“Sean has been amazing with my baby girl! It gives me so much comfort knowing she’s in great care while I’m away. Since my girl is a strong dog I have never felt comfortable with anyone taking her for walks, but with Sean I have total confidence and she is a much more relaxed dog when I come home:)”

About: I’ve cared for animals personally and understand feeding routines, potty breaks, exercise, companionship, and keeping owners consistently updated. I’m attentive to changes in behavior and take the safety of your pet seriously. I have flexible availability and am open to drop-in visits, pet sitting, and some walks depending on distance and schedule! I'm currently doing college online during the summer, so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. I prioritize each pet's safety, comfort, and routine. In my clients' homes, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, fresh water, exercise, medications, and any special needs. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets away from hazards, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away! My goal is to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their familiar environment.
“Amanda is amazing! I've always had a family member or close friend available to pet-sit, but I wanted to have someone that I could book in advance more frequently. She came highly recommended by a close friend who found her on Rover too. We first scheduled for a meet & greet and my one very timid dog immediately warmed up to her! We scheduled for 3 daily visits while out of town and always got updates on her arrival/departure time, and during her visits she would send me photos and updates which was so reassuring to see how happy my dogs were! I couldn't be happier knowing that I can fully trust that my dogs are being loved and very well taken care of while away! 10 stars!!!!”

About: I fortunately was born into a household that loves all kinds of animals from fish to dogs to rodents. I have developed consistent routine skills just from the responsibility that is given when owning a pet. I have been a designated pet sitter for friends ensuring that their pets just as healthy and happy as they are with their owner! I’m patient and integral to instructions making sure each pet gets proper care. I’m especially good at training dogs, both puppies and adults. Pet care-taking has taught me fundamental values that I carry with me today! I’m currently a student at Great Oak High School on the road to graduate on June 4th! My schedule will be even more clear once summer hits. I am currently unemployed so my hours are very flexible and I am very available. My pets are primarily indoor pets and are usually hanging out on the furniture, however, I let them out my fenced backyard frequently for potty breaks or if they need to let out energy to play. During these times I make sure to an eye on them until they come back inside. I take them on walks every other day consistently in the morning. During feeding time, I ensure each pet is separated during and take any necessary precautions to prevent food aggression. I am attentive to any aggressive/bad behavior and know how to respond accordingly. On the other hand, I always make sure to reward good behavior with lots of love and treats. For cats, I am a clean freak and make sure the empty box is always empty. Overall, I provide protective but intentional care with all pets!
“Laetitia is wonderful! She took time to meet our two dogs before our first drop-in and my dogs liked her at first greeting. Laetitia took great care of our dogs! I appreciated her excellent communication, the pictures she sent, and the extra attention she provided. We looking forward to working with her again!”

“Tasha was a total angel with Shadow. He loved her and that makes me feel so good when I have to leave him. She is kind, loving and kept everything in the house organized and most important my baby was happy. We have found a new very special friend :)”

“Sammy is great! She treated my kitty well and provided pictures as well as a video. It really gave me the piece of mind and comfort I sought while I was away. She did an excellent job following instructions and worked around my needs. She is super sweet and caring. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care for their pet. Thank you!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our fur baby receives! She does an absolutely amazing job every single time, always on time, incredibly flexible, and truly professional. What we appreciate most are the frequent updates and photos, which keep us completely at ease and always in the loop. Her communication is outstanding, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the fur babies she watches. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your fur babies like her own, she’s the one to go to. Highly recommend!!! ☺️”

“We hired Alyssa for a full week to drop-in on our medically fragile dog and quirky cat and she did an amazing job!!! Her check-ins were timely and her updates were helpful and informative. She handled their extra needs with ease. We felt so comfortable knowing she was looking after them so well.”

About: I have been trusted by friends and family to pet sit the past 3 years. I love all animals the same and have owned multiple pets my whole life. I am working part time and college part time with a flexible afternoon schedule. Mornings on Friday-Sundays are always great and give me lots of free time. I have a secure fenced in backyard with chickens separated to the side. We have a dog crate inside. At this time I do not offer boarding while I am trying to train my puppy.
About: I’m patient, dependable, and treat every dog like family—whether that means sticking to their schedule, giving extra cuddles, or adapting to their energy level. I focus on creating a calm, trustworthy, and loving experience for both pets and their owners. I work a 40hour week and having the opportunity to work with pets after a long day at work would make my day so much better. I care for my pets at home by playing, walking, and overall, just loving animals. I had an indoor cat and was like a best friend. I have had 3 dogs from a happy and playful golden retriever to a Chiwawa that was difficult to understand at times but was the most protective loving dog I have ever had.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,337 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Rainbow. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rainbow. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
