About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have enjoyed caring for pets my whole life. I had my sweet girl Stella, a pug, for 13 years. I crate, potty, and recall trained her as a puppy, fed her a balanced diet of vitamins and homemade food throughout her life, and gave her loving, gentle care in her senior hospice years. I’ve also cared for my mom’s boxer for a year and even taught her, her favorite trick… tossing a treat up with her nose and catching it! I’ve looked after my friends’ pets as well, including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, senior dogs, birds (parrot), a chameleon, and special mentioned of a disabled Frenchie who needed a little extra help to go potty. I make friends with any neighborhood kitties when they let me. Usually just takes a bit of chicken or turkey. Lol I work from home and also work a couple part time jobs so I am home often. When I do leave, it its only for about 4 hours or so. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. About: I’ve been caring for cats for years and have experience with cats of all ages, personalities, and needs, from confident cuddle bugs to shy cats who need extra patience to warm up. I’ve fostered sick kittens through SEMO Pets humane society in my college town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri (south of St. Louis). which is a rural town where feral cats are having kittens left and right. I have taken in many kittens and helped nurse them back to health, including providing medications, eye care, feeding, cleaning, and lots of hands-on attention. I’m comfortable administering medications according to instructions and keeping up with feeding, water, litter boxes, and individual routines. I also have experience caring for multiple cats at once, so I understand how important clean litter boxes, enrichment, playtime, and observing each cat’s behavior can be. About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

She was also raised around my grandma’s Yorkies, so she’s very comfortable around smaller dogs. Your pet will always be treated like the VIP! About: I offer housesitting with many years of experience with petting and as a Property/Estate manager in Montecito and Santa Barbara now San Diego. I only watch one family of pets at a time. Your pet will be treated as family. We go on hikes, beach days, walks, play outside in the yard and go to parks if these outings are appropriate for your pet.
