About: I’ve assisted with dog sitting alongside my mom and grandma, helping with playtime, and companionship. I’m patient, attentive, and following routines to ensure dogs feel safe and cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have flexible availability as I am unemployed and already care for my own two cats and two bearded dragons daily. I provide attentive care in peoples homes, following routines closely. As an owner of two cats and two bearded dragons, I’m experienced with safety, cleanliness, and gentle handling.
“Highly recommend Shaun! It’s clear they genuinely care about animals and took great care of our dogs while we were away for the evening. Everything went smoothly, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands!”

“Keri is lovely, trustworthy with great energy. I was able to leave town without worrying about my needy cat and Keri sent me updates and tons of pictures. I highly recommend her and will be using her again anytime I need a sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets ever since I was 12. I’ve also had experience with puppies and elderly dogs. Family and friends always rely on me to take care of their dogs while on vacation and I’d say I do a pretty good job! I am currently home for college and would love to pet sit for anyone in need of a sitter. Anytime works for me. I’d be happy to help! I usually like to give dogs a walk if they’re up for it. I give them food and make sure they’re well fed. I also give them baths on occasion!

About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I recently started a part time job, so I am flexible and mostly at the house. I am able to board pets starting from 5pm to 8pm and can start daycare for most days at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have a cat, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.

Consider me very loving, patient and kind to your little family member and in very good hands. I've cared for and watched many friends and families' animals. I understand that every household and pet has unique needs. I believe that building trust through attentive, personalized care is the key to ensuring both pets and owners feel at ease. As a naturally patient and dedicated caregiver, I have successfully trained and house-trained my own high-energy puppy, which has strengthened my ability to handle pets of all temperaments. Animals are highly intuitive and respond to calm, positive energy—something I bring into every interaction. “Carrie was great! Very conscience and caring. I have a very picky dog and she was great with her! I would definitely recommend Carrie if you want piece of mind while you’re away!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for my own dogs has taught me just how much trust goes into leaving your pet in someone else’s hands. I currently have my sweet girl Trixie, and I previously had my first dog, Fuffy, for 15 wonderful years, which gave me firsthand experience caring for a dog through every stage of life, including the senior years. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pup needs a good walk, some extra playtime, lots of belly rubs, or simply a friendly companion while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I give my own. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and take the time to help your pup feel safe and comfortable with me. 🐾❤️ I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-in visits, and plenty of playtime and attention. Having my own dog also means walks, outdoor time, and caring for a pup are already a natural part of my everyday routine. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual schedule whenever possible so they can stay comfortable and keep the routine they’re used to. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll carefully follow your instructions, routines, feeding schedules, and any house rules you provide. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their personality, boundaries, and what makes them feel most comfortable. During walks, I’ll stay attentive to our surroundings, keep your pup securely leashed, and avoid situations that could make them uncomfortable or unsafe. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they have fresh water, food when needed, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would want someone to show mine. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who will treat them like one of her own. 🐾❤️
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with plenty of experience caring for pets with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and quirks. Whether your fur baby is a professional couch potato, a four-legged tornado, or somewhere in between, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and little things that make them comfortable. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications, exercise, playtime, and, of course, plenty of attention and belly rubs. I’m also comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra patience or supervision. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while they wait for their favorite human to return. I’m currently a full-time student, but most of my classes are online, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time. This allows me to be available for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and giving your pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get the care and companionship they need while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and make sure they feel comfortable with me and their surroundings. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could create a safety concern. I also keep you updated while you’re away and am happy to send photos or check in so you know your pet is doing well. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.
About: Animals have been part of my life since the day I was born. Over the years I’ve cared for 12 dogs, 12 cats, birds, fish, and a bearded dragon through every stage of life, from newborn litters to senior pets. I’ve assisted with caring for pregnant dogs and cats, newborn puppies and kittens, senior pets, and animals recovering from illness or injury. I’ve given oral medications when needed, monitored pets closely, and provided patient, around the clock care while following veterinary guidance. One of my beloved companions lived to 22 years old, and another to 15, so I understand the extra patience and gentle attention senior pets deserve. While I’m not a veterinarian or professional trainer, I’m observant, calm, dependable, and committed to keeping your pet’s routine consistent. I know the importance of recognizing when something isn’t right and seeking veterinary care promptly. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own pets are part of my daily routine, so feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy are second nature to me. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care and keep their routines as consistent as possible. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn what helps each one feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal and pleasant as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (when agreed upon), and any special routines that help them feel comfortable. I’ll make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: Growing up my neighbors and family friends knew I adored animals and I was responsible and reliable so I always took care of their animals on summer breaks for them! I am currently a stay at home mom and I care for my 16 year old poodle mix and my 6 month old chihuahua. I have a gated court yard and backyard. I have a gated courtyard with turf grass dog friendly and two other dogs to keep your dogs company. We also have a dog park in my community that my dogs frequent and I have a crate in case this is needed for your dog for training purposes.

About: I've always had a family dog since I was born. I'm responsible and have house-sat many times over the years for friends and friends of friends. I'm currently in college, so I have evenings and early mornings available. As well as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I can stay overnight or just come by a few times a day. I focus heavily on the health and happiness of my own pets, this includes regular vet visits, choosing healthy food options, and providing enrichment (either by providing things for them to do without me, or playing with them throughout the day).
About: So i’ve dealt with dogs since I was kid. I pop in to take care of my parents dogs from time to time which is a tiny mutt and a husky. Currently I own a inu, but I do have experience with dealing with dogs of all sizes. I genuinely have a love for them. I am extremely patient and caring as well as careful. So i’m usually available most of the week to take care of dogs. I try to walk my own dog daily, and i make sure there is food and water. Generally daily walks and just basic care works for my dog, but I have taken care of other’s people’s dogs that did require more care or more attention. I’m generally a fast learner and very attentive to my dog’s needs and others.
“Daphne did an incredible job! She was on time, very communicative and I knew that my dog was in great hands! She followed my instructions carefully and I will definitely use her again! I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi there! I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and cats, and I’m patient with pets who may be shy, energetic, or need a little extra attention. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Canyon Lake
We went on a week long trip to see family and needed someone to look after our 2 cats. It was such a relief to find Lynette! She took such wonderful care of our cats (and fish!) sending me daily updates and photos. Our cats are very shy around strangers and I let Lynette know she likely would not see them when she came over….I was surprised to see they warmed right up to her! Thank you Lynette for giving us the peace of mind that our babies were well taken care of.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
