful and did a meet & greet with us to see how he would do. We discussed the best set-up for him ahead of time and she really put my worries at ease. She sent me plenty of updates about his situation and pictures of him. He warmed up to them way quicker than I thought he would! He was incredibly comfortable with them after about a day. They really treated him like he was a part of the family!”
