“Overall, Bianca did a good job dropping in to take care of my cats. Lots of updates and photos which were nice. There were a couple of things I noticed though for future clients to be aware of: 1. She brought two young children with her to the drop-in visits which was not discussed with me prior to the booking or visits. Thankfully, my pets are okay with kids but I know that is not always the case with pets and there are properties that may not be considered “kid friendly”. 2. The drop-in visit care instructions requested the cat litter boxes be cleaned at least once a day. This was not done on 2 of the days we had booked because they “didn’t look bad”. I don’t believe care instructions should be open to Rover sitter interpretation unless specifically stated by the client.”

“Samantha was amazing! She was very sweet with our older cats. She was extremely detailed in her updates, very thorough and great with her communication. Our cats were very well cared for while we gone, which gave us such a peace of mind. We will be booking Samantha for all future pet sitting needs!”

“Jan enjoys long walks on the beach....with dogs. From my experience many people have a "do the bare minimum and keep the animals alive kind of mentality." This is not the case with Jan. She will not only meet the basics needs of your pet but she will be sure to make them feel loved in your absence. She genuinely cares about the animals she gets to spend time with. She has taken care of my house full of animals which includes 2 dogs, 2 cats and even a bearded dragon. She is trust worthy and kind, which really matters when you are letting someone into your home. Trips are so much more enjoyable and carefree when I know Jan is watching over things at home.”

About: I have grown up around dogs and cats ever since I was little. Currently, I do not have any cats or dogs of my own but have plenty of experience sitting for both. I am trustworthy and while you are away, I can offer your pet a calm, gentle presence and love! During the week, I often have a lot of free time on my hands. I have established a routine where I take an hour walk in the neighborhood after work and am just looking to incorporate my love for animals into my daily/weekly walk or routine. To care for pets, I always ensure their basic needs are met (ie., food, water, comfortable place to sleep). Once I get to know a pet better, I can understand more of its' unique needs (ie., whether or not to get it toys or put a blanket on top of it when it's sleeping). I think creating a safe, trusty environment first depends on the receptivity of the animal towards me.

“I have known Gabriel for over 23 years and have known him always respond to any animal with a positive reaction. He loves to care for dogs especially and has had a few family dogs throughout his life. I believe he is best suited as a pet caregiver from watching how careful and kind he is to animals in general not just his own family dogs. About: I have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I have always been the person to call when my friends are going out of town and need a sitter, and I love it! I also have experience watching new born puppies and their momma. I work part time, about 4 days a week. So depending on my schedule I can easily find time to give your dog some love and attention. I have a fenced in backyard, and plenty of walking trails around my neighborhood when they need a walk. We also have a pet free home right now, so no worry about them getting along with other dogs or cats.

About: I have a Belgian Malinois Shepard mix who is always on the go! We spend time each day going on walks, enjoying the outdoors, tons of belly rubs, snuggles, and of course being spoiled as she is an only dog! In the past, I’ve always had a family dog(s) who have been such an instrumental part of my childhood! Not only do I get to love on my sweet girl, but I also volunteer at Labs and More Rescue in Valley Center! I am currently working part time as a nanny for the sweetest little girl! My schedule won’t always be the same each week unless we discuss a daily or weekly time that works for everyone. When caring for pets I believe it is most important to show unconditional love as well as respect for his/her wants and needs during the time spent together!
