I’m happy to send photo and video updates during every visit so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work a consistent schedule and keep my availability updated. I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits, and I’ll always communicate clearly so you know exactly when your pet is being cared for. I understand how important reliability is and strive to be punctual and dependable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions exactly as requested. I’ll keep doors secure, use leashes on walks, provide fresh water, clean up after pets, and send photo updates so you always know how they’re doing.
“Thank you Anthony for always being so available and prompt with your response to our requests. But most importantly, Anthony is a reliable and caring furbaby friend! He sends us pictures that makes us feel so comfortable that our babies are loved on. They enjoy your visits and we feel confident that they are safe in your hands.”

“Andrea ROCKS!!!!!! My pups are ones that thrive for attention and cuddles so the jobs pretty easy but she also checks in on the chickens (gathers eggs if needed) and our tortoise. Weve used her twice....will always ask for her first.”
“Natasha is absolutely wonderful! She is dependable, communicates clearly, and goes above and beyond with care. There was an unfortunate incident with a rodent in our yard and the neighbors cat. Natasha not only cleaned it up, but did willingly and completely. Our pets adore her and we completely at ease knowing they are in her hands. We highly recommend Natasha for anyone looking for reliable and loving Pet Sitter.”

“Once again, Monica saved the day! I had a last minute request, and she was so helpful and accommodating. She gives me such peace of mind, and she checks in with me in real-time with photos of my very happy Tango! Having a dog with diabetes makes is very difficult to leave town last minute, and I’m so thankful for Monica and Rover!”
About: I’m definitely an animal person, I’ve had many pets throughout my life. I’d love to take care of any of your little ones!! or multiple! I’m available to work pretty much all the time i’m home a lot, and I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. so just let me know what you need! I live in an apartment so I can’t have any pets to take back but if you need me to watch your pet while you’re away or simply doesn’t need a babysitter I’m there. I’m okay with putting them away in crates if that’s what you prefer or I’m okay to simply watching them.
“Kay is a 20 out of 10. I’ve had many pets in my adult life and hired lots of pet sitters. Kay is the best. She’s extremely thorough and careful and thinks of things to help out that I haven’t thought of. I knew she was amazing immediately just based on the questions she asked me. We were gone for 17 days and my house was immaculate when I got back and kitty was obviously very nurtured and cared for. We love you, Kay!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our fur baby receives! She does an absolutely amazing job every single time, always on time, incredibly flexible, and truly professional. What we appreciate most are the frequent updates and photos, which keep us completely at ease and always in the loop. Her communication is outstanding, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the fur babies she watches. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your fur babies like her own, she’s the one to go to. Highly recommend!!! ☺️”

“Deanna took great care of our Kitty Duncan while we were away! She sent lots of pictures and left detailed accounts of her visits, which helped to set our minds at ease while traveling. This was our second time booking with Deanna and I’m sure Duncan is already looking forward to her next visit.:) Highly recommend - thank you Deanna!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and many other animals (I'm a farm girl). I forster dogs from pets rescue sometimes. So I have experienced with a variety of animals' needs and know how much your pet means to you. My husband and I are currently working from home, so we can always give your pet the attention and care he or she needs. Moreover, we have a medium dog in the house, and could accept less than 4 dogs each time, could separate them in different rooms if it's needed, to make sure your dogs will be fed according to your instructions, get enough attention and be in a caring and loving environment. I have a fenced yard and garden for your dog to have potty breaks, sunbathe, and plenty of space inside the home for rest and playing in. I also received the Covid-19 vaccine and have plenty of clean, filtered water.
“I was recently in town for a wedding and needed drop in visits for Chloe. When I met Kristen I immediately liked her and Chloe took to her easily. I’ve never used Rover and was nervous but Kristen was excellent! It eased my mind to know she was there and she sent pictures and updates each visit. I couldn’t have been happier and I highly recommend her!”

“Justine had taken great care of our cat and dog multiple times while we were gone for an international trip. She is very reliable and communicative. Our cat is such an “Introvert” but he looked very happy with Justine and well taken care of after the trip.”

“Ashley has been so amazing with our 6 month old pup! She's extremely reliable, treats Lucy like her own, and always sends pictures and updates on her visits. We're so happy to have found Ashley and highly recommend her!”

I chose Skylar to drop in for my older kitty while away for a week. Upon my request, Skylar responded quickly and recommended a meet and greet before my trip. We met the next day and while listening to my instructions carefully, she took the time to get to know Tinker (kitty) and me better. She also got to know my dog! I received daily report cards and pictures after each visit and she even gave my very shy kitty a new bed. I 100% recommend Skylar for your sitting needs. I found her to be responsible, sweet and very caring of my animals. Thank you so much Skylar! You put my mind at ease. Heather
Lisa is a true professional. She arrived on schedule each day and sent us numerous pictures and videos to keep us updated on the cats’ well-being. We can tell how well our cats are cared for by how quickly they rebound from our absence. When we returned our kitties came out to greet us right away as if we had never left. Not worrying about our fur babies allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dutch Village. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
