“I really appreciate how Malissa took care of my little baby. I live in CT and had traveled to Murrietta , CA to visit my son and family. However, A month after my arrival date I took a bad fall and broke my right shoulder bone. Although I was injured, I had paid for a tournament months before my visit and was not planning on losing my money or missing the event. After checking out sitters recommended by family, I was not satisfied and decided to check out ROVER which I had used in CT in the past. I found Malissa and the rest is history. She was able to come to me and pick and drop off my little fur baby which I really appreciated because I was unable to drive nor was family around to do so. On top of that she followed all my instructions as it related to feeding and walking my pup. He home was NOT overcrowded with dogs as I have noticed with some sitters. Diego seemed very happy upon returning to me. She sent picture when requested and kept me up to date on his daily activities. About: I’ve done animal boarding and in house daycare. I’ve mostly done doggy boarding. I’ve helped take care of small dogs but I can help with big dogs. I’m a part time student so I can fit pet care into my schedule fairly easily. I’m mostly available during weekdays but can make exceptions when needed I live in an apartment. It has a dog park and yards around for dogs to play. Theres also parks nearby that we can walk or drive to as needed.

“Today was our first day with Tina, and we will be back! Tina took care of my 10 year old miniature, paralyzed dachshund. She uses a wheelchair, wears a diaper and requires constant supervision. It is tough to find a person willing to care for an animal with such high needs; it's even more difficult to find someone who does so with such love and gentleness. When my husband and I met Tina and her family for the first time, we were instantly drawn in by each of their genuine and kind characters. Tina was immediately interested in caring for Tootsie, which came as a complete shock and welcome surprise to us. Tina sent me numerous photos today; I felt like I was with Tootsie all day, even though we were apart for 12 hours. It appears as though Tina catered to Tootsie the entire day, tending to her every need, just like the princess that she is :) This family is warm and their home is inviting, clean and dog-friendly. I have zero qualms about using Tina in the future. Tootsie sleeps A LOT, and it isn't so much about having someone keep her entertained for every minute of every hour; it's more so about having a person that I feel completely comfortable with and that can "look out" for her throughout the day. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

I have experience caring for multiple types of animals including dogs, cats, bunnies, and fish, and all of my own animals have lived (or are living) happy, healthy, long lives. In fact, my bunny recently passed away at 14 years old and was the oldest domestic rabbit our vet had ever met! We currently have a 5 year old cat, a 15 year old dog, and fish. Whether your pet gets along with other animals or not, we are able to accommodate your pet's needs. I know how tricky it can be to find pet care, whether every now and then or on a regular basis, and I am happy to offer my services on Rover! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I am able to meet your scheduling needs. I do not usually travel very much throughout the year, except for a week or two over the summer, so I am available almost year-round, including over the holidays. We have a fenced in yard, along with multiple doggy doors - one from the house to a fenced-in dog run and one from the garage to the main back yard. Both of these can be closed, so your pet only has access to them if you want them to. We also are able to set up our home to separate your pet from our pets, if you are worried they won't get along, giving all animals plenty of space to live comfortably. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I take utmost care to make sure your pet has what they need and is safe. I always check and double-check doors, windows, and gates that should be closed are closed and locked, so your pet can't escape while you are gone. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet home while you are out, and I want to make it as easy for you as possible!

“I really appreciate how Malissa took care of my little baby. I live in CT and had traveled to Murrietta , CA to visit my son and family. However, A month after my arrival date I took a bad fall and broke my right shoulder bone. Although I was injured, I had paid for a tournament months before my visit and was not planning on losing my money or missing the event. After checking out sitters recommended by family, I was not satisfied and decided to check out ROVER which I had used in CT in the past. I found Malissa and the rest is history. She was able to come to me and pick and drop off my little fur baby which I really appreciated because I was unable to drive nor was family around to do so. On top of that she followed all my instructions as it related to feeding and walking my pup. He home was NOT overcrowded with dogs as I have noticed with some sitters. Diego seemed very happy upon returning to me. She sent picture when requested and kept me up to date on his daily activities. But soon I found that my worries were not needed at all. They sent me many pictures and videos daily.
