Robert was great with Blake and kept me updated with lots of photos, which really helped put me at ease. Blake is a high-energy, big puppy who doesn’t always realize his size, and Robert handled him calmly and kindly. It was clear Blake felt comfortable and cared for, and I really appreciated the communication and attentiveness. I would definitely book with him again.

Sunny always has so much fun at Nadia’s! Sunny gets so excited every time we drop her off. She loves playing with her children and is worn out when we pick her up! I love knowing that she is in good hands. I would recommend her if you are looking for a safe and reliable place for your dog to stay where it gets lots of love!

I took my goldendoodle to May for daycare. We met beforehand, which I really appreciated because I would have had a lot of anxiety handing my dog over to someone I didn’t know! May was very responsive and considerate. She asked great questions to get to know my dog and my preferences. Her home was beautiful and clean and I felt safe leaving my pup in her care. I would absolutely book again with her!

Anne was very accommodating to our dog today, making her feel relaxed since she had never been to a kennel or a daycare. Anne played ball with her and let her roam around freely as if she was at home. Thanks for taking good care of our baby today!

About: What truly sets us apart is that our home is an active, loving environment where your dog becomes a temporary member of our family. Because we are a full household with both parents and kids present, your pet will receive constant supervision, socialization, and "round-the-clock" affection. Because we are a full household with parents and kids always present, pet care isn’t just a task to check off—it’s part of our daily routine. Your dog is never an "afterthought"; they are a guest companion in everything we do. Morning: Wake Up & Move We start the day early with a potty break and breakfast. Since we are home in the mornings, this is usually our prime time for a neighborhood walk or some backyard play to get moving and motivated. Mid-Day: While we go about our daily activities, your dog has the freedom to roam the backyard or nap at our feet. There is no "mid-day lull" here because someone is always around to offer a head scratch, fresh bowl of water, or even a quick game of fetch in the yard. Afternoon: When the kids are done with school, the house is full of life! This is great for social dogs who love interaction. We make sure there is a balance of structured play and quiet downtime, ensuring your pet feels included, but never overwhelmed. Evening: Evenings are for relaxing. After dinner and a final walk, we settle in the living room for some reading and bedtime routine. We end the night with a final potty break to ensure a restful sleep for everyone. We treat your dog exactly how we’d want our own to be treated. Our home is set up to be a "yes" space—where dogs can feel relaxed, secure, and part of the action. Supervision & Safety: With a full house of parents and kids, your dog is under constant eyes-on supervision. We use baby gates or designated zones if a dog needs a "quiet break" or during meal times to ensure a peaceful eating environment. Sleeping Arrangements: We are flexible! Whether your pup prefers a crate, their own dog bed, or snuggling on a rug near us, we make sure they have a cozy, dedicated spot to dream. Outdoor Fun: We have a [mention if it's fenced] yard where we play multiple times a day. We always accompany the dogs outside to ensure they are safe and having fun. Kid-Dog Harmony: Our children are taught how to interact gently and respectfully with animals. We prioritize "low-stress" interactions, ensuring the dog always has the choice to engage in play or retreat to a quiet corner for a nap. Customized Care: We strictly follow your specific instructions for feeding schedules, medication, and any "no-go" behaviors (like jumping or being on furniture) to keep their training consistent.

About: I love to take the dogs for a walk to a nearby wonderful large park.Lots of socializing, playing, water and food. We have large crates if necessary. I’m a stay at home mother. My youngest daughter just graduated high school and will be leaving in July for college, Air Force Academy! My husband works from home, but he travels a lot. I love to devote my time to the animals! I slowly will get them acclimated. First in the kennel or on leash. I put my two dogs out back while our new friend checks out the house and notices the cats. Then I will introduce your dog, if it’s a dog, to Millie and Eddie. If I care for the pets in the client’s home, that is fine. I have plenty of time.

About: Hi my names Amber and I am a full time student who just moved to Temecula for my clinical rotation I am just now reactivating my rover account for some extra income. All pricing is negotiable, just trying to make some extra money as I’m currently only working twice a week and my boyfriend works from home so someone is always with the animals we care for during the week. I’ve done rover before and Love all animals and would love to care for yours like my own. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions :) and check out my reviews from the past. My dog pixie the little Chihuahua in my photos has unfortunately passed away aftee 15 years but my 7 year old corgi Roxy sure would LOVE the company. I currently work as a server and my shifts are usually only 4-5 hours long. Other than that I’m a home body who loves her shows and my boyfriend who will also be helping works from home. So someone is always with the pets. We will definitely have time for cuddles and naps or walks and playtime depending on what your dog or cat likes to do. I have no problem bathing walking playing or just hanging out. Whatever your dogs needs are.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Murrieta

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Murrieta on Rover is $38.85 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,259 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Murrieta. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Murrieta commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,259 sitters in Murrieta, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
