We love your pets!
We are a husband and wife team taking care of your pets. Together we have 3 boys who are homeschooled. Nora works from home and handles the homeschooling so she will be the primary caretaker with your animals. Dave works outside of the home but is happy to have a home filled with all sorts of animals. With having our boys has come snakes, frogs, lizards, cats, dogs, birds etc. We love animals. We will take care of your animals like they are our own. We’ve got a bird, a cat and a husky all friendly and ready to play. Our yard is not fenced, but my home is secure, and we are more than happy to play outside with leashes if you dog needs it, and take quite a few walks. Our yard is very big. We don’t let our husky roam free, so we are very vigilant about your dogs safety.

If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your pet like they’re part of the family, I cannot recommend Nora enough! She cared for our dog, Shadow, for two weeks while we were in the middle of our cross-country move and unable to have him with us. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. She sent us frequent photos and videos, kept us updated on how he was doing, and it was obvious how genuinely much she and her family loved him. Her kids welcomed Shadow into their family, played with him, and made him feel completely at home. Knowing he was so loved gave us incredible peace of mind during such a stressful season. Nora even helped prepare Shadow for his cross-country flight and took him to the vet for his required pre-flight health check—something she absolutely didn’t have to do. Her kindness, warmth, and willingness to help in every way meant the world to us. If you’re considering Nora as a pet sitter, don’t hesitate. She is trustworthy, compassionate, dependable, and truly treats your pet as her own. We are beyond grateful for the exceptional care she gave Shadow and would recommend her without hesitation!

What a wonderful sitter! Our dog had the best time with Nora! She picked him up and brought him to her home to let him have doggy day care while we were gone all day and our dog had the best time and was in the best hands. Would totally recommend!!

Nora and David took such great care of our cat, Fin. Nora communicated with us each night and sent us daily pictures of Fin. It gave me and my husband such peace of mind on our vacation. We would love to use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

Schedule
BOARDING - this is our preferred way to watch your dogs. We try our best to make them as comfortable as possible and make them a part of our family. They are welcome to sit on our couch or chairs, we spend lots of time outside, and we love to give them extra love. We know they mean so much to you so we do our best to follow their routine and treat like our own! Please bring their food, and their bed / crate. I have toys and extra bowls. You will be sent at least one photo / update per day and one of us will be available to answer your questions as needed. HOUSESITTING - I am a mom of 3 and I do homeschool my kids so I typically have this feature turned off. But on the occasion I will house sit for specific clients. I will be available to your home / pets between 8pm-6am, with minimum of 2 hour + drop ins per day. They won’t just be left alone that I will promise. If constant care is what you think your pet may need, I am willing to meet with you and discuss all of that, but there will be an additional fee for constant care :) DROP INS- I’ve love drop in visits as well. Typically Nora will handle this service, but you will be informed at the time of booking who will be handling the drop ins, and unless and emergency or given permission first, that primary person will not change for the entirety of your booked drop ins. During that time I will feed, water, let your pets go potty and clean up any liter boxes, potty pads etc. I will also play with them. Unless otherwise stated I will spend the entire 30 or 60 mins there.

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is unfenced, however, we will do our very best to keep your dog safe as possible by walking them on a leash or being outside with them when they are outside if they can be off leash. Inside our home, they have access to most areas. If we have to leave my home for any reason, they will be crated or separated from other dogs to make sure they all stay safe! If I come to your home, I will leave your home in as good as or better condition than I found it. I always double check that doors are locked and will alert you if there is an issue right away. I will also make sure to clean up any accidents or messes that your pet may have made.

A typical day
My boys and I love animals and seeing their personalities. We have lots of toys for them to play with and for us to play with them. My kids love to ride bikes so we would walk our street, or go to a nearby park to walk and adventure with your dog!
