About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life! I grew up with small and medium breeds, and as an adult I have medium shepherd-husky mix. I’ve also pet sat for large breeds like labs. Raising my current pup has deepened my training skills—she’s worked with multiple trainers, and I’ve learned a lot about teaching basic commands and creating a calm, positive environment for dogs of all ages. I treat every dog like family and work hard to make sure they feel safe, loved, and stress free. I currently work full time M-F. So I am free to board to drop in on weekends. During the summer, I am very free/flexible every day to board or drop in. For my boarding clients, I have a fully fenced yard with grass to run around in. I have a multiple sized crates, pens or cozy bed for each pup. I do have elementary school children who are really good with dogs. I do not have any cats or other pets besides our pup.

About: I make it a priority to make these dogs feel like they are at home. I will make sure they are well played, well exercised, and most importantly, well fed! I work with children on the spectrum five days a week. My schedule varies, but I’m only gone for no longer than four hours at a time. I have my mother who works from home who will gladly help with taking the dogs out to go potty! I make sure they are comfortable, I will ensure that all doors are shut and all times to make sure that there’s no chances of any pets escaping! (All prices will be disclosed before booking) I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

I own two large dogs that are well socialized at the nearby dog park. I’m stronger than most making walking big dogs much more manageable. “Tammi’s the best! We have a Malinois that we needed help with. Our girl, Nymeria, can be a handful as a high energy, high drive pup. It’s pretty tough to find someone who understands her and we feel we got lucky finding Tammi. She did some training with her and helped us address behavioral issues. She communicates very well with us and is happy to answer any questions. We’ve definitely noticed the progress in Nymeria when it comes to jumping on people, waiting for direction, and how to behave/play with other dogs. She also loves playing with Tammis pup Ollie and usually comes home very tired. We’re definitely going to continue to book with Tammi.”
