From the very first moment, she made him feel safe and earned his trust instantly. She went above and beyond my expectations in every possible way, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly kind. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. She kept me updated with messages, photos, and details that gave me complete peace of mind. She is friendly and great with dogs. I was worried about how my dog would get along with hers, but Dominique is an amazing pack leader and managed everything without incident. About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was young. Ever since I was a teenager I enjoyed walking my family, friends, and neighbors’ dogs. I have experience with dogs of all ages and many different breeds I am available to walk, board, or visit your dog all days of the week. I prefer to be notified at least a day in advance so I can properly schedule and prepare to care for your dog. I have a large backyard with clear space for the dogs to around and play. There is open space in the living room for dogs to relax, with room for dog beds or anything else they arrive with. This space is gated off from the rest of the house for safety. There’s enough room to separate the dogs from one another if they need space.
“Christine was amazing! She provided a wonderful, welcoming environment with lots of space for our Thor to wander around. Communication was top notch with daily updates and great pictures sent. Will definitely book with again!”

“Jovi is fantastic. My cat absolutely adores her. She’s punctual, independent, and handled everything smoothly. She even went the extra mile to care for a stray I’ve been helping. I came home to a tidy space and a happy pet. Already planning my next booking. Highly recommend you try Jovi.”

“Probably it’s her first cat sitting, so she made a mistake initially. Later she earnestly tried to make things better. Ants were getting into our cat’s food. So she got a baking sheet from the kitchen, filled it with water, and put the cat’s food bowl in the water. She came with the idea all by herself. This makes us so happy. Definitely gonna request for her again.”

“Tyler is absolutely the BEST! He is so conscientious, caring and most thorough. You will not be disappointed by his dedication and attentiveness to your pets. He is very hardworking and trustworthy whether it be about your home or/and your pets. Please do not hesitate when considering Tyler for your pets needs, we're so glad we met him and glad to know caring quality people like Tyler exist, its no wonder why he has more positive reviews from all other sitters we saw on this website. Thank you Tyler for taking care of our cuddly cuties, we appreciate you!”

About: Welcome to my page! I like to show kitties my love by making them feel at ease and trusting me to have a more positive experience all around. I have taken care of cats belonging to family members and neighbors, and it's always a great experience even with the shy fur babies.

“My first time hiring a rover for my kitty and Elizabeth went above and beyond to make sure my cat Dixie was comfortable and safe. Dixie had an upset stomach over the weekend and Elizabeth even stayed extra time to make sure everything was okay when she threw up. Will definitely be booking with Elizabeth again! :)”

“This was the first time I had to find a sitter for my babies. It has been difficult especially since my sons are in law enforcement they were very skeptical about having me bring in someone I did not know into my home. I looked through many profiles and found Sylvia. I am extremely surprised on how well Dodger and Nala have been around Sylvia ESPECIALLY DODGER LOL They both have been very comfortable around her and that makes me feel better. Thank you Sylvia”

“Citlalic was an excellant sitter for my cat Bella. She followed my instructions perfectly and I came back to a happy, healthy furbaby. It is rare for sitters to see Bella let alone pet her but Citlalic was able to do both and sent me photos to prove it. I was shocked. Overall Citlalic was great and we would hire her for drop-in visits again and again.”

“Jiselle stepped in for a few weeks while our regular walker was unavailable. She was accommodating to our schedule with Chico and was willing to be flexible with the timing of things due to the hot weather. Definitely going to consider her again for future needs! 😊 Thank you Jiselle!”

About: Hi there! Here’s a few fun facts about me: - I’m a strong proponent of litter cleanliness and always go above and beyond with this task - I believe it is courteous to let my cats sniff whatever I’m holding - I speak to cats like they’re people and try to learn their language I hope to share the love with all of the fur babies. I have experience with taking care of 5 cats at a time and have administered medications to one (pill by mouth twice daily).

About: I've spent my whole life around animals — 30+ years — but over the last decade, cats have completely won me over. Don't tell my dogs, but I secretly love cats most of all. There's something about earning a cat's trust that's just deeply satisfying. Right now my home includes two cats of my own, so I know the rhythm of cat care inside and out: the feeding routines, the litter box standards, the medication schedules, and most importantly, reading the difference between "leave me alone" and "okay, fine, you may pet me now." I respect that cats run on their own terms, and I never force interaction — I let your cat set the pace, which is exactly why they tend to warm up to me surprisingly quickly. With 30+ years of hands-on animal experience, very little fazes me. I'm calm, attentive, and genuinely happy spending time with your cat, whether that's an interactive play session, a quiet check-in, or just sitting nearby so they don't feel alone. What you can count on: someone reliable who shows up, follows your routine exactly, keeps your home and your cat just as you left them, and sends you updates (and photos!) so you can relax while you're away. Your cat will be in genuinely loving, capable hands. 🐾
“Marlene was easy to set up with, left pictures to ease the stress of leaving my cat for a week, and provided great service for my pet. Thank you! Highly recommend!”

I treat every cat like family and always make sure they feel comfortable, clean, fed, loved, and well cared for while you are away.

About: I have always loved and adored dogs and cats all my life. Although I must admit, I am more of a dog lover then anything else, I can never resist cats neither, especially orange tabby cats like the one I had growing up..Hello, My name is Jonathan, or you can just call me Jon, Jonny, or just Jonathan. I have had experience with pet care and loving said pets ever since I was a little boy. I am trained in Animal CPR, bottle feeding, ECT. When you're best friend is with me, I leave NO stones unturned. Dogs and cats will be loved, cared for, and will receive my undivided attention while I am taking care of him/her. Tuesday's and Thursdays I will not be available due to me getting my BS in Animal care and behavior. But other than that, I am available for your furry friend At this time, I can not have your furry friend stay with me OVER NIGHT at my place, however, day sitting will be a good experience, for I have a large back yard that has gates on both sides, plenty of grass to run around in, and a large bedroom with a AC for when it's too hot to run around outdoors

“Kenia was awesome! I needed dog sitting for a few hours while out of town. She communicated quickly, which I appreciate. When we showed up, she greeted my dog so warmly that I knew he would be in good hands. We would definitely go back to her if in the area.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals for 30+ years. My experience runs deep and hands-on. I spent a year working on a farm. Fun fact: I've successfully delivered three litters of puppies — every single one survived and thrived. At home I have two cats and two large senior dogs, all fixed, up to date on their meds, and flea-free. Caring for senior pups every day means I know firsthand how to handle slower walks, medication schedules, achy joints, and the extra patience and gentleness our older companions deserve. What you can count on from me: reliability, genuine love for your animal, and someone who treats your pet like the soul they are. I'll follow your routines to the letter, keep you updated, and make sure your furry family member feels safe and happy while you're away. So whether your pet is a bouncy puppy, a dignified senior, or somewhere in between, I'm calm, confident, and capable in just about any situation. I'd be honored to care for yours. 🐾 Pet care isn't an afterthought for me — it's woven into my daily rhythm. I already care for my own animals every morning and evening, so feeding times, litter scooping, medication schedules, and check-ins are simply part of how my days are built. Adding your pet to that routine feels natural, not like an extra errand. I keep a flexible schedule that lets me be reliably present throughout the day, so I can accommodate everything from quick drop-in visits to longer sessions and consistent walking times. I'm happy to match whatever cadence your pet is used to, whether that's a strict feeding window, mid-day company, or a steady morning-and-evening routine. Most importantly, I show up when I say I will. You'll always know your pet is being cared for on schedule, every time. In my own home, your pet joins a calm, animal-friendly environment with my two cats and two gentle senior dogs — all fixed, vaccinated, on their meds, and flea-free. I keep food, medications, and anything hazardous safely out of reach, maintain clean litter and feeding areas, and can give a nervous or new pet their own quiet space to settle in. If separation is ever needed, I'm comfortable crating or sectioning off rooms so every animal stays safe and stress-free. In your home, I treat your space with the same care I'd want for my own. I follow your instructions exactly — entry, alarm codes, feeding, litter, medication, and lock-up — and I keep doors and gates secured so there's no risk of a pet slipping out. I stay alert to your pet's behavior and comfort, and I'll always reach out right away if anything seems off. Whether at my place or yours, my goal is simple: a safe, clean, loving environment where your pet feels secure and you feel completely at ease. 🐾

About: Life long dog owner. Over forty years of experience with large active breeds. From rescue to training giving fur babies an active fun day. I currently have three well behaved German Shepherds that go on long daily walks on a leash or running free at dog beaches and hikes out in the open fields in Otay lakes. I have a large kennel and a back yard with plenty of room for a comfortable stay. I’m currently retired and have plenty of time to have fun with my dogs getting in different adventures daily. We enjoy long hikes to lakes or ponds and frequently go swimming at OB dog beach and fiesta island. Now that I’m retired I would like to dedicate myself to dog training. I have a fenced yard half the yard is a kennel but the kennel stays open for full yard to roam. My pups are usually following me around the house all day so I try to keep them active with training and hikes or long walks. For smaller indoor dogs I will provide a comfortable environment indoors with their own separate kennel to sleep in at night making sure they are pampered and spoiled. My dogs are very gentle and friendly and socialized around different size dogs their whole lives. They also have their own area that they like and stay in that can be secured for added safety.
“Stacy saved my trip! I came to San Diego to bring my nephew to Legoland, and at the last minute my dog sitter had to cancel. My dog is not especially difficult to care for, per se, but he is old and has a lot of needs or else he gets anxious. Stacy not only stepped in to help on very short notice, but was incredibly kind and gracious about it. She treated my baby like he was her own. I feel very grateful and lucky to have found her and will definitely reach out if I need dog sitting in San Diego again. Thank you Stacy (and Ronnie)! My nephew and I are both very grateful that we got to go enjoy our day without having to worry.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of reliability, experience, and genuine love for animals—paired with a calm, patient approach that pets respond to. I don’t just watch pets; I build trust with them. Whether it's helping a nervous pup feel safe, administering medications to a senior dog, or maintaining consistent routines for multi-pet households, I treat each animal as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine—it’s something I truly enjoy and make time for. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or evening check-ins, I prioritize consistency and reliability for every pet I care for. I build my schedule around the needs of each animal, ensuring they get the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or at a client’s, my priority is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that mirrors their routine and reduces stress. In My Home: I provide a calm, pet-friendly space where animals can feel at ease. I follow their feeding, walking, and sleeping routines closely, offer supervised playtime, and ensure they’re never left alone for long periods. I also separate pets when needed for safety and comfort, and I keep a clean, secure environment with pet-proofed areas. In the Client’s Home: I treat the space with respect and care while maintaining the pet’s familiar environment. I stick to their established schedule, including meals, walks, medication, and playtime. I also send regular updates, photos, and notes so pet parents feel connected and confident while they’re away. No matter the setting, I prioritize safety, communication, and individualized care so each pet feels loved and well cared for.

About: I have had pets since I was born. I raised small breed dogs (family dogs) when I was younger and went in to raise 2 large breed dogs at my current age. I have trained my dogs since they were puppies and have often received compliments on their behavior. They enjoy time outside, snuggles on the couch, and homemade treats. All of which I’d offer to any dog in my care. I have a spacious home with plenty of room to run around. I am skilled in giving medication to all sizes and ages. My Aussie is not keen on meds so I’ve had to learn ways to get around that. I love all animals and someday hope to have a farm once my husband retires from the Navy. I do not work. My husband is the worker. I’m the homemaker. So I have plenty of time to do drop ins, check ins, etc and will not leave your dog for long periods of time. I have my own car, so I’m able to make it from point A to B without issue. I also have a routine that my own dogs follow, so I’m up everyday by 8am. I have 2 crates already located in my home. I hsve 2 dogs of my own. A female pitbull (Erza) and a male Aussie (Killua). I have a garage that I allow them to run around in for exercise (I’m working on making it into a doggy play room for my dogs, but it’s large so it’d fit up to 8 dogs). I have have 3 Furbo cameras in my home, so on the off chance I have to not be home I am able to view them on camera. I can also send recordings as needed.
“So amazing and followed all the instructions I provided for my 8-week puppy. I was constantly sent updates as well. Definitely recommend and will be booking if I need in the future!”

About: As a Navy veteran and former corpsman, my entire job was focused on taking care of people. I bring that same level of care, reliability, and attention to detail to looking after your pups. I’m also a proud dog dad to three rescues of my own—including one who needs special medical attention every single day. Because of that, I’m completely comfortable with unique routines, medications, and giving them extra tender loving care. I'm currently a student, my schedule is super flexible. Whether you need daily walks, quick drop-in visits, or overnight boarding, I’m here to help and can easily adjust to whatever routine works best for you and your dog. I always want to make your dog or cat feel safe and at home while you’re away. To accomplish this I make your dog part of my family for however long we are together. I allow the dogs space and time to get use to the environment which helps build trust. I’m with your pet the whole day if necessary.
About: I have had my own dogs as a kid and have been the go-to friend in my network for pet care while working remotely. These days I am in between jobs so I have plenty of time during the day to take your pet for walks or to the park. I recently drove my friend's sweet dog from San Diego to Philadelphia and we had quite an adventure stopping at many dog-friendly landmarks along the way! It was a blast! I typically cover pet sitting for pet parents who prefer that I stay in their homes while they are away, but I also have availability for daily or weekly drop-ins, walks, park or beach time, and other excursions. I have some experience driving dogs and cats across the country as well as extensive experience traveling to different states to care for pets for weeks or months at a time. While I live in San Diego, I've traveled to New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Colorado to care for several sweet dogs and cats. I seek to understand what you and your pet needs and do my best to provide a continuity of care and comfort while you are away. Once I know what your pet needs and is accustomed to, I ensure their routines are adhered to as closely as possible until you can return.

About: I've been caring for fur babies since I was 10 — first informally for friends and family, and over the years my friends have come to rely on me every time they travel, trusting me with the pets they love most. That's the same care I bring to every dog I sit for: walking, boarding, sitting, and drop-in visits, all handled with genuine love and attentiveness. I'm comfortable with dogs of all temperaments and energy levels, and I treat every pup like they're my own. Your dog won't just be looked after, they'll be adored. I was laid off last year, and since then I've been dog sitting in my neighborhood in NYC. Now that I've relocated to San Diego, I'm looking to bring my services here. I'm home all day, every day, so I have plenty of time and attention to give — especially for dogs who need extra activity and frequent walks. My apartment complex also has a gated dog park, which is a great space for exercise and playtime. Pet care isn't squeezed into my week, it's a core part of it. Every dog in my care is treated like family. I'm home all day, so pets get consistent attention rather than being left alone for long stretches. They'll have plenty of walks, playtime, and one-on-one time throughout the day. I pay close attention to each dog's individual needs and routine, whether that's feeding schedules, medication, or just knowing when they need extra calm or extra activity. My goal is always for pets to feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely loved while their owners are away.
About: My wife and I have had dogs our whole lives. We recently lost both our beautiful pups to old age and still have so much love to give so we decided to make ourselves available to care for your beloved doggies while you're out of town. We both work from home and have a fenced yard for your pup to play and sunbathe in! We can’t wait to meet your furry ray of sunshine! We both work from home and are there all day. Sometimes one of us will go to the gym for an hour or run an errand but usually the other is still at home so rest assured that your pup will have company for the majority of the day. We live in a house with a fenced back yard with ample frolicking and sunbathing space and a quiet neighborhood great for walks and exploring.

About: My husband and I have taken care of dogs since we were about 10 years old. Be it if they are wild and free or couch surfers, your pet will always be loved like if they are family. I am blessed enough to work from home along with my husband so your pets will always have someone to look after them. Belly rubs demands will always be met as well as any needs they might have. We have a fenced in front yard and backyard to provide freedom when the jitters are jittering or nature is calling. With enough room to play fetch if that is their cup of tea. We also have experience with senior dogs and being on a routine if medications are needed. If your dog needs the safety of a crate because they can be anxious we also have one and can easily provide and accommodate any needs within reason.
“Matheo is very prompt, reliable and trustworthy. He always updated me when I’m out of town which is always comforting. My dog likes him. Overall, I highly recommend Matheo. His service is excellent. I will definitely get him again next time…”

“Elizabeth is great. Jellybean loves his walks and she is always punctual , and so happy to see him. She is a great addition to a routine which is crazy busy and helps our family immensely. I recommend her . Jellybean is a big dog and she handles him very well and keeps him safe.”

About: I've used too own two pitbulls when I was younger and from the moment we got them my family taught how important it was to make sure they have all the love and care that was needed. As I hot older I discovered It was part of my nature to want to take care of something so I spent a lot of time dog sitting for family friends I've taken care of chihuahuas ,golden retrievers and terriers . Normally I try to make time at any moment of the day as long as I have the opportunities to take care of someone's pet I understand that a lot of people want to but can't make the time for their babies because of their busy work schedule. I've never had to deal with an emergency while pet sitting but for the basics I mostly make sure your bestfriend has regular acces to food and water and make sure to take them on their regular walks at owners request that can vary from once to twice a day normally more than that depending on how often you bestfriend want to use the restroom.
“This is the second time I've booked Tyler. He likes to get to know your dogs beforehand and really seems to love animals. If you're in need of a great sitter, walker, or whatever just go with Tyler. He's great and I will definitely use his services again.”

About: Hello there! I understand you may need someone to look over your fur-baby?! Well, here’s why I’d be a perfect fit! I have been taking care/looking over dogs for 10+ years! I have had two cocker spaniels, a golden retriever/chowchow mix, a cattle dog/Rottweiler mix, as well as a Belgium Malinois. I have also dog-sat for numerous friends and family throughout the years. Anything and everything from letting them go out for a potty break, getting them some grubs, getting some play time, going for a stroll, or simply having human interaction while their favorite human is out. I will always make sure they have the best possible care as if they were my fur-baby. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to send me a message! Hope to meet your pup soon! I am currently working part time but am extremely flexible with my schedule. If things need to be moved around feel free to send me a detailed message. About: Hi there! My name is Audrey Wall. I’m excited to use my passion and experience with animals for your pets. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, and I’ve had the best experience of sitting a variety of dogs back in 2021. I had to pause my sitter duties because of my active duty status, but now that I’m retiring, I’d love the opportunity to watch your pets. While my services are limited to daily walking and drop-in visits, the love and care I’ll provide are limitless! I understand what it can feel like to be worried about your pet being home alone while you’re away, so please allow me to put your mind at ease! My schedule is flexible, so I will always try to move my daily tasks to fit your needs! All I ask is for clear and frequent communication. I live in a single-family residence with a large grass backyard. I have a 90 lb, 8 year old rescue who is not friendly with other animals, so unfortunately, I cannot do in-sitter home boarding.
About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. From cats to dogs and even a goat, I’ve experienced it all. My family and I regularly house puppies and kittens from Tijuana, Mexico in our home until we are able to find them their forever home here in the states, so it is safe to say that I am well equipped for the needs of your furry friend(s). As someone who drives to the beach for a sunset walk on a daily basis I’d love to be able to bring your friend(s) along for the ride ☺️ I currently am working Monday - Wednesday full time but am open every other day of the week as I am still in school. That being said, I would be completely open to care for your pet(s) and give them the same attention they’d receive at home Thursday- Sunday! I have ample space for your pet(s) with a large backyard that includes grass and a large fence to ensure that they are safe. I’ve always made it a habit to regularly check on pets’ food / water and in a cats case, their litter box. If your cat needs a relaxing environment with endless amounts of pets I can do that. If your dog / puppy needs a long walk or even a run, I can do that. I understand that leaving your pets with a stranger can be nerve racking but rest assured that they’re in good hands 🙌

I have a rather large front and back yard that raps all the way around the house. I have a small dog her name is Mary Jane. I have two dog kennels if u perfered to keep your dog in a crate.
About: I'm a responsible and animal-loving individual who is eager to help care for your furry friends. I'll provide safe and fun walks, ensuring your dogs get the exercise and attention they need. Trust me to take care of your beloved pets I'm a college student with a bunch classes and work But on the weekends, I love to spend my free time walking dogs! It's a great way for me to get some exercise, hang out with some furry friends, and just chill. Since my weekends are my only downtime, I'm available to take your pup on a fun adventure on Saturday and Sunday. So, I'm only doing dog walks, which means I'm coming to your house, grabbing the pup, and taking them on an adventure around the neighborhood! I'll make sure they get some exercise, sniff out all the best spots, and have a doggone good time. After the walk, I'll bring them back home, give 'em a quick towel dry if they got wet, and make sure they're comfortable and happy before I head out!
About: Hi! My name is Sophia and I'd love to take care of your fur babies! I currently work at an emergency pet hospital which makes me a good option for knowing if your baby is not feeling too good or is taking medication. I've also volunteered at the animal shelter for a few years cleaning kennels and walking dogs. I also volunteered at the medical room and helped pre and post surgerys. In addition, I also graduated in Animal Science from UC Davis. I have always loved animals and would love to take care of yours. I am currently on summer break from college so I am available anytime to take care of your pets! I can work mornings or nights. If your fur baby was in my home, I have one dog and he's super sweet and does well with other dogs. I take him on a walk at least once a day and would do the same for yours. I can adjust to your preferences if you'd prefer special diet for your pets such as bland chicken and rice, if they prefer to be inside or outside and play with them as frequent as possible.

“My Penny just finished up her 4th stay with Kenia and Andrew so this review is long overdue. They are amazing. The communication and care is great, plus they treat Penny like a member of the family so I know she’s in great hands when I have to go out of town. Thank you both!”

“Lori is my favorite sitter! She is thoughtful, trustworthy, and overall takes great care of my dogs. She was also communicative about my dogs behavior while they were with her, and she was very patient with one of my dogs misbehaving a little. I can rest easy whenever my dogs are with her!”

“Desteny took amazing care of King when I had to go out of town. She sent photos of him every day, and he looked calm and happy in every single one. She was accommodating of his needs, and was willing to give him the same routine and structure that he has at home. I appreciate her willingness to provide boarding for King despite my request being short notice. Will definitely board with her next time!”

“John & Francesca were so fantastic with our young 60 lb pittie! They were so accommodating to his routine and quirks. We received pics and updates of his staycation. Highly recommended!!!!”

“Dominique really saved my week by agreeing to a last minute booking when I unexpectedly had to rearrange my travel plans and find a place to board my dog the same day. She is friendly and great with dogs. I was worried about how my dog would get along with hers, but Dominique is an amazing pack leader and managed everything without incident. I appreciated the daily photos and updates with details of how my dog spent her day, how she was eating, and sleeping. I would definitely recommend Dominique as a dog sitter, and if I ever need a sitter in the future I will definitely reach out to her again! Thank you Dominique!”
