About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. And opening up our home to do that for others is an honor. I’ve attached some photos of Target, our 1st family dog. Looking at these older photos is such a trip! Blast from the past if you will. My Dad is now retired from the USMC and has a service dog jack, who is pictured above. He loves to play with other dogs and is very friendly. Hope you meet you and your pet soon! About: Not a professional trainer but i know how to potty train and teach basic tricks. High energy dogs are so much fun! Our family enjoys most mornings and afternoons playing in our backyard with our dog friends. Dogs I watch are never left alone for more than 2 hours a day. Sometimes I need to run some errands and in summer we go to pool for an hour here and there. Otherwise homebodies! Large fenced yard but disclaimer, there is a trampoline and kids have little Jeeps they ride around so dogs that don’t like noisy active kids wouldn’t enjoy their time with us.

About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

You can tell they’ve done this a lot and genuinely love dogs. They asked all the right questions and really put our minds at ease. I also appreciated that they limit the number of dogs they take at once. Leo had the best time swimming and playing with their dogs, which we loved getting pictures of while we were gone. We’ve already used them again, and plan to continue!”
