About: I am new to Rover but not new to pet or house sitting in general. I have sat dogs and cats while family and friends have gone on extended vacations. I am fully background checked (teacher by trade). I love to go on walks and am great with consistency/expectations if your dog is in a training program. I am a teacher who is off for the summer with no vacation plans! I can dedicate a lot of time to checking on your cat or taking care of your dog. Dogs will have the run of the downstairs and opportunities for backyard play during the day but will be expected to stay crated/in pen at night. Feedings happen on the schedule you provide and dogs will get at least two walks a day. Doggos will be treated like they belong in my house. If interested in drop ins for cat care, I will play with your cat, provide pets and head scritches, check on food and water, and remove litter box waste. It is important to me that your pets feel safe and that their routine isn’t disrupted too much. So a meet and greet for us to both feel comfortable about your pet’s care is a must!

About: I am new to Rover but not new to pet or house sitting in general. I have sat dogs and cats while family and friends have gone on extended vacations. I am fully background checked (teacher by trade). I love to go on walks and am great with consistency/expectations if your dog is in a training program. I am a teacher who is off for the summer with no vacation plans! I can dedicate a lot of time to checking on your cat or taking care of your dog. Dogs will have the run of the downstairs and opportunities for backyard play during the day but will be expected to stay crated/in pen at night. Feedings happen on the schedule you provide and dogs will get at least two walks a day. Doggos will be treated like they belong in my house. If interested in drop ins for cat care, I will play with your cat, provide pets and head scritches, check on food and water, and remove litter box waste. It is important to me that your pets feel safe and that their routine isn’t disrupted too much. So a meet and greet for us to both feel comfortable about your pet’s care is a must!

“My second time booking with Darcey! Pet parents of reactive dogs know how challenging it can be to find someone to dogsit - I hadn’t been on a family vacation in years because I was unaware such patient people like Darcey existed. I have a small dog who is moderately reactive to strangers and other dogs out of trauma. In the first 24 hours of staying in an unknown place, he will lightly nip at people who get too close too fast or at dogs who get right up in his face, and we understandably got turned down a couple of times by other sitters. I breathed a sigh of relief once I read Darcey had reactive dog experience and this knowledge helped her (and her partner) understand Oreo really well. That first day, they gave him the space and time he needed to realize that he was in safe arms and by the next morning they were buds! I’m so glad Oreo has found other human friends :).”

“Erin is a very kind, caring, and professional pet sitter. I have a young puppy, and she took amazing care of Luna during her overnight stay. Not only is Erin knowledgeable about pet care, but she also went above and beyond to make sure Luna felt safe, comfortable, and loved while we were away. Since Luna is still a puppy and can be nervous in new environments, Erin took extra time to help her adjust. She even created a cozy sleeping space and set up a crate for her, which made a huge difference. About: Growing up with dogs and missing my own, I am looking to help keep dogs happy, healthy and loved by walking, hiking, play and overnights care. My kids and I like to travel and understand how hard traveling can be when you can’t take them with you. I work full time, but will soon be off for the summer. I also have most weekends free and can drop in during my lunch if close to work. I have a great dog park near our place but prefer trails.
