About: I have lived with and cared for dogs most of my life, all of different breeds, but I am now a sole dog parent to two amazing, working breed (retired) senior dogs. I have learned so much over the years about responsible and safe care for dogs across the spectrum of ages, breeds and size. I am a business owner and a full-time pet parent, I generally have most availability throughout the week and work on the weekends. My fur children take their regular walks in the early evening, so I'm generally most available during the day and during the weekdays. I care for pets based on the preferences expressed by the client. All foundational care with a pet will always be with care, safety and treats.
“This was Rachel’s first week dropping in and taking care of my 3 1/2 month old puppy and she takes great care of her and my puppy always looks very happy and calm during her visits. Rachel is also very knowledgeable about dogs which allows her to better understand their needs without any prompting”

“I used Debbie again to come by and check on my cat for several days while I was out of town and she was just as great as the first time! She is friendly, professional, prompt, and always provided me with great updates. I would definitely recommend using her!”

About: I have always had a passion for dogs since I was a young girl!! I have pet sit for neighbors, family and friends, and also worked for a doggy day care as a playroom attendant for a year! Your pup will mean everything and I mean EVERYTHING to me!! I am currently working part time at the doggy day care, so I have plenty of time to pop in and check on your pup! During the school year I am full time on weekdays, but still have plenty of time to put your pup first! I am not able to keep pups at my home, but at a clients home during pop ins I am able to take the pup out (on leash for a walk or free range in a backyard if able!), snuggle your pup for as long as needed, and of course feed!! Caring for your pup will always be my top priority :)
“Absolutely the very best sitters ever!!! Boujee loves them and I always feel safe knowing Caleb and Sara are taking good care of him and my home! I no longer feel anxious when I leave Boujee home alone. Thank you both! 🙌🏼👏🏼🙏🏻”

“Keoe was absolutely fantastic and we will definitely request her again the next time we need a sitter! Our chiweenie is very anxious but she seemed very comfortable with Keoe. We received a bunch of happy pictures from the visit and a summary of what happened which was awesome. I would absolutely recommend Keoe.”

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors pets & have grown up with pets my whole life. I’ve had a few puppies on my own and raised them since they were little. I love them so much and am excited to meet and care for your babies ♥️ I work from home so in the evening I take leia my dog for a walk but try to take her in the morning when I have time for that as well. Fed everyday on a schedule and our routine is to end the night with a treat for her doing great. Fenced yard and access to inside easily to stay cool. I try my best to always be mindful of my pets needs and set them up for success when we’re gone for more than a few hours.
“Brenda took such wonderful care of my three cats while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and went above and beyond by sending me daily updates and adorable photos so I always felt at ease. My cats were clearly comfortable with her, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I'll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of and have had dogs for as long as I can remember. I used to help my grandma breed miniature schnauzers and have loved taking care of dogs ever since. I’m currently working full-time at a hospital as a nursing assistant. I would love to make a little bit of extra money doing the other thing I love most which is caring for dogs I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away from their owner. I’ll keep a close eye on them, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure their needs and routines are followed. I’ll also keep you updated so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for my own dogs has taught me just how much trust goes into leaving your pet in someone else’s hands. I currently have my sweet girl Trixie, and I previously had my first dog, Fuffy, for 15 wonderful years, which gave me firsthand experience caring for a dog through every stage of life, including the senior years. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pup needs a good walk, some extra playtime, lots of belly rubs, or simply a friendly companion while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I give my own. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and take the time to help your pup feel safe and comfortable with me. 🐾❤️ I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-in visits, and plenty of playtime and attention. Having my own dog also means walks, outdoor time, and caring for a pup are already a natural part of my everyday routine. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual schedule whenever possible so they can stay comfortable and keep the routine they’re used to. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll carefully follow your instructions, routines, feeding schedules, and any house rules you provide. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their personality, boundaries, and what makes them feel most comfortable. During walks, I’ll stay attentive to our surroundings, keep your pup securely leashed, and avoid situations that could make them uncomfortable or unsafe. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they have fresh water, food when needed, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would want someone to show mine. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who will treat them like one of her own. 🐾❤️
“Bobby was fantastic! He completed a drop-in visit for our dog and went above and beyond our expectations. Even though we only booked a 30 minute visit, he spent extra time playing with her to make sure she got plenty of attention and exercise. He also made sure she was fed and that her water bowl was full before leaving. It gave us great peace of mind knowing she was so well cared for while we were away. Bobby was reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. We will absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: I spend lots of time with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I also take pride being a dog trainer apprentice in the making. I currently work full-time time at a dog ranch and would love to spend my days off with your pups! More tail-waggin fun for pups! I follow client instructions and care for their pups. From feeding, medication if needed, walking, playing, grooming, baths if needed, and spending quality time too.
About: Animals have been part of my life since the day I was born. Over the years I’ve cared for 12 dogs, 12 cats, birds, fish, and a bearded dragon through every stage of life, from newborn litters to senior pets. I’ve assisted with caring for pregnant dogs and cats, newborn puppies and kittens, senior pets, and animals recovering from illness or injury. I’ve given oral medications when needed, monitored pets closely, and provided patient, around the clock care while following veterinary guidance. One of my beloved companions lived to 22 years old, and another to 15, so I understand the extra patience and gentle attention senior pets deserve. While I’m not a veterinarian or professional trainer, I’m observant, calm, dependable, and committed to keeping your pet’s routine consistent. I know the importance of recognizing when something isn’t right and seeking veterinary care promptly. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own pets are part of my daily routine, so feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy are second nature to me. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care and keep their routines as consistent as possible. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn what helps each one feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal and pleasant as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (when agreed upon), and any special routines that help them feel comfortable. I’ll make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Daphne did an incredible job! She was on time, very communicative and I knew that my dog was in great hands! She followed my instructions carefully and I will definitely use her again! I highly recommend her.”

About: I LOVE animals, especially dogs and cats. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. My mom told me from a young age that I was made to be a veterinarian. I started pet sitting out of high school. Doing pet sitting at the owners home with overnight care. Now that I have a family of my own and 4 pets, I am offering drop ins to either feed, potty breaks or or weekly walks. I know our pets become family members but sometimes life can get busy. I am here to help make sure your fur baby still gets love while you are busy for the day. I can't wait to meet all these precious animals. Pet care fits well into my schedule! I’m available for walks and drop-in visits after 5 PM on weekdays, with more open and flexible availability on weekends. I’m happy to help with evening walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and giving your pets plenty of attention and exercise. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always follow the owner’s routine and instructions closely. I make sure pets have fresh water, meals on schedule, plenty of exercise and attention, and a safe, comfortable environment. I’m comfortable with both large and high-energy dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and needs.

Amber was great! I reached out to Amber very last minute, thankfully she was available. We needed her to go in and fix the feeder our cats had tipped over. She did just that and even cleaned up a trail of ants that were starting to form. We will definitely contact her again if we go out of town. Thank you Amber!
Aurora was wonderful! She was very attentive and sent me updates and pictures every single time she checked on my dogs, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. She went above and beyond by cleaning up after them outside and even took the time to wipe one of my dog’s eyes because they tend to get mucus buildup. I really appreciated how caring and thorough she was with them. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure they were comfortable and well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Aurora and would happily book with her again!
Keoe is amazing. She has cared for our cat Jack many times. She has always been communicative and accommodating , and she’s always been able to connect with him. Which is the highest compliment I can pay her. She is great with us. But she is better with connecting and understanding Jack. He’s an older cat who came from a complicated set of homes. 5 out of 5. She gets pets and is totally accommodating. She’s amazing.

Even though we only booked a 30 minute visit, he spent extra time playing with her to make sure she got plenty of attention and exercise. Bobby was reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. We will absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

We have used Jade services many time. My pups love her, and I always feel like they are in good hands when she watches them. She has done drop in visits for us, and has done house/pet sitting for us when we are on vacation. My house is always left spotless and the dogs are always happy when we get back. I highly recommend Jade.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
