“We had a last-minute, urgent request, and Bradley is our angel. Bingo and bluey love him and welcome him into their property. You can count on him. We are all deaf and he is willing to work with us.”

“We loved Destiny! Specially my dog, Hope and she even made sure to give my cats some love, even though they were not part of the plan! Thanks so much for always keeping me informed and for being so nice to my baby girl! I would 100!! Recommend Destiny! Having her watch my baby has been a piece of mind.”

About: My love for animals started long before I began pet sitting. I grew up in a home filled with all kinds of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rabbits and aquatic creatures so caring for pets is second nature to me. Over time, I’ve specialized in caring for both cats and dogs, and I’m comfortable with everything from high energy walks to gentle senior care. Whether your pup needs a long stroll, or your cat needs a quiet feeding routine, I’m up for all tasks. I treasure each and every pet, and I am more than happy to be adaptive and attentive to their unique quirks and needs. Up until August 7th, I have fully open availability so I'm ready to accommodate last minute bookings, daily walks, or extended stays whenever you need me. After August 7th, I'll be available for any drop ins, walks, and feedings starting at 4:00 PM on weekdays. Weekends will be full availability along with overnight stays on Friday and Saturday nights. I always keep my calendar updated and organized, so feel free to reach out and I'll let you know right away if your dates work. I'm committed to being reliable and punctual, so you can count on me to show up when you and your pets need me. At the current moment, my home is not available for any services. As for any client's home, my goal is to give you complete peace of mind so you can relax while knowing your pets and your home is in capable and careful hands. Some ways I ensure safety and trust are but not limited to: - Meet and greet first: If wished for, I am more than happy to schedule a quick visit beforehand to go over routines, restrictions, and any special needs your pet or home may have. - Detail oriented: I keep a checklist for every home whether it's entry codes, alarm systems, pet quirks, or emergency contacts, etc. - Respect your space: I clean up after myself and your pet, and I will always put in the effort to leave your home looking exactly as I found it.
“Samantha took excellent care of my two cats and two birds. They were happy and comfortable during our time away. She followed all instructions and ensured each pet was doing well. She’s very tidy, too. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Casey did a great job! Cesar is an older dog and she kept a good eye on him, letting me know when he seemed off one day. She always sent me pics and reports of what he was up to, how he was eating, etc. I was thankful to have such a caring, experienced sitter! And she made awesome organic dog treats!! Would def use her again!”

“Hannah was so great with our cream retriever, Maggie. She kept us up to date with comments and pictures. Hannah took the initiative to play extra games with her. Thanks Hannah!”

About: I’m always the dog sitter for my family whenever they need me and my closest friends. Dogs tend to always trust me, I get along with all animals because I respect their space! I have an older dog who loves to cuddle but when he wants his space I give it to him and I can tell all the signs saying he needs space! I don’t have professional experience but I’ve been dog sitting for my loved ones for a couple of years now. I am currently unemployed and will start school in the fall so I have a very open schedule looking for as much work as I can. I always like to bond with the dogs I dog sit and get them to trust me. I always do what the owner, asks of me!
“Alexa continues to be an excellent and reliable pet sitter. She always arrives on time and takes great care of the critters and tidies up after everyone. Our bird can be quite a mess sometimes! We always appreciate her updates and flexibility, especially if we need to order some last-minute supplies for the critters during our trip. We cannot recommend Alexa highly enough!”

“Eli was great! I needed someone to come by daily to feed my fur babies while I was on vacation & her response time was quick. She was right on time each day to feed my dogs & cat, she spent extra time with them giving them some love & she even picked up after them! Eli was very sweet, caring & professional & I would highly recommend her.”

“Arica was very well at communicating with us. She was very nice the entire time and my dog Molly loved her right away. The pictures and video I received from her and the updates were perfect. Thank You Arica!”

“Thank you Megan! Bolt loves seeing you and we are so thankful for you! Even on such short notice, you’re always so quick to respond and we have such peace of mind! You’re the best!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life, mostly dogs and cats, and I’ve always loved taking care of them. Growing up, I helped with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ve also done pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the years, caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I know how important it is to keep pets comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I’ll treat your pet like family and make sure they’re well cared for every step of the way. I’m currently on summer break from college so I have plenty of free time on my hands to take care of your furry loved ones! I have 2 cats of my own and understand when you want the best care and attention given to your pets. I know that every pet has their different needs and wants and I’ll make sure to adhere to their schedules. If there are any special instructions you need me to follow I’ll gladly take note and follow to a T. 🐾

“Okay but can we talk about how I found the Mary Poppins of dog sitters?! 🐶✨ We were honestly SO nervous leaving our little doggos for the first time… like borderline “should we just cancel our trip” nervous 😂 But she completely changed everything. From the moment we met her, both we and the pups felt instantly comfortable (which says A LOT because my dogs act like tiny security guards with trust issues lol). She took SUCH amazing care of them — updates, love, attention… Meanwhile, we were off at Disneyland actually enjoying the magic, riding rides, eating snacks, and not constantly checking our phones in panic. That peace of mind? Priceless. If you’re on the fence about hiring a pet sitter — THIS is your sign. She’s reliable, caring, and basically a dog whisperer. 10/10, would trust her with my fur babies. Forever grateful 🐾💖”

“Nicole is experienced with critters, operates in a professional manner, is friendly, prompt, thorough, and gave our pets extraordinary care. The notifications of check-ins were awesome and the notes provided by Nicole were full of detail which included numerous photos. Since the pups are elderly, they needed multiple walks a day. Nicole and her fiancé, Arif, did a wonderful job of taking care of them. She even left us a card with printed photographs we will surely frame and display on the mantle. We are in the process of rebooking with Nicole. Thank you, Nicole and Arif. It’s nice to know you and look forward rebooking. I highly recommend. Five stars!”
“Jasmin was awesome! Everything we could have asked for and more. We were worried about leaving our timid cat at home for the first time (for a week), but he took to her right away and they became fast friends :) Jasmin followed all of our instructions, was immediately responsive, and went above and beyond. We will definitely be requesting her services again! Highly recommended.”

“Hunter has done a great job checking in on Rory for the last few months. She takes her out on walks and makes sure she eats her meals. She also responds to messages and sends me updates if she sees anything out of the ordinary with my dog.”

“We have had Heather watch our dogs multiple times now and have been very happy with her! She truly enjoys being around them and her availability has been great for quick trips away. I would highly recommend her to others.”
“Kate was a great per sitter. We were worried about booking last minute but she was easy to schedule a quick meet and greet. Without asking she offered to take photos and and walk overall she eased my mind leaving them alone with a stranger.”

Arica is the best!!! We were so nervous to leave our cat for the first time. Arica gave us updates, pics, and videos which helped us feel at ease. She went above and beyond! We have no hesitations traveling from now on because we know our cat will be in great hands!!! Please book her, you won’t regret it!

Alexa was wonderful with our two cats! She dropped in for 30-minute visits to feed them, clean up, and give them some attention while we were away. She was punctual, thorough, and clearly cared about making sure everything was just right. We really appreciated the photo updates and could tell our cats were comfortable and happy. It gave us great peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend Alexa for anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodcrest. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
