About: I’ve cared for animals personally and understand feeding routines, potty breaks, exercise, companionship, and keeping owners consistently updated. I’m attentive to changes in behavior and take the safety of your pet seriously. I have flexible availability and am open to drop-in visits, pet sitting, and some walks depending on distance and schedule! I'm currently doing college online during the summer, so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. I prioritize each pet's safety, comfort, and routine. In my clients' homes, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, fresh water, exercise, medications, and any special needs. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets away from hazards, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away! My goal is to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their familiar environment.
“Sean has been amazing with my baby girl! It gives me so much comfort knowing she’s in great care while I’m away. Since my girl is a strong dog I have never felt comfortable with anyone taking her for walks, but with Sean I have total confidence and she is a much more relaxed dog when I come home:)”

“Linda was an amazing cat sitter. She has an extremely calming presence about her. Our usually very shy cat who tends to run away from strangers was instantly at ease with her and instantly liked her. She sent many many pictures every visit and told us everything that was going on with the cats. We will definitely rebook her!”

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for my neighbor for more than 18 years and I even have experience raising puppies for Canine Companions for Independence. I was also a dog walker for a brief time as well. I’m currently looking for a job, so I will have plenty of time to dog/cat-sit in the afternoons and some late mornings. I’m hoping this will lead to some good opportunities. I have a fenced good-sized backyard with a dog-run and a big hill to run around. I don’t have a crate at the moment, so you will have to provide your own.
About: I have over 20 years of veterinary medical experience and am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I specialize in taking care of senior pets or pets with special needs. I have taken care of everything from dogs and cats to reptiles and salt water aquariums. I am passionate about giving you a peace of mind when you leave your pet in my care. I am currently a stay at home mom to my 3 kids and have a very flexible schedule. I am available for drop ins and walks. I can care for pets in your own home. Pets are creatures of routine so keeping them in their own home and environment is the best way to avoid stress, especially if you are out of town.
“Nick was awesome with our girls! They both instantly took to him. We really appreciated him making time last minute, too. We’re looking forward to having him housesit for us, too!”

“Aidrey did an amazing job with our dog Benito over the last 4 days while we were traveling. She handled drop-in visits to feed him, let him out, and take him on walks, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was well cared for. Traveling is so much easier when you can truly count on someone, and Aidrey was exactly that. I had a couple of schedule modifications come up, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which I really appreciated. Benito was happy, well taken care of, and clearly comfortable with her. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book her again!”

“Samantha was great with my two dogs. She sent lots of pictures and videos, as well as a nice written note. She handled my dogs well and they were happy as can be! I will be using her for all my dog sitting needs in the future.”

About: Our pets can be the most valuable thing in our lives, taking care of them and loving them properly takes a village. Allow me to give you the relief of going to work, on vacation or off doing whatever life brings you. I have many years of experience with all sorts of animals, exotic and your typical puppy. I also have a photographer in my back pocket so guarantee some cute photos of your babies. I work part time at Better Buzz and looking to make some extra cash to make ends meet! I work super early shifts and have all day to come walk your pup. We keep our pups on a regulated diet, watching the weight of Riley. We give meds to Riley daily and have many tips and tricks to get him to take his med if he refuses! Our moody husky refused to eat many times and we find healthy ways to excite her food. I like to know about the type of dog they are, I’ve been around many dogs, overly loving, scared, hyperactive, and I want to make sure your pup enjoys my presence as much as I do them.
About: Hello! My name is Sydney and I am incredibly passionate about caring for and being around any and all animals! I am currently the proud owner of my rescue cat Winston. My sweet angel border collie, Izzy girl, passed away back in 2024 after 15 loving, incredible years. From adopting her at one month old to her becoming a senior citizen, she spent almost all of her days at the dog beach! I have done tons of pet sitting jobs since the age of 16, mostly for friends, family and coworkers. I truly miss being around dogs, so I figured I would extend my pet care over to Rover! A few fun facts about me- I am equally a dog AND a cat person (no, I will not pick a side). I am an avid surfer, artist, and I am the wife to the most incredible husband ever! I am excited to continue my pet care on this awesome platform! I am currently in between jobs, so I have a very open and flexible schedule at the moment! I sell art and vintage as a hobby to make a few extra dollars. I am willing to do drop-ins for feeding and walks! I unfortunately cannot offer my house as a space for pet sitting, but I am happy to come to you!

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my animals. I loved reading her note visits and seeing her photos because it was obvious she spent time with my animals and really got to know them. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
