“I spent a lot of time searching on the website to find someone I could truly trust with my puppies. I know most people on the platform are great, but as a first-time dog owner with two puppies, I was honestly very nervous. Because of that, I usually didn’t travel and only left them for short periods while friends stayed at my home. This time, after a lot of searching, I found Chong. Before confirming the booking, I asked if I could visit her home first, and she kindly agreed. When we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, took my puppies herself, and brought them inside. The professional and confident way she handled everything immediately made me feel comfortable and trust her. During their stay, she sent me photos every day, which made me feel so reassured. On the last day, she even gave them a bath. We were actually planning to bathe them ourselves, so that was such a wonderful surprise. We were supposed to pick them up about an hour earlier, but our flight was delayed, our luggage took a long time, and several highways were closed. Everything caused us to arrive late, but she was still very kind and stayed up to wait for us so we could pick them up.”

About: I recently took a break from dog sitting to focus on caring for my baby. Now that things have settled into a routine, I'm excited to start accepting bookings again! I have 6+ years dog-sitting experience with dogs of many different sizes and temperaments. Personally I have a 85 pound German Shepherd mix, Turbo, a 40 pound labradoodle, Maple, and an 80 pound Rottie/GSD mix named Tater. I have a large (2.3 acre), fully-fenced backyard for optimal play! I have three friendly dogs who would love to show your dog all the best sniff spots. We also love going on walks, playing fetch, taking naps, and playing "find it." I've taken a dog CPR class to better understand the warning signs of a dog in distress, and what actions to take in an emergency. Growing up we had two black labs (big big dogs) and I would do everything with them and just took a lot of pride In making sure they were always taken care of emotionally and physically. Since getting older I have loved taking on rolls of helping family friends with watching or walking their dogs and giving them the same treatment I would give to my own. I currently just moved to the Temecula area so at the moment I do not have a job so I am totally free and open to take on the roll of caring for multiple dogs ! I love animals and I will take good care of your babies while you're gone. I send pictures and updates so you can be at ease knowing they're in good hands. I'm also experienced and prepared to take care of birds, reptiles, and am comfortable taking care of more unusual pets if needed. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available for any dates and I m works in the morning on weekends. I’m more than happy to walk, check in on your pup or play with him/her when needed. I am very excited to meet to my new furry friend! You can count on me! My passion is taking care of fur babies, this includes giving them endless attention, love, and making sure all of their needs are met. My roommate and I both have dogs, that get along beyond well with other pups. We work as a team, if one of us has leave to run an errand the other will stay back, to ensure your pup receives constant supervision.

About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

One of our pups ruptured her CCL a week before our trip, and this was one of those trips that wasn't going to be cancelled or moved. Amanda was able to easily accommodate the updated meds and keep us updated on how Emma seemed to be doing with her injury. Her background as a vet tech helped put our minds at ease and Emma and Otto were in some of the most capable hands during our trip.
