About: I've always had a special communication with animals and being able to spend time with them has always made me happy, and that's what I plan to do for my career. I am a student and athlete at the moment, and I don't have time to get a job with practice and loads of homework so taking care of pets helps me raise some money and still stick to my priorities. I take care of pets just like they are precious babies, I give them all the love they want, always make sure they are happy, and well taken care of.

“I cannot express in words how amazing Andrea is! She goes above and beyond! Our eldest dog has some aniexty issues and is very picky with whom he will confide in and he loves Andrea! She truely takes perfect care of our furry guys and treats them as they were her own! She is very detail oriented and gives multiple updates so you don’t worry one bit! She cleaned up all the messes our trouble maker puppy made and we came home to a clean and put together home! I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!”

About: I have worked for two dog trainers walking and assisting in training their clients dogs both sport dog breeds and pet dog breeds. I am specialized with high energy dogs, anxious dogs, and puppies. I especially am okay with working with young puppies including ones who are not vaccinated and may need more careful care. I will go above and beyond to ensure your dog is fulfilled when in my care. I have availability for both walking, sitting, and boarding throughout the week. I have a WFH job so it is easy for me to accommodate my schedule for your dogs needs. I am very keen on structure, routine, and fulfillment when caring for pets. I will ensure your pet is separated from other pets at all times unless they get along with my dog/cats and safety measures will be taken when walking and boarding.
About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I helped care for my family's Cocker Spaniel, which involved feeding, walking, bathing, cleaning up after him, and ensuring he received plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime. I have also cared for dogs belonging to family members, including dog sitting and providing daily care while they were away. In addition to my personal experience with dogs, I earned a degree in Wildlife Ecology from Cal Poly Humboldt and have experience working with animals through wildlife fieldwork and ecological monitoring projects. My background has taught me to pay close attention to animal behavior, remain calm in different situations, and prioritize animal safety and well-being. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I enjoy getting to know each animal's individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, active play, or simply spending time with someone they trust, I am committed to providing attentive and reliable care while you're away. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for regular visits, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for. Our family's Cocker Spaniel was a beloved companion who was loved until his very last day. After losing him a few months ago, I realized how much I miss spending time with dogs and caring for them. I'm excited to meet new furry friends and will make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and personalized care while they're with me.

About: I have been a dog lover all my life. Growing up with dogs and later raising my own yellow lab for 12 wonderful years, I gained invaluable experience, especially when she became elderly and sick in her final years. Since saying goodbye to her four years ago, my family and I decided to focus on raising our children. However, through my experience with dog walking and boarding, we recently adopted a mixed-breed mutt named Penny, who weighs about 25 pounds, and we love her dearly. In addition to providing loving care, I offer a variety of enrichment activities to ensure your pet is happy and engaged, including: - Peanut butter Kongs or frozen fruit/veggie bowls for an additional $20 - Walks at $10 per walk - Baths starting at $30+, depending on the size of the dog Whether your pet needs companionship, exercise, or extra attention, I’m here to make sure they feel right at home. Looking forward to meeting your fur baby! --- Let me know if you’d like any further changes! I’m currently a stay at home mom with my two oldest in school and my toddler at home with me. We have plenty of time during the day to visit and care for your dog. We also do weekend boarding since we are in town for extracurricular activities. I have a fenced in yard that your pet will have full access to. I also have the ability to kennel your dog in or outside. We have a downstairs bedroom that we allow the pets to get comfortable in. Our 3 children are very good with pets and get excited to play and care for them as well.

I have an open schedule Monday - Friday to take care of your pups during your busy work week! My schedule is very flexible but I am often gone on the weekends for work! “Our dog, King, loves Jo. She even gets King to pose for photos. That’s something that we’ve never been good at. And we can see how happy King is in every photo. When my wife met Jo she was able to see how much King loved Jo. We are grateful that Jo can walk King while we are at work.”

About: Hi there! I recently moved here from a farm town in Oregon, where I grew up surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. Having lived on a farm with everything from horses and cows to emus and chickens, I developed a deep comfort level and respect for animals early on. I’ve personally owned six dogs and three cats, so I understand the unique personalities and needs of different breeds. Beyond my own pets, I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends, coworkers, and managers for years. Whether your pet is a high energy pup or a shy cat, I pride myself on providing a calm, reliable, and loving environment. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I am currently transitioning between roles, which means my schedule is wide open! Pet care is my primary focus right now, allowing me to provide full-time companionship, frequent walks, and a consistent routine for your fur baby. Whether they need a midday potty break or extra cuddles throughout the day, I’m available to give them my undivided attention. When I’m in my client’s home I love to focus on 'active supervision.' This means we aren't just sitting around; we’re engaging in enrichment, going for walks, and ensuring they get the mental stimulation they need. I am also very comfortable administering medications or following complex dietary instructions, ensuring your pet’s health is the top priority. I also don’t mind doing little things around the house, whether that be bringing in mail or watering plants, happy to help! (:

About: Hello, Thank you for stopping by my page. I’ve been around pets my whole life and enjoy being around them. I do have a little experience in working with animals as I would take care of my families pets and they trusted them with me every time. I was a teacher and worked with children in a variety of capacities, so I have passed one of the strictest background checks. I have an Associate degree in early childhood hood education and worked with kids for 7+ years. I am a wife and a mom of 2 boys. I have a 7 year old son and a 2 year old son. I enjoy being a mother and a wife. I don’t have much work experience with animals as I do with children but you can trust that I would care for your animals as I would a child. They would be in safe hands and well taken care of. Thank you for visiting my page and I hope you could trust me to look after your pets. I’m currently home while my little ones are in school so I would do this part time. I would be able from 9am to 3pm when I’m kids get out of school. I have a patio for smaller dogs but not a yard for bigger dogs. I would take the bigger dogs as well as the smaller dogs on multiple walks so they have a chance to be outside. If too hot I will have the pets inside with me with AC on as well as offer water often.

We had such a wonderful experience with Monica! She took amazing care of Louie, and gave us complete peace of mind while he was in her hands. Louie came back happy, relaxed, and clearly loved his time with her. Monica is reliable, kind, and full of positive energy—you can tell she truly loves what she does. It’s not easy to trust someone else with your pet, but she instantly put us at ease. We would absolutely recommend Monica to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and fun. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
