“Can’t say enough praise for Andrea, she went beyond the call for my 2 cats. She obviously really loves and cares for all types of pets. I highly recommend her for any of your pet needs. Made my 9 day visit away peaceful and more enjoyable knowing she was looking in on them and providing for them. Thanks you Andrea!😊”

“Amanda provides the best care of our fur babies! Very thorough and thoughtful with great communication. We are without worry when she is with our pets over several years now.”
“Lynda was very flexible for helping me watch my dog last minute on a holiday weekend. Lynda is great with animals and got along with my dog right away. I would trust her to drop in and watch my dog again any time.”

About: I have consistently taken care if dogs all of my life. Growing up I often spent more time with dogs than people. I started by taking care of my family’s dogs and when I finally got my own dogs I took care of them too. I will take care of your pets not only because I would be tasked to but also because I genuinely care about animals and I want them to feel loved. I am currently in college but when I’m not: I walk my dogs, I play with my dogs, and I make sure they are fed I will keep an eye on your pets to make sure they’re not getting into anything that they shouldn’t be and to make sure that they aren’t trying to escape. I would also follow whatever other rules you have placed for your pet (ex: not allowed on couch)

About: If you need to know your loyal companion is getting some extra attention and love, I would like to help you find some comfort with that. I will send you pictures and videos so you can know how our time was spent, and hopefully gain your trust in our new found friendship that helps us get through the long days at work. I’m available most days as I am self employed and fairly flexible! Sundays after 1pm~Monday through Thursday after 9am, with some alternating weekends open due to my schedule of events needed worked. I can usually be flexible with a lot of my day. I have a female Malti~Poo who I watch for my Son while he works and I believe she would enjoy the canine~ship! I could also crate if that’s the most important and appropriate way you would want to have your best bud feel safe and comfortable. I’m open to all of the best ways to help you feel like you are making them happy when you need to be at work or on vacation or just need to having some self care time. Open to suggestions

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. I have two dogs currently, a pitbull and a pug. I have experience pet sitting Dobermans as well. Additionally, I worked at a pet store for about a year so I have knowledge of pet diets, hygiene, and basic care. Currently I am working part time on weekends so I have plenty of time in my schedule to take care of fluffy friends. Other than work I have an online summer college course so my schedule is pretty flexible. I fully understand that every dog and pet is different and has different needs and schedules. I believe every pet should be treated with love and patience. Whether is playtime, feeding, walking, or just keeping some friendly company, I will give attentive care while also treating your home with respect.
“This was my very first experience using Rover, and the process couldn’t have been easier thanks to Anthony. He walked me through every step of setting up the drop-in appointments and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. During our family trip, I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in such good hands. Anthony’s care, attention to detail, and genuine passion for animals really stood out. I’ll absolutely feel confident reaching out to him again for future dog-sitting needs. Thank you so much, Anthony, for taking such amazing care of Echo and Mochi, your dedication truly shows!”

“Alyssa dropped in on my kiddos while my husband and I were both at work. They got a nice walk and attention. She is comfortable with large dogs and equipment (harness, prong collar, martingale collar). During our meet and greet she was very calm with my dogs and I could see she knows how to give dogs respect.”

“Robert is amazing! We were in town for our son’s wedding and we hired him to watch our dogs for a few hours. He’s extremely easy to work with and he was amazing with our dogs. We felt very comfortable and relaxed at the wedding knowing our dogs were being taken care of. I would highly recommend hiring Robert to watch your dogs.”

About: I don't just love dogs; I know how to take care of them responsibly. As much as working with animals is enjoyable and fun for me, I am aware of the responsibility and skill level required to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your dog (or cat). I also know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members behind with a new person, so I'd love to reassure you with daily texts and photos of how our visit is going. I'm a former animal care professional with experience as a vet tech, pet store assistant manager, and groomer, and truly have an interest in the health and well being of your pet. I'm the type of person that double checks and will pay attention to the small details in your pet's behavior and appearance. And of course, I absolutely love dogs. My favorite thing about them is their ability to break up the seriousness of a moment by being absolutely silly! I've had the chance to meet dogs of all types and temperaments, and am comfortable walking energetic, leash aggressive, or nervous dogs. I understand how important exercise and quality time are in making your pup happy. My resume and references are always available upon request. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to be at home with your fur baby. My hours are flexible and we can work on setting up a schedule specific to your pets’ needs. I mainly care for pets in your home, using guidelines you provide me with. I’m open to boarding requests but do not currently offer this service on short notice.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
