About: I’ve grown up with pets around my whole life. Dogs and cats specifically but fish and reptiles too! I even have a gecko of my own. With my years of experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, I can provide safe, loving, and dependable care for your pets too! I have a very free schedule at the moment due to taking time off of school. I am available weekdays and weekends, mostly afternoon and night. Some morning availability. I make sure to focus on patience when working with new pets to ensure they are comfortable with me in their environment. I treat each home with respect and communicate clearly with owners so they feel confident their pets are in good hands.
“First time using the Rover App. We were worried how Mochi would do, but Sophia sent us pictures of him every time she went to visit him and he looked like a happy boy. She also gave us updates and kept in constant communication while we were gone. Sophia made us feel like Mochi was in very good hands so we will definitely be repeat customers. If you need someone to care for your fur family member, I highly recommend Sophia.”

About: I have experience caring for any kind of dogs and cats. I foster shelter dogs, raised and trained my Labrador Ace from a puppy and owned a senior rescue dog. I know how to care for puppies, teenager and elderly dogs, as well as kittens and cats. I'm particularly good with shy cats and getting them out of their shell, but enjoy an active, playful cat like mine just as much. Our home has a front and back yard, both fenced and a living area plus an attached sunroom. I can separate pets if needed. I have a cat room, only cats can get in, dogs have to stay outside. My cat usually roams the whole house. Can separate if needed. I also have the ability to take active dogs on walks or runs as I am an active person and runner. I am currently staying at home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making it easy to accommodate any pets needs . When a new pet arrives at my house, they will always get some time away from any other pets already here to get used to everything and decompress. After that they can meet under supervision and if everything goes well, they'll be together in the whole house. If they don't get along I accommodate and fence out different areas, inside and outside. I have a front and back yard, which can also be separated in two different areas. I also have a large sunroom attached to our living area. One of the bedrooms is a no dog zone for cats.
About: I have been around animals my entire life, growing up with family dogs and now loving and caring for my own cat. Over the past few years, I have regularly house sat and dog sat for friends and neighbors, handling everything from feeding schedules to long walks. I am deeply comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I specialize in giving high-energy dogs the active exercise, walks, or runs they need while keeping their owners' homes perfectly clean and secure. I work a standard daytime schedule during the week, so my availability is tailored for dedicated weekend care and weekday evening visits. For house sitting, I am fully available to stay at your home from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. For walks and drop-ins, I am available anytime on weekends and starting at 6 PM on weekdays. This allows me to give your pet my undivided attention when I am on the clock. Your pet’s safety and the security of your home are my top priorities. Having base access means I have passed rigorous background checks, bringing an extra layer of trust and reliability to every booking. I am incredibly respectful of your living space and will always leave it exactly as I found it. During our first Meet & Greet, we will walk through your pet's specific safety routines, emergency contacts, and home security preferences so you can travel with complete peace of mind. I also provide frequent photo and text updates so you always know your pet is happy and safe.

About: Lifelong animal lover (no seriously, I've had fur babies since I was a baby!) with experience caring for my own high energy dogs - a Husky with a lot of attitude and crazy Australian Shepherd + my 16 year old family cat. I've also loved helping friends and family with their pets and have now become a pro in walking, feeding, administering medications and giving plenty of love and attention! ❤️ Since I work remotely, I have a super flexible schedule and love having pets as part of my workday! I’m able to step away throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, meals, or just some quality cuddle time. 🐾 I’m also happy to house sit, so your pup can stick to their normal routine and have plenty of company while you’re away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m the kind of person who will happily give your pet way too many belly rubs, send you cute photo updates, and make sure they feel right at home. ❤️ Safety and trust are really important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I want every dog I care for to feel comfortable and safe when they are in my care. I will love, pamper and care for your fur babies like I do my own! Because I work remotely, I’m able to be around throughout the day and give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision. I’m also very comfortable caring for multiple dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and quirks. I’ll always follow your instructions closely, keep their normal routine as much as possible. When house sitting, I’m respectful of your home and treat it as I would my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️
“Kylie had visited Mocha three times now and she's always been awesome and super communicative! She took very good care of Mocha while we are away at work, drained Mocha's excessive energy out and kept Mocha a happy and tired dog. Would recommend her to take care of your fur baby while you are away. :)”

About: Hi, I’m Aaliyah! I have loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets taught me very early on that every animal has a unique personality and specific needs. I know how important it is to keep your pets safe, happy, and comfortable while you are away. Because I currently work part-time, my schedule is incredibly flexible! This means I have plenty of open daytime hours, flexible breaks, and open days to dedicate entirely to your pups and pets! I strictly follow familiar daily routines, maintain open communication with regular photo updates, and treat the client's home with the utmost cleanliness and respect so everyone feels completely at ease! :)
“Sarah was amazing with our 2 dogs, we were hesitant at first to leave our dogs with someone we did not know but Sarah made the process extremely easy. We have 2 dogs that require someone with experience and we could not be happier with how Sarah took care of our boys. We will definitely be requesting her services again, if there was a possibility to leave a higher review we would. Sarah went above and beyond and handled tasks that really were not required of her. Thank you Sarah!”

“Yajahyra is absolutely wonderful! This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect person for drop-in visits for my two cats. She followed directions, provided updates, and asked for clarification when things would come up. I cannot recommend Yajahyra enough! She is my go-to, and I’m looking forward to rebooking with her in the new year!”

“Sean has been amazing with my baby girl! It gives me so much comfort knowing she’s in great care while I’m away. Since my girl is a strong dog I have never felt comfortable with anyone taking her for walks, but with Sean I have total confidence and she is a much more relaxed dog when I come home:)”

“Callon has an amazing connection with rabbits! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He truly cares for them and did a great job communicating and sending pictures to me while I was away. He went above and beyond to care for our bunnies, bought them extra fresh food and helped get supply’s for our new babies. My bunnies had a great time with Callon and I will 100% hire him anytime I need help with my rabbits.🐰🐰🐰”

Paul was great with my cats! You can tell he genuinely loves animals and really cared about making sure they were comfortable and taken care of. As of September 2026, there are 2,961 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Camp Pendleton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Camp Pendleton. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
