ââââââ 5 Stars! We have only left our girl, Stella, with someone outside of our family a handful of times in her 12 years, so finding someone we could truly trust was incredibly important. Laura was absolutely amazing! She kept us updated throughout Stella's stay, which gave us so much peace of mind, and it was clear that Stella was well cared for and loved. Laura went above and beyond, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are so grateful for the exceptional care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable to watch their pet. Thank you, Laura!â

About: I spend lots of time with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I also take pride being a dog trainer apprentice in the making. I currently work full-time time at a dog ranch and would love to spend my days off with your pups! More tail-waggin fun for pups! I follow client instructions and care for their pups. From feeding, medication if needed, walking, playing, grooming, baths if needed, and spending quality time too.
âMarissa did an amazing job! We adopted a puppy w/ severe trauma background who is afraid of everyone, whoâd never been left alone w/ anyone before. Heâs never let anyone near him before. Marisaâs patience and skill w dogs with a traumatic past enabled her to break through his fears and by the end of the day my sweet dog was cuddling with her! It was truly amazing. I highly recommend Marissa.â

âFirst time leaving our two pups with Caleb and Sara, they kept us updated all the time, either even when I was anxious about my anxiety, anxiety dog. But even she warmed up in the end. Got lots of pictures which put my mind at is. They not only cared for my pups, but they left my home clean and tidy. Definitely booking with them again.â

âSkylar is the sweetest most caring sitter! Jasper immediately wanted to snuggle up next to her. She sends frequent updates and adorable pics. Very thoughtful and kind individual who you can trust with your fur babies in your home!â

About: Iâm a huge animal lover. Currently a cat mom but have been a dog mom for many years. Iâm extremely patient and lovable with pets so Iâm definitely someone you can count on. Ideally I would like to do this full time. I only care for my cat and home so I currently am very open when it comes to availability. I have an indoor cat. She is spayed and fed a can of wet food every morning. I feed her dry food and check on her water too. Litter box gets cleaned every night and play time at least 15min a day along with cuddles and lots of attention throughout the day. I hope this gives you an idea of how I will care for your pets.
About: Ever since I can remember our dogs and cats have always been apart of my family. From growing up, to having a family of my own, and my now adult children. I have been caring for my daughters 3 dogs and 2 cats for the last 7 years as she and her husband travel for work. Now that they are settled down and home more, I am missing a part of my life that I loved with starting pet sitting as a "job" that will be more of a passion. I am retired, so I am available for daily check ins to all day and overnight stays to keep your furbaby company while you are away. Keeping your furbaby at home is the best option to help reduce stress while you are gone and my favorite way to keep them company and maintain their normal routine in a familiar environment.
About: I have lived with and cared for dogs most of my life, all of different breeds, but I am now a sole dog parent to two amazing, working breed (retired) senior dogs. I have learned so much over the years about responsible and safe care for dogs across the spectrum of ages, breeds and size. I am a business owner and a full-time pet parent, I generally have most availability throughout the week and work on the weekends. My fur children take their regular walks in the early evening, so I'm generally most available during the day and during the weekdays. I care for pets based on the preferences expressed by the client. All foundational care with a pet will always be with care, safety and treats.
âFirst time using Rover and couldn't be happier with Bri. Updates every day, follows house sitting directions, walks/play time, the whole thing. I plan on booking Bri again in the future!â

âAbsolutely wonderful, took such great care of Lila and she followed up with texts and pics that always help ease the slight anxiety that we "furry family members" have as we travel..well no need, Savannah is amazing..House looked great when I returned and she even remembered to water the plants that I completely forgot about!! Thank you again Savannah and Sarah too!! I have found my permanent house/pet sitter!!â

About: Animals have been part of my life since the day I was born. Over the years Iâve cared for 12 dogs, 12 cats, birds, fish, and a bearded dragon through every stage of life, from newborn litters to senior pets. Iâve assisted with caring for pregnant dogs and cats, newborn puppies and kittens, senior pets, and animals recovering from illness or injury. Iâve given oral medications when needed, monitored pets closely, and provided patient, around the clock care while following veterinary guidance. One of my beloved companions lived to 22 years old, and another to 15, so I understand the extra patience and gentle attention senior pets deserve. While Iâm not a veterinarian or professional trainer, Iâm observant, calm, dependable, and committed to keeping your petâs routine consistent. I know the importance of recognizing when something isnât right and seeking veterinary care promptly. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while youâre away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own pets are part of my daily routine, so feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy are second nature to me. With a flexible schedule, Iâm able to plan my day around the pets in my care and keep their routines as consistent as possible. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn what helps each one feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal and pleasant as possible. Whether Iâm caring for your pet in my home or yours, Iâll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (when agreed upon), and any special routines that help them feel comfortable. Iâll make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I love dogs. I live an active lifestyle and love going for runs in the Hollywood hills up away from cars, however when it comes to my clients pups, I always follow instructions for what they prefer. I have experience with all sorts of pups and would love to have your pup in the pack. While we are at my place, I go outside every hour / two for pee breaks. Usually in the morning I will go to the hills or the park before it gets too hot, or in the evening. I have experience watching all sorts of dogs with a variety of personalities. I love having fun and making sure that the pups have a good time too. I know how lame it is to be stuck in one place all the time so we try to move as much as possible.
âWe were looking for a more local sitter since we moved. We were very nervous to trust anyone new with our fur baby and home. We are so very happy to have Maria stay at our home with our baby girl. Our 5yr pup was very happy with Payo and so are we. I was stressed at first but quickly found that Payo is a good match for our family. Thank you so very much for taking care of Abby! đâ

She kept me informed and sent pictures while we were away. Thank you for making out trip less stressful.â

Natalia was amazing. She has a great personality and clearly loves dogs. She enjoyed our dogs and took such good care of them and our house. She sent pictures daily. We arrived home from our trip late at night and she had fresh sheets and towels for us so we were able to go right to bed after a very long day. We would definitely use her services again.

Caleb & Sara spent 3 days caring for our two English bulldogs at our house. Our dogs had a blast, we received photo updates and they were thriving. Very happy to have found our forever dog sitters for our pup while traveling. Iâm sure having Alfred over made it a vacation for them. đ

Laura was very professional and was completly comfortable with my pets right away. She kept me updated and asked/answered questions as needed. She even took the time to clean up after my dog with incontinence issues. And, lastly she added a sweet touch by putting out a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a note of appreciation. It was hard to leave my vacation, but coming home was great. I would recommend her.

Jade is a wonderful pet sitter who took amazing care of our dogs and pigeons. She asked questions to clarify our requests to ensure she was doing a great job. She also cleaned up after our dogs which was a of work. Her communication and updates were timely and informative giving us piece of mind while we were away. Our pups loved her. Highly recommend.
Marissa was great! We had 2 meet and greets to ensure she was a good fit. She was very accommodating to our schedules and it gave us the confidence to leave our Great Pyrenees with someone who would give him good care. She updated us daily with texts and pictures. Took also him on several walks a day. We will definitely call on her again for our future vacations.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitterâs presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wildomar walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your homeâs security or appliances.
Itâs helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wildomar maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate theyâll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your petâs profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wildomar choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
