About: I have been working in pet care most of my life! I have always watched family friends and neighbors pets from reptiles to horses dogs to cats hamsters birds and so many more! I have worked in a dog shelter for 4 years! About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

I have a knack for connecting with even the most bashful and a knack for keeping up with the most rowdy. I have experience with many different breeds of many different ages, this includes animals with disabilities or special needs. I also have a 2 year old energetic Doberman / French Bulldog named Deuce! I am doing dog walking as means to supplement my family’s income doing something I love while I attend nursing school. Over the summer (June to August) I have free availability Monday-Wed, Fridays, & Sundays. Thursdays and Saturdays I work 12 hour shifts, but can arrange flexible pet care for your furry child w/ the help of my sister-in-law who has over 9 years experience caring for puppies and dogs. I have a very friendly dog named Deuce that we walk at least twice a day, 30 min each time. My dog is 9 yrs old and my cat is 2 so plenty of experience to show your pet the same care as if they were my own family! I am currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule to walk and care for your pet including weekends if need be. I understand vacations come up or you need someone to check in during the day while you're at work so I have the flexibility to work with you. I personally prefer my pets to be in the comfort of my own home so coming in to check in or walk your pet is super doable for me so they can be comfortable and safe in their own environment.
