Absolutely stellar service. I had to go out of town and Sydney came every day to walk our dog as nobody in our house was able. She showed up every day at exactly the right time, was super friendly, and took great care of our girl who immediately loved her. I can't recommend Sydney enough.

About: Animals have been part of my life since the day I was born. Over the years I’ve cared for 12 dogs, 12 cats, birds, fish, and a bearded dragon through every stage of life, from newborn litters to senior pets. I’ve assisted with caring for pregnant dogs and cats, newborn puppies and kittens, senior pets, and animals recovering from illness or injury. I’ve given oral medications when needed, monitored pets closely, and provided patient, around the clock care while following veterinary guidance. One of my beloved companions lived to 22 years old, and another to 15, so I understand the extra patience and gentle attention senior pets deserve. While I’m not a veterinarian or professional trainer, I’m observant, calm, dependable, and committed to keeping your pet’s routine consistent. I know the importance of recognizing when something isn’t right and seeking veterinary care promptly. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own pets are part of my daily routine, so feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy are second nature to me. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care and keep their routines as consistent as possible. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn what helps each one feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal and pleasant as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (when agreed upon), and any special routines that help them feel comfortable. I’ll make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I've had many pets throughout my life, and am well-known amongst my friends for being a dog enthusiast. I have several years of experience with pet-sitting (dogs, cats, and guinea pigs too!) for neighbors and friends. I have administered oral and topical medications for sick and injured pets, and have run around with puppies until they dropped. I have a deep love for animals and would love to look after your furry friend for you! I work from 8am - 11am every weekday except Wednesday (so overnights into Wednesday work!), and from 12:00pm - 4pm Monday through Friday. I can check on and let your pet out for a potty break in between, or I can come by after my afternoon shift for a longer time and get some walking or playtime in. On Fridays I only work in the morning, so I would be available after 11am. *** Note: I will be out of the country from August 31st until September 14th and will be unable to provide services during this time. I have two dogs at home with big personalities so I provide services in client homes only. I am comfortable following your guidelines at home regarding crate usage, walks, mealtime routines, or any other services you may need.

About: I love to take the dogs for a walk to a nearby wonderful large park.Lots of socializing, playing, water and food. We have large crates if necessary. I’m a stay at home mother. My youngest daughter just graduated high school and will be leaving in July for college, Air Force Academy! My husband works from home, but he travels a lot. I love to devote my time to the animals! I slowly will get them acclimated. First in the kennel or on leash. I put my two dogs out back while our new friend checks out the house and notices the cats. Then I will introduce your dog, if it’s a dog, to Millie and Eddie. If I care for the pets in the client’s home, that is fine. I have plenty of time.

About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I recently started a part time job, so I am flexible and mostly at the house. I am able to board pets starting from 5pm to 8pm and can start daycare for most days at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have a cat, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.

We currently have a 3 year old Border Collie mix and we love her so so much. She is a little shy, but she loves meeting other pups! We are passionate and ready to pamper your furry friends. ✨ Our top priority is that you and your pet feel comfortable at all times. My wife is a Work From Home HR professional so she will always be home with your sweet pet. My wife and I are both in school. About: Greetings from Pawfect Home! 🐶 🏡 If you’re new to Rover, here is a 20% discount code 😊 BRIANS71652, https://www.rover.com/sit/brians71652 I've spent my entire life caring for dogs! Some of my previous companions were a german shepherd, a pomeranian, a terrier mix, a chihuahua, and my current companion, a shihpoo named Meko. ♥️ I love dogs so much, and I take my responsibility for looking after your dog very seriously, even if it's just for a quick walk around the neighborhood. I make it a point to provide dog(s) with a warm, loving environment in my home. I've completed beginner and intermediate training, therefore I'm fully capable of caring for your dog. I'm also pleased to customize my offerings to fit your needs and those of your dog. This responsibility is my top priority. I'm incredibly devoted to dogs and believe they make the best human friends. I can't wait to meet your cherished pet. My job allows me to work from home, so in my spare time I can walk and supervise pets. I see to it that the dogs are content and at ease. My family does not have children, and we adore pets. I frequently take the dogs for walks in the morning and afternoon in addition to ensuring sure they are fed appropriately. If they haven't been potty trained, I'll use pads and allow them outside more often to reward good behavior. I will also give the dogs treats.

Thank you to Karla and her Husband. Our doggies were happy as clams. They got to go on a nice robust walk through the neighborhood. They were gentle and caring with both of our dogs. Our beagle is special needs, with super high anxiety, and Karla and her Husband made sure to be extra gentle with them. We appreciate walkers who care about our animals. Thank you kindly for being great caretakers.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
