About: I’ve grown up with pets around my whole life. Dogs and cats specifically but fish and reptiles too! I even have a gecko of my own. With my years of experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, I can provide safe, loving, and dependable care for your pets too! I have a very free schedule at the moment due to taking time off of school. I am available weekdays and weekends, mostly afternoon and night. Some morning availability. I make sure to focus on patience when working with new pets to ensure they are comfortable with me in their environment. I treat each home with respect and communicate clearly with owners so they feel confident their pets are in good hands.
About: About Me: "Hello! My name is Saron , and I am a dedicated animal lover with a highly disciplined approach to pet care. I am currently the full-time caregiver for four senior dogs, which has given me extensive experience in managing pets that require patience, specific medical needs, and a gentle pace. I understand that your dog is not just a pet, but a cherished member of your family. Because of this, my approach as a dog walker is rooted in professionalism and care: Absolute Reliability: I value your time and schedule above all else. You can count on me to be there when promised. Safety First: Your pet will always be in a controlled environment under professional supervision. Customized Pacing: Whether your dog needs an energetic workout or a calm, sniff-filled stroll (perfect for senior dogs or those with limited mobility), I adapt completely to their physical needs and temperament. Clear Communication: You will receive updates and photos during every walk, giving you total peace of mind while you are away. I am a resident of Fallbrook and am familiar with the best, safest, walking routes to ensure your dog enjoys their time without any unnecessary stress. I am committed to providing a professional, consistent service that respects your pet’s routine. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion!" "My daily routine is built around consistency and dedicated animal care. As a full-time caregiver for my own senior dogs, I maintain a structured, reliable schedule that allows me to prioritize the needs of the animals under my supervision. I am flexible and highly committed to integrating my client’s pet care needs seamlessly into my day, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, or visits they require at the agreed-upon times." "Safety is my highest priority and the cornerstone of my work. In a client’s home, I strictly follow all established routines and security protocols to ensure the pet remains comfortable, secure, and well-monitored. I approach every environment with a methodical, detail-oriented mindset, treating your home and your pet with the utmost respect and vigilance. You can rest assured that your companion is in professional, attentive, and responsible hands at all times."
About: I have been dog sitting for family and friends for about 4 years now. During those time I would do daily checkups including feeding, playing, and even taking them out on walks. I currently have practice during the weekdays that takes up the whole afternoon, so morning and evening are great times for me. However, on the weekends I am fully available the whole day. In my home I have a fenced yard to maintain the safety of my dog. I can crate/kennel a dog as well if needed
“Savanna was great to have watch my cats, she took great care of them, gave very thorough updates on each pet and sent lots of photos every day which I appreciated while I was away. Would definitely book again!! :)”

“Our dog flunked her doggie daycare test. Rather than send her to doggie jail, we checked out Rover, and it went so smoothly! Laura is exactly the person you’d want to care for your fur baby. She is clearly a dog lover, friendly, kind, responsible, and punctual. I had no worries while she was taking care of our dog.”

About: I have experience caring for any kind of dogs and cats. I foster shelter dogs, raised and trained my Labrador Ace from a puppy and owned a senior rescue dog. I know how to care for puppies, teenager and elderly dogs, as well as kittens and cats. I'm particularly good with shy cats and getting them out of their shell, but enjoy an active, playful cat like mine just as much. Our home has a front and back yard, both fenced and a living area plus an attached sunroom. I can separate pets if needed. I have a cat room, only cats can get in, dogs have to stay outside. My cat usually roams the whole house. Can separate if needed. I also have the ability to take active dogs on walks or runs as I am an active person and runner. I am currently staying at home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making it easy to accommodate any pets needs . I have plenty of space for pets, including a front and back yard, both fenced, and a living area with an attached sunroom. I also have a large crate available if needed. One of the bedrooms is reserved as a no dog zone for cats.
“Paul was great with my cats! You can tell he genuinely loves animals and really cared about making sure they were comfortable and taken care of. He kept me updated, sent me pictures, and made it really easy for me not to worry while I was away. My cats loved him, which says a lot! I'd definitely have Paul watch them again and would recommend him to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets.”

I understand how important it is to have a trust worthy person take care of your animals. Please reach out with any questions you may have! I am home most of the day so your dog will get plenty of love! I love spending time with my own dog going on walks, playing in the backyard, and giving them attention and love! I have a fenced in backyard and my 3 year old dog who is very loving to help keep your little one entertained. I have room for a kennel (if you use one). With my dog I’m use to going on morning and afternoon walks everyday and can help out with any needs your pet has!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was born I have always had 2 dogs and I’m 20 now. I am the perfect person to care for your dogs! I am currently a nursing student at UNMC and I am looking to meet some dogs and make some extra money. I have quite a few days off so it works out. I can’t house your dogs unfortunately because I live in a sorority house. I would love to in the future, but I can’t accommodate them right now.
“Paula came to our house today on very short notice to help us give our dog her first subcutaneous fluids. It gave us a lot of comfort to have a vet tech with over 20 years of experience help us. We cannot thank you enough Paula!”

“Sarah was great with our little guy. He is an older dog and took to her right away. She treated so well and I can see he misses her now that we are back.... I look forward to Sarah spending time with him again.”

“Yajahra came twice on a holiday to visit, walk, and feed my dog. Everything was as expected: professionally done. She came on time, sent me texts with pictures, and left the house looking as though she hadn't been here! She seems a very sweet person, though I was away and didn't have a chance to meet her in person. I was so pleased that I intend to use her for my dog again - and again.”

“Kylie had visited Mocha three times now and she's always been awesome and super communicative! She took very good care of Mocha while we are away at work, drained Mocha's excessive energy out and kept Mocha a happy and tired dog. Would recommend her to take care of your fur baby while you are away. :)”

“Sean has been amazing with my baby girl! It gives me so much comfort knowing she’s in great care while I’m away. Since my girl is a strong dog I have never felt comfortable with anyone taking her for walks, but with Sean I have total confidence and she is a much more relaxed dog when I come home:)”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
