“I’m so grateful Casey was available for a last minute booking when our sitter had an emergency. She took great care of our dogs and sent photos and updates on how they were doing. She paid attention to our instructions and left our home in perfect shape. We would definitely book Casey again.”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for sitting with our Blaze so we could go out with family for a few hours. Arica is great, she came over the day before to met our dog, for a shy dog he went right up to her tail wagging. She put me at ease too sending pictures and updates. We will use her again and again.”

“Samantha helped me out at the last minute for two events I had on the weekend. She responded right away and came to meet my puppy before the dates I needed her to doggie sit. My puppy loved her right away! She was on time and took very good care of my pup! I would definitely hire her again!”

“Air was so great!! Bubba can be aggressive, depending on how you approach him, and he immediately ran up to her and gave her a kiss 🥹 He won’t do a lot of things while I’m gone, but she got him to go outside, potty, fetch, and eat cheese - things he wouldn’t even do for my family off the bat. I appreciated the updates throughout the day, as well as the pictures. This was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad that I chose Air to watch Bubba while I was visiting for a wedding 🩷 I would ABSOLUTELY rebook if I lived there!!”

“Jasmin took great care of my needy fur babies (senior citizens really). It takes real love to meet the needs of my pack. One is blind and epileptic and the other is deaf and has sever stomachs problems. Jasmin cared for them with love and grace. We really appreciate her.”
“Cindy did a great job watching our dog, Ellie, while house sitting. She is communicative, punctual, reliable, and friendly. This was the first time we invited a house sitter to watch Ellie and Ellie was very happy with Cindy taking care of her. We’d definitely recommend Cindy for house sitting and taking care of your pets.”

“Jose did a great job taking care of our 2 pups. They really enjoyed hus company. He sent pictures and gave us updates every day. When we got home the house was just as neat and clean as we left it. I would definitely use Jose again.”

About: My love for animals started long before I began pet sitting. I grew up in a home filled with all kinds of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rabbits and aquatic creatures so caring for pets is second nature to me. Over time, I’ve specialized in caring for both cats and dogs, and I’m comfortable with everything from high energy walks to gentle senior care. Whether your pup needs a long stroll, or your cat needs a quiet feeding routine, I’m up for all tasks. I treasure each and every pet, and I am more than happy to be adaptive and attentive to their unique quirks and needs. Up until August 7th, I have fully open availability so I'm ready to accommodate last minute bookings, daily walks, or extended stays whenever you need me. After August 7th, I'll be available for any drop ins, walks, and feedings starting at 4:00 PM on weekdays. Weekends will be full availability along with overnight stays on Friday and Saturday nights. I always keep my calendar updated and organized, so feel free to reach out and I'll let you know right away if your dates work. I'm committed to being reliable and punctual, so you can count on me to show up when you and your pets need me. At the current moment, my home is not available for any services. As for any client's home, my goal is to give you complete peace of mind so you can relax while knowing your pets and your home is in capable and careful hands. Some ways I ensure safety and trust are but not limited to: - Meet and greet first: If wished for, I am more than happy to schedule a quick visit beforehand to go over routines, restrictions, and any special needs your pet or home may have. - Detail oriented: I keep a checklist for every home whether it's entry codes, alarm systems, pet quirks, or emergency contacts, etc. - Respect your space: I clean up after myself and your pet, and I will always put in the effort to leave your home looking exactly as I found it.

“Angellee is an angel in disguise. She has been providing dog sitting services and loving care for our dogs for about 3 years now. Our dogs love her! She follows all directions, respects our home and we feel like we are family. We appreciate her flexibility and always look forward to her visits. Thank you, Angellee!”

“Bradley did a fantastic job watching our dogs and home as we were away. Appreciated the great communication and photos of the dogs. Wouldn’t hesitate to ask again in the future. Thanks, Bradley!”

“Angel is Amazing!! Arrived early, very responsive, very loving and caring with my dogs and cats! We are so lucky to have found her on Rover! We will definitely rebook with her. Super impressed with her knowledge of dog behaviors and really appreciate her flexibility. Highly recommend!! Thanks again!!!!”

“Elle was terrific! We needed care for our 2 dogs while we were gone to wedding. She came over and met us and the dogs ahead of time. The dogs loved her right off. She has a caring personality and they loved that... One of our dogs is a senior diabetic that needs shots. Elly was more than willing to handle that as well as the pills they needed. She sent lots of pictures and notes about how it was going. Everything went well and we plan to request her in the near future. So glad to have someone that we trust with their care.”

“Amanda did a great job taking care of my 7 month old bernadoodle. She also took care of my home and garden. I would highly recommend her services! I loved that she sent me pictures of my baby!”

About: I have had multiple dogs over the years that are great companions. They will be in great hands when it comes to me. I’m good with small and large dogs. The bigger the dog the bigger the lover they are. Dogs help me and I would like to say the same about me helping them. I work fully remote and can tend do dogs needs whenever. My schedule currently full time remote work. I can fully provide enough love and comfort through the day for our fur babies. All the love, play time, and walks they need I can do. I provide a loving home where the doggos can cuddle and play with me in my house but as well as the fenced in park that is near my house. For at home care I will abide to house rules whether it’s playing inside or outside, treats, and laying on furniture!

About: I have a fur baby of my own named Luci & sometimes traveling can feel like more of a burden rather than a vacation. I tend to stress out about finding a place where Luci & I are both comfortable while I’m away trying to relax. I’m here to put your anxiety at ease! I can guarantee you that your fur baby will be safe with me! Pictures & updates will always be sent. If they get dirty, showers will be given (with your permission of course!) Treats, love, playtime and so much more high-quality care! I’m a sitter that will treat your fur baby like my own. Luci will also keep them entertained, she loves being friendly! She also knows to keep a friendly distance if your pup prefers their own space! We have a beautiful home, with a relatively big back yard! I can guarantee your pup will enjoy their time with us! I currently have all the time in the world! I have open availability and am extremely flexible. I will care for your pet without any distractions. When I am caring for pets in a clients home, I treat it with respect. If one is trusting me to go in their home, the least I can do is respect. Trust is a must and I make sure not to break it. When I’m caring for pets in my own home I treat the client and their fur baby with respect and trust as well. This is more than just a business. My goal is to gain the trust of my clients to ensure that they leave their pups with a stress free mentality.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodcrest walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodcrest maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodcrest choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodcrest. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
