About: I am open to all animals! I have my own animals, including a reptile. I’ve had to administer shots to my gecko for her care and syringe feed her. I frequently dog sit for my neighbors! I am currently working part time, so I have more time for furry friends! I typically work 11-2 or 4-8! My schedule is not very consistent. Other new pets aren’t going to be able to go to my house due to a busy kid-full environment. However, in my clients home, I will constantly being socializing with your animal baby :)
“Anthony was amazing! He followed all of my detailed instructions for feeding, meds, eyedrops, and keeping things tidy. He is very detailed oriented and communicative. I received lots of pictures which kept me content. I will definitely use him again. 😁”

“Once again, Monica saved the day! I had a last minute request, and she was so helpful and accommodating. She gives me such peace of mind, and she checks in with me in real-time with photos of my very happy Tango! Having a dog with diabetes makes is very difficult to leave town last minute, and I’m so thankful for Monica and Rover!”

“Jenny did a great job treating nova like a VIP! She went above and beyond by taking her out for a walk. And making sure she played her little heart out. When I came home, nova was happy and content, which is everything I was hoping for.”

About: I've had personal experience taking care of dogs since my family got our first dog more than 7 years ago. I am committed to adapting to different circumstances and routines in order to best care for your pet. I haven't found consistent work just yet, so I'm often available and care deeply for animals. I've had experience owning dogs with my family for over 7 years now, my dogs are part of the family and it's a privilege to get to know other pets and care for them as I do my own. I have a fenced-in yard and two sociable doggies who love getting to know new animals. I was previously providing doggy daycare services and had a positive experience, however I'd like to try services outside of my own home and see if that might be an even better fit for me.

About: I don't just love dogs; I know how to take care of them responsibly. As much as working with animals is enjoyable and fun for me, I am aware of the responsibility and skill level required to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your dog (or cat). I also know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members behind with a new person, so I'd love to reassure you with daily texts and photos of how our visit is going. I'm a former animal care professional with experience as a vet tech, pet store assistant manager, and groomer, and truly have an interest in the health and well being of your pet. I'm the type of person that double checks and will pay attention to the small details in your pet's behavior and appearance. And of course, I absolutely love dogs. My favorite thing about them is their ability to break up the seriousness of a moment by being absolutely silly! I've had the chance to meet dogs of all types and temperaments, and am comfortable walking energetic, leash aggressive, or nervous dogs. I understand how important exercise and quality time are in making your pup happy. My resume and references are always available upon request. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to be at home with your fur baby. My hours are flexible and we can work on setting up a schedule specific to your pets’ needs. I mainly care for pets in your home, using guidelines you provide me with. I’m open to boarding requests but do not currently offer this service on short notice.
About: Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kaylee and I’ve been a professional pet sitter for about 5 years now. Over the course of those 5 years I’ve cared for all of the following animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, hamsters, rabbits and horses. I’m in college getting an animal science degree and I’ve worked with a wide age range of animals. From puppies all the way to senior dogs and kittens all the way to elderly cats. *please know that while my listed prices are accurate additional surcharges may apply. (All prices will be disclosed before booking) I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).
About: I have been around dogs all my life and have a deep love for them. I have also volunteered at an animal rescue for 2 years taking care of farm animals as well as helping a foster family while they were out of town by taking care of their 7 rescue puppies and giving them medication for ring worm. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since i have a flexible schedule! I plan my day around my bookings to make sure every pet receives the attention. care, and time they deserve. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, or just spending quality time together. I’m committed to making each visit a positive experience☺️ Your pets safety, comfort, and well being are always my top priorities. I take the time to follow your pets routine and any care instructions you provide, including feeding, potty breaks, and exercise. I respect your home as if it were my own and always make sure doors and gates are secure before leaving. I’ll also send regular photo updates and messages so you can have piece of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for!
About: If you want your dog to get some exercise you’ve reached the right gal! Currently working on becoming a dietician. I have experience pet sitting my friends’ Great Dane and walking family pets. Received my Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and understand the complexities of the brain (including most animals). I love pets and will care for yours like my own family (have 33 first cousins). Most babies, kids, and animals like me without knowing me (the ultimate background check). My record/background is squeaky sterile, aside from a speeding ticket. Rest assured, I will keep your dog active, and mentally stimulated while you are away. I want to make the world a better place and I will start with the smallest of creatures. I am able to work with your pet as part of my exercise routine. I am a student and have the flexibility to pick when I can walk or sit a pup. I will treat your pet like an extension of my family. After all they are a cherished part of your family and will be part of mine.
About: I've taken care of dogs from puppies to seniors- pup pads, play time & medications all come second nature to me. Your dogs will feel all the love in my home with their unique needs met. I'm a stay at home mom with plenty of time to watch and play with your fur babies. Dogs are not left long without company. I have a gated backyard. Dogs are able to sleep comfortably in dog beds, on a blanketed couch or in a crate if preferred by owner. I like to provide an environment most similar to home for comfort. At this time I am only accepting a max of 2 dogs at a time making it easy to give them the attention they crave.

About: Greetings, and welcome! I’m Eucalyptus your Fur Baby Godmother. Animals have been the greatest joy of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past 8 years I’ve had the privilege of providing professional pet care for families who trust me with their beloved companions. My experience includes dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits, ferrets, farm animals, aquatic pets, and many other exotic species. I’ve also cared for senior pets, puppies and kittens, pets with special needs, and animals that require extra patience, medication, or individualized attention. What makes me different is the connection I build with each animal. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and way of communicating. I take the time to earn their trust, making sure they feel safe, understood, and genuinely loved while you’re away. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, anxious, or simply enjoys quiet company, I tailor my care to what makes them happiest. Over the years I’ve helped reinforce good manners, redirect unwanted behaviors through positive interactions, and create calm, enriching experiences that help pets feel comfortable in their own environment. Pet care isn’t just something I do it’s my full-time passion. When your furry, feathered, or scaly family member is with me, they’re treated like one of my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your best friend is receiving dependable, compassionate, one-on-one care. I offer pet sitting, house sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and extended stays, making me a great fit for vacations, business trips, weekend getaways, or whenever your pet simply deserves a loving companion. I can’t wait to meet you and your wonderful animal family. Until then, may your pets be happy, your travels be worry-free, and a little Fur Baby Godmother magic follow you wherever you go. My schedule is pretty open because caring for pets is what I genuinely enjoy doing. I tend to have a little more flexibility than the average person, so I’m usually able to work around different routines whether that means an early-morning drop-in, a spontaneous trip, a last-minute change of plans, or a cozy little sleepover. I like having the time to actually be there with the pets I care for. Not just stopping by, checking a box, and rushing off. I enjoy the little things getting to know their personalities, following their routines, giving them attention, and letting them feel like they have a little vacation of their own while their humans are away. So if your fur baby needs someone with a flexible schedule, a calm presence, and plenty of time for cuddles, playtime, or simply keeping them company… you may have found your person. I’ve always felt like animals have their own little language, and I genuinely enjoy learning their way of communicating. When a pet comes into my care, I like to meet them where they are. Some babies need structure and routine, some need a little extra patience, and others simply want someone to sit beside them while they decide you’re their new best friend. I follow the routines and care instructions their humans have created for them whether that means crate time, potty training, medication routines, playtime, socializing, quiet time, or plenty of cuddles. Their comfort and safety always come first. I’m also someone who naturally spends a lot of time outdoors, so I love having little adventures with my animal companions walks, fresh air, exploring, sunbathing, or just sitting outside together and watching the world go by. And my definition of a “pet” has never been limited to cats and dogs. I’ve cared for animals of all different personalities, sizes, ages, and species, including exotic pets. I find their little quirks fascinating and enjoy giving each animal the kind of care that makes sense for them. If your baby happens to enjoy a bubble bath, treats, an afternoon adventure, or an unreasonable amount of affection… well, they may have just found their favorite babysitter. I’ve jokingly been called the female version of Dr. Dolittle. I’ll take it. Really, I think animals simply know when someone genuinely enjoys being around them. And I’m very happy to be living in their world. Overnight stays are always welcome, too.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
