About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. And opening up our home to do that for others is an honor. I’ve attached some photos of Target, our 1st family dog. Looking at these older photos is such a trip! Blast from the past if you will. About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

I will help your senior dog get around if they need a little extra help or with your puppy to gain confidence exploring a new area. I have 3 dogs. 2 Senior at 11 years old and 1 younger at 3 years old. They are taken care of first thing in the morning and last thing at night. 1 has many allergies that we care for each day. When helping out at a pets home I follow directions of the owner. If the pet is allowed in the yard I will stay with them while they are playing and or exploring. About: Hello, I love to take care of dogs or cats. If you need to find someone to watch your best bud, then I’d be so happy to watch them for you! I have a husky dog I always take to the dog park. He loves it and I’m sure your dogs would too! I’m a runner and would love to take your active dog with me on a training run if you’d like. I would love to give your pets my attention and love! I’m organized and understand the necessity some pets have for consistency. If your pet has a particular route they are used to, or a specific route they like to walk. I’m happy to do your routine! I also am an experienced pets house sitter and can stay at your home, your pets will be comfortable with their usual environment and routines. Your home will be safe and maintained, mail will be picked up every couple days. I always clean up after myself before leaving your home so that it's as clean as you left it and I respect your home while I'm there. I love animals and I will take good care of your babies while you're gone. I send pictures and updates so you can be at ease knowing they're in good hands. I'm also experienced and prepared to take care of birds, reptiles, and am comfortable taking care of more unusual pets if needed. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available for any dates and I m works in the morning on weekends. I’m more than happy to walk, check in on your pup or play with him/her when needed. I am very excited to meet to my new furry friend! You can count on me! My passion is taking care of fur babies, this includes giving them endless attention, love, and making sure all of their needs are met. My roommate and I both have dogs, that get along beyond well with other pups. We work as a team, if one of us has leave to run an errand the other will stay back, to ensure your pup receives constant supervision.
About: I am super active (hiking, running, freediving, surfing) so I'll make sure to give your pup a good amount of exercise! I'm a Sacramento native and know all the fun places to go on a walk. I also love cats and can't get bored of playing with them! I have experience in caring for special needs and senior animals. I have tons of availability all summer long so please reach out! About: I am currently home full-time while homeschooling my youngest child who is now in his teens. We ADORE all animals! Our schedule is extremely flexible, which allows us to work with whatever schedule needs you have. I have a huge heart and could not live without animals in my life. I am very active and look forward to the opportunity to walk, play and love on your pets! For the past 40+ years I have owned, fostered and cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, horses and more. I recently lost my Great Dane after a decade of getting to love him. He had DCM since he was a puppy so I have extensive knowledge of caring for that, giant breed needs and know how to track and administer many medications. Being a stay at home mom I've often thought about walking and caring for other animals while they're humans are away at work or vacay! I recently discovered Rover and know this is a perfect fit for me! I am very patient and have experience with all areas of pet care from walking to medication dosing and everything in between! I am currently home full-time while homeschooling my youngest child who is now in his teens. Our schedule is extremely flexible, which allows us to work with whatever schedule needs you have. I have a very large, completely fenced in yard with a locked gate. We are taking a break from pet ownership and would love to open our home to care for your animals. I have experience caring for dogs and other household pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities.
