Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based in Chula Vista and had dogs my entire life. I have experience with just about every size, breed, and personality. I’ve owned and cared for dogs ranging from German Shepherds, Dalmatians, and Pit Bulls to Shih Tzus and Chihuahuas, so I’m comfortable walking all dogs, big or small, high-energy or laid-back. Dog walking is something I genuinely enjoy, and I always focus on making sure your dog feels safe, exercised, and happy.

As a 1st time user of this app and service to walk my 95lb XL pit I was a bit nervous. I requested a last minute booking with James an hour before the time I selected and he accepted right away! James is very friendly with a calm energy and has years of experience with many different large breeds. James showed up on time and well prepared with items I hadnt thought of and it was much appreciated. James did a fantastic job walking my XL pit sending regular updates from start to finish. I highly recommend giving James a try if your in need of a dog walker. His fees are reasonable so I was able to afford an hour booking. I will be using James again in the near future exclusively for any sessions booked.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine. My job offers a lot of flexibility, including the ability to work remotely, which allows me to be available when needed. I’m consistently free after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends, making it easy for me to walk or board your cute doggies without feeling rushed. Since I already care for my own dogs daily, pet care is a natural part of my routine and something I genuinely enjoy.

I care for pets the same way I care for my own dogs, with patience, consistency, and lots of attention. Whether I am in my home or a client’s home, I always follow the pet’s routine and any instructions provided, including feeding, walking preferences, and energy level. For walks, I focus on safety and making sure the walk is enjoyable and not rushed. I pay attention to the weather, take water breaks when needed, and adjust the pace to match each dog. I am comfortable with dogs that pull, are shy, older, or full of energy. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and dog friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, and downtime so they feel comfortable and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and focus on keeping the pet’s routine consistent so they feel secure. I always send updates and photos so owners feel confident and at ease.

A typical day
We keep things fun and low stress. That means walks with plenty of sniff breaks, playtime with favorite toys, backyard hangs when appropriate, and lots of belly rubs. I also love snapping cute photos so you can see your pup having a great time. Happy dogs are the goal.
