About: I have lived with and cared for dogs most of my life, all of different breeds, but I am now a sole dog parent to two amazing, working breed (retired) senior dogs. I have learned so much over the years about responsible and safe care for dogs across the spectrum of ages, breeds and size. I am a business owner and a full-time pet parent, I generally have most availability throughout the week and work on the weekends. My fur children take their regular walks in the early evening, so I'm generally most available during the day and during the weekdays. I care for pets based on the preferences expressed by the client. All foundational care with a pet will always be with care, safety and treats.
“Debbie was just amazing! She sent me so many cute pictures of my babies. She got along with them great. She went above and beyond and even swept up after my messy babies! She was also very quick to reply and very attentive. :) Highly recommend! Thanks so much Debbie! ?”

“Hi Sydney, Thank you for sitting with the kids and the photo. When I get home, I’m sure Moink will tell me all about it. I enjoyed meeting and chatting with you, and look forward to you sitting for my kids going forward. Tom”

“Kimberly is kind and generous with her time! She made the Rover experience comfortable. I was excited that our fur baby would have someone genuinely interested in her wellbeing and clear on the expectations. I will definitely reach out again!”

“Heather did a great job taking care of my senior dog. She is very conscientious and clearly loves animals. She is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to welcoming her back to my home in the future!”

About: I've had many pets throughout my life, and am well-known amongst my friends for being a dog enthusiast. I have several years of experience with pet-sitting (dogs, cats, and guinea pigs too!) for neighbors and friends. I have administered oral and topical medications for sick and injured pets, and have run around with puppies until they dropped. I have a deep love for animals and would love to look after your furry friend for you! I work from 8am - 11am every weekday except Wednesday (so overnights into Wednesday work!), and from 12:00pm - 4pm Monday through Friday. I can check on and let your pet out for a potty break in between, or I can come by after my afternoon shift for a longer time and get some walking or playtime in. On Fridays I only work in the morning, so I would be available after 11am. *** Note: I will be out of the country from August 31st until September 14th and will be unable to provide services during this time. I have two dogs at home with big personalities so I provide services in client homes only. I am comfortable following your guidelines at home regarding crate usage, walks, mealtime routines, or any other services you may need.
About: Animals have been part of my life since the day I was born. Over the years I’ve cared for 12 dogs, 12 cats, birds, fish, and a bearded dragon through every stage of life, from newborn litters to senior pets. I’ve assisted with caring for pregnant dogs and cats, newborn puppies and kittens, senior pets, and animals recovering from illness or injury. I’ve given oral medications when needed, monitored pets closely, and provided patient, around the clock care while following veterinary guidance. One of my beloved companions lived to 22 years old, and another to 15, so I understand the extra patience and gentle attention senior pets deserve. While I’m not a veterinarian or professional trainer, I’m observant, calm, dependable, and committed to keeping your pet’s routine consistent. I know the importance of recognizing when something isn’t right and seeking veterinary care promptly. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own pets are part of my daily routine, so feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy are second nature to me. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care and keep their routines as consistent as possible. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn what helps each one feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal and pleasant as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (when agreed upon), and any special routines that help them feel comfortable. I’ll make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Brenda is a lifesaver! She took care of my puppy like he was her own. She kept me updated on how he was doing and sent me tons of pictures. I would definitely recommend her and plan on using her in the future”

Consider me very loving, patient and kind to your little family member and in very good hands. I've cared for and watched many friends and families' animals. I understand that every household and pet has unique needs. I believe that building trust through attentive, personalized care is the key to ensuring both pets and owners feel at ease. As a naturally patient and dedicated caregiver, I have successfully trained and house-trained my own high-energy puppy, which has strengthened my ability to handle pets of all temperaments. Animals are highly intuitive and respond to calm, positive energy—something I bring into every interaction. About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for my own dogs has taught me just how much trust goes into leaving your pet in someone else’s hands. I currently have my sweet girl Trixie, and I previously had my first dog, Fuffy, for 15 wonderful years, which gave me firsthand experience caring for a dog through every stage of life, including the senior years. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pup needs a good walk, some extra playtime, lots of belly rubs, or simply a friendly companion while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I give my own. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and take the time to help your pup feel safe and comfortable with me. 🐾❤️ I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-in visits, and plenty of playtime and attention. Having my own dog also means walks, outdoor time, and caring for a pup are already a natural part of my everyday routine. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual schedule whenever possible so they can stay comfortable and keep the routine they’re used to. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll carefully follow your instructions, routines, feeding schedules, and any house rules you provide. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their personality, boundaries, and what makes them feel most comfortable. During walks, I’ll stay attentive to our surroundings, keep your pup securely leashed, and avoid situations that could make them uncomfortable or unsafe. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they have fresh water, food when needed, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would want someone to show mine. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who will treat them like one of her own. 🐾❤️
“They are amazing, they played and cuddled our young golden 70lb and old lady 5lb dog. They quickly became great friends with our golden who is very leery of new people and especially of men. I will definitely be using them again.”

“Daphne did an incredible job! She was on time, very communicative and I knew that my dog was in great hands! She followed my instructions carefully and I will definitely use her again! I highly recommend her.”

About: I LOVE animals, especially dogs and cats. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. My mom told me from a young age that I was made to be a veterinarian. Now that I have a family of my own and 4 pets, I am offering drop ins to either feed, potty breaks or or weekly walks. I know our pets become family members but sometimes life can get busy. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
