“Angeline is the best! She was so great with Bowie and took extra care of him while we were away. She is a 10/10 and I am very happy my friend referred her to me. Thank you Angeline!”

“Linda was absolutely wonderful with my pup! She was incredibly attentive and made sure to gather all the information she needed to take the best possible care of him. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was and how she made sure every request I had for him was followed through. My dog can be a little shy at first, but she made him feel comfortable and well cared for. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Another awesome pet sitting by Amanda. Her updates are always so nice and sweet. They always give me great confidence that my fur babies are being taken care of while I'm gone.”

About: I am a full-time Housesitter and have done 15+ 5 star sits ( both short and long-term stays) using a different site. I am 25 years old and I’m still “ figuring it out” in life so house sitting has been my biggest blessing! I truly love everything about the exchange and have always been a huge animal lover. I was an also nanny for many years and took on many of the typical housesitting responsibilities at that time as well ( Cleaning, taking care of animals, keeping the plants alive, etc). If it’s a good fit, i'm excited to watch your fur baby! I will absolutely treat them like they are my own🤍 I have an online business and an every so often pop up jewelry booth so my hours are very flexible and are on my own time so I’m able to help out, for the most part, whenever! Your fur baby is always going to be taken care of with me. I always double check to make sure everything on the list you set out was taken care of. My OCD is a superpower in this arena!
About: I’m patient, dependable, and treat every dog like family—whether that means sticking to their schedule, giving extra cuddles, or adapting to their energy level. I focus on creating a calm, trustworthy, and loving experience for both pets and their owners. I work a 40hour week and having the opportunity to work with pets after a long day at work would make my day so much better. I care for my pets at home by playing, walking, and overall, just loving animals. I had an indoor cat and was like a best friend. I have had 3 dogs from a happy and playful golden retriever to a Chiwawa that was difficult to understand at times but was the most protective loving dog I have ever had.

Some of the breeds I'm very well acquainted with and commonly care for are: doodles, maltese, maltipoo, shih tzu, schnauzers, terrier, cockapoo, bichon, havanese ... the list goes on! I love all dogs! :) I am able to take one client at a time (depending on your preference/dogs needs). I am able to provide free pick-up & drop offs up to 40 miles away for 3+ night stays. Please feel free to message me with any questions or inquiries! I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you! A typical day at my house will consist of play time indoors/outdoors, several outdoor breaks to play, have fun, expend energy & go to the bathroom, snuggling, and a walk or run every 2-4hours. *I prefer to host low-medium shedding dogs in my home due to allergies. I work from home, so I have the flexibility, freedom and time to give plenty of love and attention to your pup! I am an active person and love to be out in nature, so I have fun taking the dogs out for walks, as I know they love them too! I am very proactive and conscientious about pet safety, whether we are indoors or outdoors. I am always outside with dogs, and will never leave them unattended.
“Sean has been amazing with my baby girl! It gives me so much comfort knowing she’s in great care while I’m away. Since my girl is a strong dog I have never felt comfortable with anyone taking her for walks, but with Sean I have total confidence and she is a much more relaxed dog when I come home:)”

About: I have been trusted by friends and family to pet sit the past 3 years. I love all animals the same and have owned multiple pets my whole life. I am working part time and college part time with a flexible afternoon schedule. Mornings on Friday-Sundays are always great and give me lots of free time. I have a secure fenced in backyard with chickens separated to the side. We have a dog crate inside. At this time I do not offer boarding while I am trying to train my puppy.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, especially dogs. I’ve cared for many breeds, including Chihuahuas, Border Collies, Yorkies, Maltese Poodles, and Boxers, which has taught me that every pet has their own unique personality and needs. I currently have two dogs of my own, Poppy, a Miniature Schnauzer, and Lily, a Maltipoo. My pets are family, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with yours. I’ll provide your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I currently work full-time as a Senior Animal Services Counselor with Riverside County, Wednesday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I’m also an Arizona State University graduate and have over three years of professional animal care experience. After work, I train in MMA, which has helped me develop discipline, patience, and consistency. I value staying active while continuing to provide reliable, compassionate care for animals. My goal is to give your pets the attention, love, and care they deserve. When walking your pet, I always ask if you're using any specific training methods or walking routines so I can keep things as consistent as possible. For drop-in visits, I'll keep you updated every step of the way by letting you know when I'm on my way, when I arrive, and when I leave. I'll also send updates on how your pet is doing, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

As of July 2026, there are 2,337 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Rainbow. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rainbow. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
