“Debbie was the perfect choice to care for our dog, Lady. At 14 years old, she needs special supplements and sometimes pain medication, and Debbie was attentive to these needs. Debbie also helped make sure that Lady, sometimes a finicky, slow eater, was always fed. Extraordinarily responsive, Debbie checked in each day with updates, photos, and sometimes videos. Lady enjoyed ample time outdoors, and Debbie made sure to shield her from extreme heat. This was our first time boarding Lady, and we felt extremely comfortable and confident knowing she was in Debbie's care. She has a beautiful home well suited for dogs, both indoors and outdoors. Lady was very happy and I'm sure would have stayed at Debbie's longer, given the opportunity, lol. It was clear that Debbie and her family provided Lady with lots of love an attention. We would gladly board Lady at Debbie's house in the future. Bonus for us: Lady is a cocker spaniel and so is Debbie's dog; it was fun to compare notes about the breed and both dogs had a great time playing together.”

My 16yo pup has mobility issues and Karla jumped right in to give him special assistance, including using a special harness to help him walk and exercise. She was attentive to his needs. She kept in touch and sent me photos and videos. That really warmed my heart since I missed him so much! She even gave him a bath during the intense heat wave. About: Animals have always been a part of my life. From fostering all the way to volunteering at animal rehabilitation clinics, I've enjoyed every part of the journey. Along the way, I realized that my true passion is providing a home to senior dogs, especially those that are considered to need hospice care. My family and I are all animal lovers. Our home is quite lively but we have plenty of room to also provide a quiet and calm environment for your dog should that be something they are needing or simply more accustomed to. Pet care is part of daily life in our home. We have one small dog and two cats, all of which of course need care every day. We provide a loving home for pets which includes lots of cuddling, playing, feeding and access to a large fenced-in backyard. About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old so I am available to love and care for pets at any time. I am able to board pets starting from 3pm and can start daycare at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have two cats, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.

Your pet will be monitored at all times, I currently have no litters so I have open availability. I know and understand dog etiquette. Every dog has their own individual needs. I have experience with dogs with all different types of behavior such as dogs with anxiety, high drive, insecurities, etc. I will keep my dogs and your dogs separate, unless you would like them to socialize. I do kennel my dogs when needed. I have experience with working dogs so safety is my top priority. I will never put your animals or my dogs in a situation where it is not safe. I’ve had compassion for animals since I was a little girl and through the years I’ve watched not only my own animals, family members and friends animals as well and housesit for them. I also give my own fur babies their shots and medication. I’ve worked with, trained, and rescued all kinds of animals, even exotics and hybrid wolves. I am currently not working, so my schedule is pretty open. Together, we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us. I can’t wait! I like to take care of the pets in their own home so that they are more comfortable and less chance of anxiety. I also like to make sure that they are comfortable with me as well as I with them.

I provide the upmost quality care for your pet and have secured fences and enclosures. I believe enrichment should be part of any dogs care. I currently work as a manager at Epic Dog Academy part time. I work 10 minutes from home and the commute is not far. I am off 4 days out of the week. I have a full fenced yard with 6 foot or taller fences surrounding the perimeter. Dogs will sleep inside in secure crates like an impact crate or ruffland that I have provided.
