About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. And opening up our home to do that for others is an honor. I’ve attached some photos of Target, our 1st family dog. Looking at these older photos is such a trip! Blast from the past if you will. My Dad is now retired from the USMC and has a service dog jack, who is pictured above. He loves to play with other dogs and is very friendly. Hope you meet you and your pet soon! About: Since I was just a kid, I have taken care of all sorts of dogs ranging in size and age. A lot of these have been family pets but I always make sure to respect boundaries when and if given by the animals. I maintain the comfort of the dogs and make that my priority! I'm currently a college student with all of my classes being strictly online, so I do spend a lot of time at home. I have majority of my day holding free time and I can easily fit the care of any pets alongside my schooling! I make sure to always stick by a schedule if provided. I know that animals usually have a specific feeding routine and they will let you know if you steer off of that path; I would hate to make any animals upset. For example, the cats in my home are used to being fed at night so I make sure to respect that as they will also expect food at that time.
