“Abigail was great with my pup! She was able to watch him last minute and was even able to take in my sister’s dog last minute. She provided pictures and updates during their stay. I will definitely be requesting her services in the future :-).”

“Very professional and friendly. Took great care of our three furry babies. Made us all feel at ease being it was our pups' first time at a boarding house. Communication was great. Loved the updates and videos. Highly recommend. Will be using them again.”

“We booked kinda last minute and Brenda took our dog in. Communicating with Brenda was easy and pick-up and drop-off were no problem. While our dog was in her care she sent pics and an update to let us know everything was going well. We will definitely use Brenda's service again.”

“Estrella and her family were just perfect for my little boi. He stayed with them for 4 days and looked as happy as I had left him. Estrella was very considerate about special preferences and his personality as well. She took very good care of my little pup and ensured he felt at home. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for over 10 years and have experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve also looked after family and friends’ pets while they were away, providing dependable care, walks, feeding, playtime, attention, and a safe, loving environment. My schedule is flexible due to my hybrid 9/80 work schedule. I work from home two days a week and have every other Friday off, which allows me to provide extra attention, walks, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. On office days, I leave early in the morning and typically return home between 1–3 PM, allowing me to still provide afternoon and evening care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I live in a house with my husband and our two friendly dogs — a hairless Chihuahua mix and a pug. We have a large fenced backyard with turf, plenty of space to run around, play fetch, and safely enjoy outdoor time. I strive to provide a calm, loving, and supervised environment where pets can feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while you’re away.
“My husband and I had never used Rover before now and Briana made sure we had an excellent first experience! In the week leading up to our booking, she kept in close contact with us and made sure she knew everything she needed to make sure our dogs had the best stay possible. Both of our critters are pretty shy and anxious, and from the photos she sent us, it looks like they both had a blast! She did a great job of making sure we knew our babies were in good hands and that they had a comfortable environment to hang out in for the weekend. If you’re looking for your sitter, I would absolutely recommend her!”

“Finn is always so excited to go to Luzi’s house! He is 100% spoiled when he stays here. We have daily updates and can easily communicate with Luzi when needed. Luzi goes above and beyond to make sure Finn is comfortable and happy. Thank you!!”

“Great experience with Stephanie. Super friendly and accommodating. My senior dog Chloe (17) requires a little extra attention and I felt that Stephanie care well for her. Will return with her in the future. Thank you !!!”

“Ems was fantastic and saved me from a last-minute emergency needing a sitter for my Abbey. Abbey is six months old and full of energy, so I was very nervous about finding a sitter. Ems did a meet and greet, and Abbey got to meet their sweet dog, Roxy. I got daily updates and was assured that Abbey was in good hands, and when it was time to go, Abbey wanted to stay. I recommend Ems; she has a special touch and even got Abbey to stop jumping on people, which I loved. I will be using her again so that Abbey can hang out with Roxy because she loved it.”

“Super thankful for how well Demelia cared for my dog while I was away! The photo and video updates were such a nice touch—I could tell my fur baby was having a great time. I came back to a happy, relaxed dog. Will definitely book again.”

“Carolyn was awesome! She is very friendly, responsive and flexible with my schedule. I got pictures and updates and knew Danger was taken care of. Thank you sooo much, Carolyn! 🩷”

“Carrie and Harley provided excellent care for my black lab. Every morning I received pictures of my dog which brought me reassurance that she was well. I highly recommend them!”

“As a first time cat owner, we (my husband and I) were very unsettled about leaving her with a complete stranger. We needn't have worried. Kimberly was truly the "cat whisperer" for both my cat and us. Kimberly sent pictures communicated with us every day. We really can't thank her enough. She even trimmed Lollipop's nails!”

“Cody took to Cassandra and even her son immediately so I knew he was in great hands. Cassandra also kept me in the loop by sending me photos and progress reports, so very much appreciated. Cassandra and family, extremely trustworthy.”

“Such a wonderful experience with Sarah & Savannah! They were so welcoming, kind and supportive! Absolutely loved meeting them beforehand! My pup had such a great time with the ladies, fun with their animals and lots of walks, pets and snuggles! Absolutely will rebook in the future and recommend to others! Thank you again for the last minute collaboration!”
About: Animals have always been a part of my life. From fostering all the way to volunteering at animal rehabilitation clinics, I've enjoyed every part of the journey. Along the way, I realized that my true passion is providing a home to senior dogs, especially those that are considered to need hospice care. My family and I are all animal lovers. Our home is quite lively but we have plenty of room to also provide a quiet and calm environment for your dog should that be something they are needing or simply more accustomed to. Pet care is part of daily life in our home. We have one small dog and two cats, all of which of course need care every day. We provide a loving home for pets which includes lots of cuddling, playing, feeding and access to a large fenced-in backyard. We like to learn more about new dogs and their home environment before they enter our home so that we can ensure their safety as well as the safety of our own pets and children who will be present at the time of pet sitting and/or boarding.
“Karen is a fantastic person who loves the pups!!! She was kind, loving and exceptionally caring with Rocky and Maggie during their stay. I highly recommend Karen and will use her in the future!!!”

“Philip and his family took excellent care of my little girl. He sent videos and pictures of her when she was at his home and on their walks. I will be sending her to stay with them again. So blessed to have found someone that treats her like family.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Elsinore
I left my 5 month old Doberman with Elaiza for 4 and half days. I was super nervous leaving my girl, especially with her being a puppy. She was so good about keeping my girl on her feeding schedule. Sending me updates, and responding quickly when my nerves were getting the best of me, and I reached out for an update.

I wish I could give Karla 10 stars! Karla took excellent care of my elder pup. She is everything a doting parent could ask for. Loves all dogs, cares deeply, devoted to their care, responsive, professional, kind and more. She was also able to take him in with short notice. My 16yo pup has mobility issues and Karla jumped right in to give him special assistance, including using a special harness to help him walk and exercise. She was attentive to his needs. She kept in touch and sent me photos and videos. That really warmed my heart since I missed him so much! She even gave him a bath during the intense heat wave. She followed all instructions and totally loved on him. I'm grateful to have found Karla and you will be too! Thank you Karla for caring for my sweet pup.

Our little Pomeranian loved his stay with Estrella and her family. Estrella was very accommodating and communicative, sending us daily photos of Bowie lounging, running, smiling, sleeping, etc. That was a sweet touch that alleviated any concerns we had regarding how well our dog was adapting to his time away from home.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
