“Marissa house sat and dogs sat for us for 3 nights. We really appreciated her ability to adapt. We have a GP who is a rescue. He has become a very sweet and loving dog with us, but we know he can be very territorial, protective and stubborn. He wasn’t easy for her to deal with, but she persevered. When we returned our house was in great shape and she took good care of our boy. We are so glad that we met Marissa. She is willing to come back and deal with our GP and we appreciate that. About: I've had many pets throughout my life, and am well-known amongst my friends for being a dog enthusiast. I have several years of experience with pet-sitting (dogs, cats, and guinea pigs too!) for neighbors and friends. I have administered oral and topical medications for sick and injured pets, and have run around with puppies until they dropped. I have a deep love for animals and would love to look after your furry friend for you! I work from 8am - 11am every weekday except Wednesday (so overnights into Wednesday work!), and from 12:00pm - 4pm Monday through Friday. I can check on and let your pet out for a potty break in between, or I can come by after my afternoon shift for a longer time and get some walking or playtime in. On Fridays I only work in the morning, so I would be available after 11am. *** Note: I will be out of the country from August 31st until September 14th and will be unable to provide services during this time. I have two dogs at home with big personalities so I provide services in client homes only. I am comfortable following your guidelines at home regarding crate usage, walks, mealtime routines, or any other services you may need.

About: Animals have been part of my life since the day I was born. Over the years I’ve cared for 12 dogs, 12 cats, birds, fish, and a bearded dragon through every stage of life, from newborn litters to senior pets. I know the importance of recognizing when something isn’t right and seeking veterinary care promptly. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own pets are part of my daily routine, so feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy are second nature to me. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care and keep their routines as consistent as possible. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn what helps each one feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal and pleasant as possible. About: I volunteered for approximately one year at Animal Friends of the Valley Animal Shelter, where I cleaned and maintained dog kennels, washed dishes and food bowls, and collaborated with other volunteers and staff. I am fully available on weekends, and can also accommodate weekdays depending on the specific day and times required. Please DM me with a preferred time, and I will confirm whether I am able to accommodate it. I will ensure the pets are well-fed and receive plenty of outdoor time. If crating is required, I am happy to accommodate that, while always doing my best to keep them comfortable and at ease.

I’m very gentle and patient when it comes to animals, i really adore them. i’m available at anytime; mornings, afternoons or night. Any day Monday through Sunday. Except holidays I would not be available for anytime or day. Whatever works with you works with me unless there’s any type of emergency. My own pets are always leashed up when they go on walks or out to do their business, always gated in if not on a leash. Always watched even when they eat in case of any emergencies. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets ever since I was 12. I’ve also had experience with puppies and elderly dogs. Family and friends always rely on me to take care of their dogs while on vacation and I’d say I do a pretty good job!
