“It was another HOT, HOT, HOT 🥵 day and another FUN, FUN, FUN 😁 walk and outing for our Fur Babies! Amanda does such a wonderful job with the Pups, especially being mindful to keep them safe, well-hydrated, and protected from the sun as much as possible. She graciously modified her routes to adjust to the hot weather and the Pups came back HOT, but still happy as heck which leads to tired and quiet Pups (for a time) too! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks again Amanda, always giving us peace of mind that our precious Babies are in VERY GOOD and VERY CAPABLE hands! 💛”

“Ako is an amazing dog walker. She always updates you when she’s with your dog and sends lots of pictures! She absolutely goes above and beyond for her clients and takes care of your pet like they’re her own. I would highly recommend Ako to others.”

“Angeline is amazing! She is so sweet and I appreciate her taking time out on Thanksgiving to walk my dog. I felt at ease knowing my dog was getting a much needed walk and lots of love and attention. I will definitely be a repeat customer next time I take a vacation. Thank you so much!!!!”

About: Hi! I’m Arielle! I am a college student majoring in psychology. I’ve always had a love for animals and currently have two dogs of my own. Through pet-sitting for family and neighbors, I’ve gained experience providing loving care to pets. I understand that pets are family, and I will treat your pets with the same kindness, patience, and care that I give my own pets. My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am able to provide basic needs such as feeding, playing, walking and picking up after your pet. I’m experienced with small-medium dogs, cats, and senior pets. During my visit, I can check in on exotic pets, pocket pets, fish, and also your plants! Let me know if your pets have any special needs, diet restrictions, behavioral or health related. What your house rules for me and your pets, and what your emergency plan is. A meet and greet is always a must, please ask for a first time Rover booking discount if you are new to Rover. Can’t wait to meet your happy pets 🩵 Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and can consistently provide pets with feeding, walks, exercise, and attention throughout the day I provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment by following each pet’s routine, ensuring they have food, water, exercise, and attention, and carefully following all owner instructions. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable and secure while in my care.

About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.
About: I am a dog and cat mom myself so I know the love and attention that goes into your furbaby! My dog is 9 yrs old and my cat is 2 so plenty of experience to show your pet the same care as if they were my own family! I am currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule to walk and care for your pet including weekends if need be. I understand vacations come up or you need someone to check in during the day while you're at work so I have the flexibility to work with you. I personally prefer my pets to be in the comfort of my own home so coming in to check in or walk your pet is super doable for me so they can be comfortable and safe in their own environment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
