“Lori was wonderful from first contact and booking to pick up. We needed a local sitter while on vacation and she was thoughtful enough to offer extra time which was appreciated. At drop off we noted a secure fenced area which was plenty large. It was evident she had read each of the profiles and knew about each pet. The indoor area had large pens. She sent pictures that showed all pets comfortable and relaxed. And the Great Dane with big smile. We wish we could find someone like her in our state”

About: Although I have no official skills and training...yet, but I grew up caring for animals. For 18 years I lived on a small farm in Michigan where we raised chickens, rabbits, goats, alpacas, dogs, and cats. About: Having 4+ years of volunteering at my animal shelter has given me the experience to handle various kinds of dogs and their personality traits. I primarily bring them out in the play yards to get their daily exercise so to do this outside the shelter would be like my ideal day of never ending fun. On my free-time I like to research dog breeds and learn anything dog-related. I also love to run my dog blog on instagram. I would like to commit at least 3 days of full-time availability. Nighttime hours (6-11PM) is probably my preferred time because I'm almost always available then. My house-sitting routine is set to ensure your pet receives consistent, attentive care throughout the day. On weekdays, I provide morning care before heading to work (which begins at 8:00 AM in Chula Vista). Depending on my route, I’m typically available again between 2:00 PM and latest 5:00 PM. After work, I return to your pup to spend a few hours feeding, caring for, and giving your pet plenty of attention. I then briefly check in on my own pets before coming back to your home for the evening and overnight care. On weekends, I have greater flexibility. I am available every Saturday and every other Sunday, allowing me to dedicate even more time and attention to your pet’s needs. Caring for your pet is both a joy and a responsibility I take seriously. While you’re away, they’ll be treated like one of my own—with lots of love, attention, and care. At drop off we noted a secure fenced area which was plenty large. It was evident she had read each of the profiles and knew about each pet. The indoor area had large pens. Stacy is a professional though, and the week Penny spent with her really helped her tremendously to be more comfortable with strangers and other animals. About: Our family has had several years of experience with a large variety of dogs of all breeds, ages, temperaments and medical conditions. From administering insulin shots to working with retired police dogs, we have experienced it all. You can rest assured that your dog would be loved and cared for as if it were our very own and would receive the best care as we would want for ours. We both have experience in working with dogs with some challenging traits to include health issues and are more than capable in caring for dogs in perfect to not so perfect health. We have had dogs from early puppies all the way to adopted senior citizens in our lifetime and would love to love your dog like we would our own while you're at work or out of town. We currently have weekends to ourselves and your dog would spend the day/weekend with us being part of the family. From walks to the park to play time at the beach, and even coming out with us to dinner, your dog will be made to feel like they are one of the family. We welcome dogs in the bed, car rides, play time, fetch, cuddles, and an overall good time. We genuinely love dogs and want them to feel comfortable and happy while you're away. We do not have a yard but we live close by to a fenced in park (not a dog park) and would provide several leashed walks a day. We try and keep to a routine while they are here with us so there is familiarity and a sense of comfort in that there are not big surprises. We have a quiet neighborhood and not a lot of coming and going in our home, and when we do leave, it's expected that the dog(s) go with us where ever they can. We want your dog to be part of the family while they're with us giving you peace of mind that your fur baby is loved and well taken care of, just like we would want for ours.
About: I’ve cared for many pets over the years for family and friends, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very attentive and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I follow routines closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they’re happy, clean, and cared for. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, so pet sitting fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to be available most times of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Since my schedule isn’t packed, I can focus on making sure each pet is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets at home, I make sure they get plenty of food, fresh water, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I take them on at least two or three walks during the day and make sure they get lots of playtime so they stay active and happy. I also keep their space clean, make sure feeding schedules are followed, and give them plenty of attention so they feel comfortable. At night I make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and that they’re settled in for the night. In the morning I repeat the routine by checking their food and water, taking them out for a walk, and making sure they start the day happy and well cared for.
