Anthony jumped into action when we needed a last minute dog walker when going out of town. He was very communicative and clearly enjoyed the time with our pup. Looking forward to booking him again and knowing Finley is in good hands!

About: Hi there! I recently moved here from a farm town in Oregon, where I grew up surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. Having lived on a farm with everything from horses and cows to emus and chickens, I developed a deep comfort level and respect for animals early on. I’ve personally owned six dogs and three cats, so I understand the unique personalities and needs of different breeds. Beyond my own pets, I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends, coworkers, and managers for years. Whether your pet is a high energy pup or a shy cat, I pride myself on providing a calm, reliable, and loving environment. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I am currently transitioning between roles, which means my schedule is wide open! Pet care is my primary focus right now, allowing me to provide full-time companionship, frequent walks, and a consistent routine for your fur baby. Whether they need a midday potty break or extra cuddles throughout the day, I’m available to give them my undivided attention. When I’m in my client’s home I love to focus on 'active supervision.' This means we aren't just sitting around; we’re engaging in enrichment, going for walks, and ensuring they get the mental stimulation they need. I am also very comfortable administering medications or following complex dietary instructions, ensuring your pet’s health is the top priority. I also don’t mind doing little things around the house, whether that be bringing in mail or watering plants, happy to help! (:

About: I’m definitely an animal person, I’ve had many pets throughout my life. I’d love to take care of any of your little ones!! or multiple! I’m available to work pretty much all the time i’m home a lot, and I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. so just let me know what you need! I live in an apartment so I can’t have any pets to take back but if you need me to watch your pet while you’re away or simply doesn’t need a babysitter I’m there. I’m okay with putting them away in crates if that’s what you prefer or I’m okay to simply watching them.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and genuinely don’t remember a time when animals weren’t part of my life! I started house-sitting for fellow military families when I was 16, which taught me early on how important it is to respect routines, homes, and the deep trust people place in someone caring for their pets 🫶🏼 I’m a sensitive, intuitive, and I pay close attention to each animal’s cues. I’m especially gentle with pets who need time to warm up, prefer their space at first, or experience separation anxiety. I’m happy to meet animals where they are, whether that’s instant best-friend energy or a slow, steady build of trust. I’ve cared for pets across all life stages, from puppies to senior pets who need extra patience, structure, and care. One of my closest friends is a certified dog trainer, and I’ve learned a lot through him (and his dog) about behavior, communication, and creating calm, consistent environments for dogs. I’d love to be a steady, loving presence so your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away! I am currently working remotely and have a very flexible schedule, for both weekdays and weekends! I do have a few delivery hours on certain days where I’m out and about, but I should be more than able to work around your and your pet’s schedules! It’s so important for both you and your pets to feel your space is respected. I’m very careful with details and keep notes to keep your home safe, clean, and honored 🙏🏼

I'm reliable, highly responsive, and believe communication is key. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages while following your pet's routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for all breeds and sizes since I was 8. I currently have a 2-year-old German Shepherd (Odin) and a 4-year-old Siberian Husky (Loki). I’ve also raised dogs into their senior years. Beyond my own dogs, I’ve helped care for family and friends’ pets of all ages and temperaments. I truly understand the stress and pressure of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to watch over your fur babies, so I will treat your best friend with the same love, attention, and care as I give my own. Whether your pup needs walks, playtime, or extra love, I’ll make sure they are happy, safe, and feel like part of the family. Since I work from home with flexible hours, I can structure my day to include walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles. I can adapt to each dog’s routine, ensuring consistent attention every day of the week. In a client’s home and outsideI believe to follow and respect all the rules and guidelines given to me by pet parents! Unfortunately I will not be able to offer boarding services in my home at this time due to space limitations and pups at home.

About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life! I have experience caring for multiple types of animals including dogs, cats, bunnies, and fish, and all of my own animals have lived (or are living) happy, healthy, long lives. In fact, my bunny recently passed away at 14 years old and was the oldest domestic rabbit our vet had ever met! We currently have a 5 year old cat, a 15 year old dog, and fish. Whether your pet gets along with other animals or not, we are able to accommodate your pet's needs. I know how tricky it can be to find pet care, whether every now and then or on a regular basis, and I am happy to offer my services on Rover! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I am able to meet your scheduling needs. I do not usually travel very much throughout the year, except for a week or two over the summer, so I am available almost year-round, including over the holidays. We have a fenced in yard, along with multiple doggy doors - one from the house to a fenced-in dog run and one from the garage to the main back yard. Both of these can be closed, so your pet only has access to them if you want them to. We also are able to set up our home to separate your pet from our pets, if you are worried they won't get along, giving all animals plenty of space to live comfortably. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I take utmost care to make sure your pet has what they need and is safe. I always check and double-check doors, windows, and gates that should be closed are closed and locked, so your pet can't escape while you are gone. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet home while you are out, and I want to make it as easy for you as possible!

About: I first started with my neighbors dogs when I lived with my parents. They were small dogs, Zeke and Zach, and I walked them everyday as well as fed them, too. I have also walked my cousins dog, Murphy. I'm 27 years old who graduated highschool in June of 2017 and loves animals and connect with them instantly. I love animals as if they are my very own and I make sure they have plenty of potty breaks and love. I mainly want to do this for the animals and the parents/owners. Plus, I'm really flexible with my schedule. I don't have any preferences on breeds since I love animals in general. I'm very active outside and inside but I'm lazy at times to when needed. I am also studying to become a veterinary assistant then a veterinarian. I have a son born in December of 2022 but I can still help take care of your fur babies as I'm still really flexible. I live in a house but it’s not mine so I’d have to watch the pets in your home. I have other animals in the home as well.

About: ✨ Greetings, and welcome! I’m Eucalyptus—your Fur Godmother. 🧚🏽‍♀️🐾 Animals have been the greatest joy of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past 8 years I’ve had the privilege of providing professional pet care for families who trust me with their beloved companions. About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was a little girl — my first pup, Coco, came into my life when I was 10 and sparked my love for animals. Since then, I’ve spent over 12 years helping families in my community with their fur babies. I truly adore all animals and love creating a calm, loving, and safe environment where pups feel at home, supported, and understood. Tail wags, walks, cuddles, and making pets feel their happiest — that’s my favorite part of what I do! 🐶✨ With part-time nannying and online school, I have a calm & flexible routine that gives me plenty of time for long walks, potty breaks, cuddle sessions, and making sure your pups feel safe and happy 🤍🐾 I always care for pets based on their normal routine — your pup’s comfort and sense of security matter most. I make sure their feeding schedule, potty breaks, walk times, and cozy rest moments stay consistent, so they feel right at home with me. My goal is to create a safe, stable, and loving space where they feel relaxed, understood, and happy. 🤍🐾

About: I can provide any service you are looking for! I got it all. I provide exercise for clients' dogs (usually in half-hour or one-hour increments). ... Check dogs' food and water supply to make sure basic needs are met after walks. Notify owners and pursue veterinary attention for any dog that becomes sick or injured under their supervision. Give companionship to dogs and watch over them. I can also help train any puppies if they are in the process of learning on request. I will provide so much care and love to your pets that they will be sad when I have to leave. This past year has been the busiest for me with clients; I have watched over 30 different dogs just this summer. I am currently trying to start up my own business & I am constantly sitting on my electronic for most of the day. I enjoy caring for the dogs because they get me to take a step away from my work & be present with the dog. They encourage me to take those healthy breaks from work & gain a new perspective by being around happy, loving dogs. In my home they will usually go along with my dogs regular routine. Park twice a day, playtime in the backyard, walk around the neighborhood, & major cuddles. At the clients house I try to stay to your normal routine as much as I can. I typically like going to a park or trail once a day.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your South Park. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in South Park.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in South Park. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
