About: I am currently a veterinary assistant student, taking care of your animals will give me the opportunity to be able to expand my school experience and give you confidence in me and my capabilities when it comes to taking care of your pets. I am currently a student, my class schedule is Monday-Thursday therefore i am not able to do overnight stays during the week. Friday-Sunday i am completely free and will be able to take care and put my full attention to your pets. I will be available to do drop ins and walks during the week anytime before 5pm. I know how to work well with animals and give them the time they need, i will work to gain the pets and owner’s trust. I know how to handle animals if they are misbehaving and need to be put in a time out if anything of the sorts were to happen.

About: I am a Massage Therapist for over 26 years taking a little break from the spa world. I found myself having extra time. Recently, my friends have been asking me to dog sit for them and I thought why not open my services to my community. I recently watched a very sweet dog for a week became very attached giving lots of love and massages. I have a friendly five year-old dog that loves companionship. We have a pool that we all love to get into and cool off. I can give dog baths, dog walks dog parties. Have comfort in knowing that your dog will be well taken care of. I have the flexibility with my work schedule to only be gone 5 to 6 hours any given day. I can do check-ins a couple of times a day as well as overnight sitting in my own home. We have a decent size fenced yard. We live on a pretty quiet street with only one or two dog neighbors. My dog copper is very friendly and loves company. Copper normally stays inside, especially during the hot months. We have a park nearby that I like to throw the ball and get the wiggles out. On occasion, we take our dog to a dog park.

About: I offer housesitting with many years of experience with petting and as a Property/Estate manager in Montecito and Santa Barbara now San Diego. I only watch one family of pets at a time. Your pet will be treated as family. We go on hikes, beach days, walks, play outside in the yard and go to parks if these outings are appropriate for your pet. About this sitter: Really love what I do and the animals I care for. I grew up with many animals. My parents bred Doberman Pinchers. I love playing with the dogs, I believe it keeps both myself and the animals I watch happy and healthy to play out doors as much as possible. I also love to cuddle with the animals, they are so sweet. All the animals that come to visit us are treated as part of our family. Why I love dog sitting I grew up on a large property in San Diego with Doberman's, Germain Shepherd/collie mix and my grandfather raised Rottweilers. I just adore dogs and cats. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have enjoyed caring for pets my whole life. I had my sweet girl Stella, a pug, for 13 years. I crate, potty, and recall trained her as a puppy, fed her a balanced diet of vitamins and homemade food throughout her life, and gave her loving, gentle care in her senior hospice years. I’ve also cared for my mom’s boxer for a year and even taught her, her favorite trick… tossing a treat up with her nose and catching it! I’ve looked after my friends’ pets as well, including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, senior dogs, birds (parrot), a chameleon, and special mentioned of a disabled Frenchie who needed a little extra help to go potty. I make friends with any neighborhood kitties when they let me. Usually just takes a bit of chicken or turkey. Lol I work from home and also work a couple part time jobs so I am home often. When I do leave, it its only for about 4 hours or so. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I treat every animal as if they were my own and understand that giving their family peace of mind makes leaving them just a little bit easier.

About: Over the 15 years I’ve been house sitting professionally, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for puppies to sr. dogs, kittens to sr. cats, lizards, fish, birds, and even farm animals. My goal when I care for your pet is to keep your pet in the routine to which they are accustomed. That means I follow your written instructions, as far their feeding time, walk time, etc. Though, I also want your vacation to feel like a staycation for your pet. That means I’m going to have fun with them whether that means giving them belly rubs, playing fetch with them or playing other fun games with them. Also, please note that you can hire me for overnights, dog walks, or both. So, my price for overnight stays is to stay in your home and care for your pet, but dog walking is separate from overnight stays. During my stay, as much as I will care for you pet(s), I will also care for your home. I’m happy to water any plants, bring in any deliveries/mail, take out the trash and other light chores (I won’t mow your lawn). I work for myself writing online content for people, so my work goes where I go. The only thing I ask is that you have an Internet connection and someplace where I can set up my computer. As far as caring for pets in my home, I am only able to board certain breeds of dogs, and that is contingent on the permission of the homeowner. I am unable to care for cats in my home, but I would be able to come to your home.. In general, I always care for your pet according to your schedule and preference. And I am always sure to adjust my schedule according to the schedule you set for me to ensure your pet receives optimal care. But the key to pet sitting is to emulate the routine to which the dog is already accustomed. My goal is that when you go on vacation your pet(s) will feel like they're on a staycation. Also, please note while I charge $65 per day, I charge separately for walks ($20 per walk). For pets that do not require walks (cats, sr. dogs, etc), I charge $75 a day.
