For about a year, I worked at a cat lounge and rescue center. We’d take in or pick up abandoned cats and kittens, work with vet techs to administer medication when needed, maintain a tidy room with multiple litter boxes (scooped frequently!), sanitize and clean each night before leaving, and help families adopt their new cuddly friend. I also created and updated each cat’s “profile” online for visitors to be informed of the cats they are seeing & which are available for adoption, full of cute pics and personality statements for each one. I enjoy documenting playtime with pets and will always send quality pics & videos, as well as a detailed update & cuddle report. :)

Maria always takes great care of my cat. Leo enjoys playing with her and always looks super relaxed and happy after spending time with her. She also keeps everything very organized and clean. I will definitely use her again in the future.
Maria is absolutely wonderful. She updated on my cat regularly, gave him extra care, and spent tons of quality time with him. He was very happy to be at her home, feeling safe and comfortable. I cannot recommend her enough.
Maria is awesome. She took great care of Leo, and provided excellent service. My cat really loves her. She kept my room clean and made sure Leo was well cared for. I truly appreciate that she helped with some emergency requests and handled everything with care. I would highly recommend her and would definitely book her again if I need the service in the future.

Maria was absolutely wonderful! It was our first time taking our kitty to someone else's home, and we were definitely nervous. She took the time to come meet him in his safe space first, told us a bit about her routine, and how she usually communicates, and just hung out for a few to get him comfortable with her. Our boy is also not great with strange animals so we loved that she only accepts one client at a time. She was flexible with pick up and drop off, and every single day she sent us several photos and videos of our boy. He clearly made himself at home, and the videos showed him more and more comfortable in the new space with a new person, which made us so much more confident he was well taken care of. She was super responsive and always made sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be using Maria during our future travels, and can't recommend her enough for others!
This is an easy review to write. Right from the beginning I felt at ease with Maria. She graciously replied to all my (many) questions and was sincerely looking forward to caring for my cat (KK) Throughout KK’s time with her, Maria sent regular pictures (and videos) of the time they spent together….and there was a lot….at night, during work, watching TV, and even during game night. I warned Maria that KK was a snuggler and true to form, they bonded with the result being lots of pets and purrs. I would use Maria again….and recommend her to others.

Schedule
Mon/Wed/Fridays I work remotely & have flexibility throughout the day & night. Please note: Tuesday and Thursday I am available before 9am or after 5pm into the late night for check-ins, visits, etc.

I’m in walking-distance to many places in Downtown SD for quick or frequent check-ins. I provide detailed updates and fun pics of playtime! My home would be a calm and peaceful space for your pet, as it’s just me and my fish tank :)
A typical day
A typical check-in would start off with some hello pets to greet the cat & have them get used to me. I then would check on food & water, then scoop the liter box (taking the waste out with me when I leave). Then of course, there’s play time! I’ll provide stimulation, exercise & fun through various toys. I will always make sure to take adorable and/or silly photos to share as well & provide a detailed status update, as well as a cuddle report.
