“Hi! Sophie's stay with Kurt and family was AWESOME! The last time I took Sophie to a sitter (someone else) she came back a totally crazed wild dog that I did not recognize. This time Sophie came home a calm, well behaved, well adjusted normal dog. She was very well taken care of and she will hopefully stay there again. ”

“Rachel and Charles were the best to watch our Dog during a week. “Sean and his wife took amazing care of our dog, Ollie while we went on a family vacation to Kauai. I received daily photo updates, and beautiful sunset hike images of Ollie out enjoying nature. It wasn’t easy leaving our boy behind for the first time, but knowing Ollie was in such capable and loving hands made all the difference. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible pet care. I will definitely be using Seans services in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Camp Pendleton
Amazing!!! I can't say enough how wonderful and attentive Greg was with our Labrador, Dolly. He spoiled her with exercise, play time, healthy goodies, and affection. She was treated like a member of the family. Dolly needs people time. I have tried some very nice dog boarding facilities and Dolly was miserable. I am so happy to have found Greg. I will hire him again!

Justin & Michelle boarded our dogs on the 4th of July overnight & everything went far better than we could have hoped for…super nice people! Great house & neighborhood with a huge fenced in backyard. Their dog Skylar got along great with our dogs. Justin shared plenty of photos & updates so we could enjoy ourselves & not have to worry at all. We highly recommend and will for sure book again! Thank you again Justin & Michelle for treating our dogs so well.

Such a nice dog sitter, she was able to reschedule our days when we suddenly had a change of plans. We got daily updates on our puppy and pictures/videos included. We had a situation where we the food we took our puppy with ran out, and they fed him some of Midnights food🐕❤️! Even packed a treat and toy of their own, that bubbles fell in love with.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
