About: I have two cats of my own and have helped care for both family dogs and friends’ cats over the years. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, litter box cleaning, and giving lots of love and attention! Pets tend to warm up to me quickly, and I always make sure they feel safe and cared for. I also have plenty of photos of the pets I’ve cared for to show the happy moments we’ve shared. I’m a college student currently studying biochemistry with a strong love for both cats and dogs. Pet care brings me joy, and with summer here, I’m only in school part-time. This gives me the flexibility to care for your pets Thursday through Sunday. I’m dedicated, dependable, and excited to give your pets the attention and affection they deserve. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet I care for. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely and respect your space. I’m attentive to details like feeding schedules, medication, and preferred activities. About: I have been surrounded by pets all my life whether it’s family, family friend, or friend’s pets, they’ve all loved me. I am also on top with my communication and very responsive so it will be a bonus to get good updates with your furball ! I have a cat that I take care of everyday; Properly fed, played, and cuddly with. I have a lot time spent with my cat and my availability is very open as I spend a lot of time being home. I take care of pets by following directions from owners, feeding them properly, providing them good attention, and will be able to communicate all the time about pets. I love taking pictures too so you can get cute pictures of your pets!

Because of that great experience, we thought she would be a great sitter for our 5-month-old puppy, Sesame. My partner was out of town for the weekend and I was working nights that week, so we needed someone to watch Sesame, and Quetzaly was available on short notice. About: I do not have professional experience with pets but I have my own dog so I personally know the love and care that they need. I was in charge of training her and making sure she was potty trained as well as socialized I can work mostly any time from Monday -Thursday and during the day on Friday and Saturday ! I do have a job on the weekend but it is in the evening In my home I have a front and back yard with grass so the babies can run around as well there is a park a 3 minute drive away from the home to make sure they are able to play and run out their energy. Since I have my dog with me they would have a companion to be with. With my clients home I would make sure to run everything by them and their boundaries

About: I’m a PhD student with long periods of studying/working from home that allows me to use to spend this extra time caring for cats meanwhile caring for my own cat as well! I am available for drop in visits and house-sitting. I live close to my school which allows me more time at home and the nature of my job allows me the flexibility to be at home more often than a traditional 9-5. I’ll make sure to take care of basic necessities like food/water and playtime as well as any messes that spring up each day. I’ll be sure to take note of any special requests as well within reason!

About: I grew up with having dogs in my house. At one point we had two at once! I was expected to take care of them so I learned the foundations from my family. I am use to bigger dogs such as golden retrievers but I also enjoy more medium sized dogs as well. I have experience being trusted with caring for pets of my family, my friends, and strangers. I feel confident in my ability to watch dogs of any breed, and I am also confident of my ability to be a patient and caring cat caretaker. While I did not grow up with cats, I have had multiple experiences taking care and providing a loving environment for them. I am pretty go with the flow, flexible, and eager to hang out with your pets! I am a graduate student that will have classes during the evening, but I would love to fill my day with animals! I am willing to be flexible in providing care and I am looking forward to helping out! With my experience I understand that being a caring and attentive caregiver is important for pets. They are almost always unconditionally loving and I mirror that in my care. I am not afraid to ask questions on how to provide your pet the best care. I understand that every pet is unique and I want to ensure their comfort and safety. I am very communicative as well! I love to send updates and pics over text!

About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and truly consider myself a dog person. I have experience caring for all kinds of pups with different needs. In my free time, I volunteer at the San Bernardino Animal Shelter, so I’m pretty good at reading dog body language and making sure everyone stays safe. My home has a fenced backyard with grass for playtime and potty breaks. At night, your pup is welcome to sleep wherever they’re most comfortable, whether that’s a dog bed, the couch, or even my bed! My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and right at home. I am currently a full-time college student living about 10 minutes from campus. I have a hybrid schedule, so I have plenty of time to stay at home with your pup. My schedule is flexible and open to adjusting to you and your pups needs! I like to care for dogs based on their usual daily routine because it helps them feel happy, comfortable, and right at home! If your pup loves to stay active, I’m happy to take them for a run, a long walk, or let them play freely in my fenced grassy backyard. If they prefer to relax, they’re welcome to nap inside or soak up the sun outside. My main goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and totally at ease during their stay. Even though I’m a full-time student, I have plenty of time before and after class to give your fur baby the love and attention they need, and I’m never away for long!

About: At the age of 9 years old, I received a puppy that I took care of for 12 years. Growing up in a neighborhood with many neighbors with dogs allowed me to grow very comfortable taking care of them when neighbors were on vacations. Most recently, I took care of one whose family was in Taiwan for two weeks. My responsibilities include (but are not limited to) feeding/watering, walking, cleaning up after, & spending quality time with your pets. I also clean the residence as well! I enjoy creating brain stimulation games for them if I am at work/school! I have plenty of time to keep your pet(s) company while I’m not at school! PhD student with only one evening class. Lab TBD, but will update! I am happy to follow any rules you’ve set for your pet(s). Some pets prefer sleeping in a kennel while some prefer a bed. Some are fed twice a day & some have food available at all times. These are a couple examples, but if you have a routine, I will stick to it! I take this very seriously as I know your pets are part of your family.

Living in an apartment allows me to easily take them for walks outside in green areas, where they can explore and enjoy some fresh air. If needed, I can safely crate pets to provide them with a secure space to relax. My home is a welcoming environment filled with love and attention, ensuring every pet feels safe and at ease. Building trust is key, and I take the time to understand each pet's unique personality and needs, creating a positive experience for both them and their owners.

I’m new to Rover but I have taken care of dogs since I was 8. I have 6 dogs at home and volunteer at a Humane Society, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I love animals and wish to help you with walking, check-in’s, or house-sitting. I can also help you with whatever responsibilities you wish for me to take care of while you are away! I'm currently on break, so I will have plenty of time to care of your pets. I'm available on weekdays and weekends between any reasonable times, just check my availability for any updates. Your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. I will treat them like my own pet and will carefully follow any instructions left to keep your pet comfortable. About: Through volunteering at an animal shelter, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many kinds of dogs. From senior dogs to puppies! All of which I am capable of caring for. About: I’ve worked professionally in pet boarding and daycare for 2 years, including at Holiday Pet Hotel and currently at a daycare in Poway. In addition, I’ve been pet sitting since I was young, caring for dogs, cats, lizards, birds, and other small animals.
