“Debbie was the perfect choice to care for our dog, Lady. At 14 years old, she needs special supplements and sometimes pain medication, and Debbie was attentive to these needs. Debbie also helped make sure that Lady, sometimes a finicky, slow eater, was always fed. Extraordinarily responsive, Debbie checked in each day with updates, photos, and sometimes videos. Lady enjoyed ample time outdoors, and Debbie made sure to shield her from extreme heat. This was our first time boarding Lady, and we felt extremely comfortable and confident knowing she was in Debbie's care. She has a beautiful home well suited for dogs, both indoors and outdoors. Lady was very happy and I'm sure would have stayed at Debbie's longer, given the opportunity, lol. It was clear that Debbie and her family provided Lady with lots of love an attention. We would gladly board Lady at Debbie's house in the future. Bonus for us: Lady is a cocker spaniel and so is Debbie's dog; it was fun to compare notes about the breed and both dogs had a great time playing together.”

Loves all dogs, cares deeply, devoted to their care, responsive, professional, kind and more. She was also able to take him in with short notice. My 16yo pup has mobility issues and Karla jumped right in to give him special assistance, including using a special harness to help him walk and exercise. She was attentive to his needs. She kept in touch and sent me photos and videos. That really warmed my heart since I missed him so much! She even gave him a bath during the intense heat wave. About: Animals have always been a part of my life. From fostering all the way to volunteering at animal rehabilitation clinics, I've enjoyed every part of the journey. Along the way, I realized that my true passion is providing a home to senior dogs, especially those that are considered to need hospice care. My family and I are all animal lovers. Our home is quite lively but we have plenty of room to also provide a quiet and calm environment for your dog should that be something they are needing or simply more accustomed to. Pet care is part of daily life in our home. We have one small dog and two cats, all of which of course need care every day. We provide a loving home for pets which includes lots of cuddling, playing, feeding and access to a large fenced-in backyard. We like to learn more about new dogs and their home environment before they enter our home so that we can ensure their safety as well as the safety of our own pets and children who will be present at the time of pet sitting and/or boarding.

About: I have gotten the pleasure to work in several different areas with dogs. From veterinary medicine to dog boarding/walking to professional dog training, I have done it almost all. I provide the upmost quality care for your pet and have secured fences and enclosures. I believe enrichment should be part of any dogs care. I currently work as a manager at Epic Dog Academy part time. I work 10 minutes from home and the commute is not far. I am off 4 days out of the week. I have a full fenced yard with 6 foot or taller fences surrounding the perimeter. Dogs will sleep inside in secure crates like an impact crate or ruffland that I have provided. If you prefer they are not crated that is allowed as well.
