“This was Rachel’s first week dropping in and taking care of my 3 1/2 month old puppy and she takes great care of her and my puppy always looks very happy and calm during her visits. Rachel is also very knowledgeable about dogs which allows her to better understand their needs without any prompting”

“Sara is absolutely wonderful with our new 4 month old puppy! She is great at responding back to messages, sends update pictures, and is just super sweet with our new family member. We will be continuing to use our services as she checks in on our puppy mon-fri 😊!!”

“This is the second time using Laura and she was just as wonderful as the first. She made drop in visits this booking and we were just as pleased as when she stayed overnight. We love that our very shy and cautious guy has already taken to trusting Laura, that is enough for us to know she is amazing. Laura sent us pictures on every and always responded very quickly to our texts. We love Laura, but more importantly our kitties love Laura.”

“Katherine was great! We requested her complete a few drop in visits over the weekend. This was a very last minute request and she responded quickly and even was available for a meet and greet the same day of the request. This helped us so much! She sent photos each drop in. Thank you Katherine!!”

“This was my very first experience using Rover, and the process couldn’t have been easier thanks to Anthony. He walked me through every step of setting up the drop-in appointments and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. During our family trip, I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in such good hands. Anthony’s care, attention to detail, and genuine passion for animals really stood out. I’ll absolutely feel confident reaching out to him again for future dog-sitting needs. Thank you so much, Anthony, for taking such amazing care of Echo and Mochi, your dedication truly shows!”

“Rachelle did a great job with our senior cat (14+). She was accommodating, flexible and communicative throughout the process and worked with us at every stage over 4 days. Highly recommended.”

About: Hi my name is Benny. I have one dog at home and have experience volunteering at a shelter and dog sitting for all kinds of dogs small or large. “Amanda is such a great sitter she has dropped in for our four kitties for the last few years and recently started dropping in for our pups they adore her. We are very happy to have met Amanda. We will definitely book with her in the future.”

About: What sets me apart from other care givers is the level of care and attention I give every pet. I know that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I cared for my own female hound mix from the time she was just six weeks old until she passed at 16 years old. That experience taught me how to care for a dog through every stage of life - from energetic puppy years to the special patience and gentle attention senior dogs need. I'm comfortable following feeding schedules, administering care as needed, going on walks that match a dog's energy level, and making sure pets get plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. I'm dependable, communicative, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and responsible hands. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I've built my schedule to be as flexible as possible. I have availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, and I'm happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits whenever I can. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I'll do my best to work around your schedule. I also keep my calendar updated so you can book with confidence, and I'll communicate promptly if you have any questions or special requests. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care that fits seamlessly into both your routine and your pet's. I currently provide pet care in my clients' homes, where I focus on keeping your pet comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other special care your pet requires. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe while you're away, so I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and personality. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, play sessions, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I'll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keep everything clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

They are also trained to go to their room when needed. I am able to crate your dogs if needed
“Denise did a wonderful job caring for our kitty, Buster, with drop in visits over 3 days. Denise managed to get Buster to drink his water. Denise even cleaned up a little "fur-ball" accident. Buster seemed very happy. I will definitely use Denise again!”

“My first experience using Roover and Ava was very professional and very sweet. I was updated throughout the time of her dropping in on my dog Reese’s. She even made sure to there were towels to clean his feet after taking him out in the rain. Thanks again for making my first experience great!”

“Stacia was great with the initial meeting of my pups! She is gentle with them and is very loving. I’m confident that she will be a great sitter for us in the future. I’m looking forward to her caring for my babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember, friends and family, I’d be happy to go on walks and make more furry friends! I’m free every day from early morning till 4:45pm, and free also after 7pm if need be! I’m always happy to help in any way! I live in a house (renting a room) with two big dogs who mainly stay outside. If a pet absolutely needs to stay over, I will do my best to accommodate, but taking care of your pet at your home is preferred!
About: I’ve worked with an animal rescue for over 7 years as well as owning multiple pets throughout life as well as 2 of my own! I have a pet sitting business, Pawsitive Paths and have multiple references of multiple pets I have pet sat. I have my own pet sitting business, Pawsitive Paths. This is what I love to do and am so passionate about. My world revolves around my fur babies. Working at Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary and rescuing so many dogs i understand how importnant it is to have a suitable house/yard for your pets.
“Gracie was wonderful with our puppy and did an amazing job with drop-in care. She was always reliable, kept us updated, and clearly cared a lot about our pup. We felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands.”

About: I've lived with dogs since I was old enough to walk; I have learned how to take care of of them, and read behavior and body language to maintain pet safety. Pets boarding with me will be treated with all the care and attention I give my own, with supervised exercise and playtime. I have my own dog, so for the purpose of safety and comfort, a meet and greet will be necessary before any booking longer than a single night. I currently have an open schedule and can adjust to accommodate pet needs, be it evening breaks, intermittent feeding, or early wake up calls, all on most days of the week. Pets in my care will have a full, secure yard to run and play outside, and a clean, air conditioned, non-smoking home to relax and sleep in, and will be afforded the same attention and love I show my own pets.

Although this was a short booking (only 2 visits) I was very impressed with Amy. She has a very warm and caring personality and our Buster took to her immediately! She left thorough reports for each visit. I could tell that she enjoyed taking care of and spending time with Buster. We will definitely be booking Amy for future trips!

I seriously cannot recommend Allison enough! She watched my two cats while we were away, and as a cat mom with very skittish cats, I was honestly nervous leaving them. My girl cat also needed medicine during the stay, and Allison handled everything so perfectly and carefully. What meant the most to me was that BOTH of my cats actually came up to her both days she watched them! which literally never happens with new people. It was such a huge relief and says everything about how calm, patient, and kind she is with animals. She was also incredibly flexible, communicative, easy to work with, and genuinely caring the entire time. I felt so reassured knowing my cats were comfortable with her and being so well taken care of. I would absolutely trust Allison to watch them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, sweet, and amazing with pets🤍

Lauren did a fantastic job of taking care of my two cats for 8 days. They both are shy and do not come out for strangers. She came twice a day to check on them made sure they had fresh food and water. Cleaned the litter box and updated me on any odd behavior. I will definitely hire her again on my next time away from home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Murrieta. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
