“Nicole took excellent care of our 3 cats while we were gone for 7 days. She kept the place cleaner than she needed to, and made sure all cats got some attention during the visits. She also communicates very well, and is very accommodating with any changes. I will definitely rebook her in the future!”

“Cesar was great. This was the first time our two 5 year old German Shepherds had anyone but family care for them. Cesar was comfortable around them and they were comfortable with him. We had him drop in twice a day to play with them and feed them and got updates and pictures with each visit. We were only gone two days this time but will be rebooking with him on future longer trips.”

“Casey was on time and easy to communicate with. It was her first time caring for my dogs and things went very smoothly. I look forward to having her watch them again! Thank you for caring for our pups!”

“We absolutely adored Izzabellah K! Our fur-baby was fond of her the moment he met her, as were we. She communicated well, efficiently, and effortlessly. Followed our instructions well. Is super friendly and kind! We will definitely be using her again.”

“Avianna was wonderful with our Lab, Kobe! She met with me beforehand to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, which I really appreciated. She was polite, approachable, and clearly comfortable dog-sitting. On the day of the visit, she arrived on time, followed all my instructions, and I felt completely at ease having her do a drop-in at my home. I highly recommend her services and would definitely hire her again!”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and their presence but I also miss my dogs back home and wanted some dog love because I see dogs around all the time which makes me miss my own. Im currently a college student and an athlete. Im good on working around your schedule and mine. I can always try to make time to walk your dog. Just need to be on the same page. I’m currently away from home but I do care for my own dogs very well. I make sure they have everything they need. Just let me know what needs to be done in your dogs interest.

About: I have taken care of my neighbor’s dogs and cat a few times, providing them with food, water, walks and time outside to use the restroom. I have had pets of my own my entire life. I am working part time at a salon, currently, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I am available to give your pets all the love, care and play that they need. I have a fenced yard where my dog stays, I have a crate as well if needed. This can be used to ensure the safety of both pets
“Nicole is an incredible caregiver to our dogs. We use her services to feed and let our dogs run around in the backyard when we can’t be there. It would be very easy to sit back during this time, but Nicole takes the extra effort to interact with our dogs and give them lots of love and attention. She even offers to bring her own treats and toys for our dogs. She mailed us printed pictures of our dogs after her first visit. She also brings our packages to the back porch and messages us after we return home to check on our dogs and we get lots of great pictures of them while we’re away. Selfishly, I don’t want to leave this glowing review of Nicole because I want to keep her all to myself. 😀”

About: I’m an experienced, intuitive dog caregiver who blends calm confidence with playful, genuine affection. I’ve worked with pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m especially skilled at reading body language, easing anxiety, and building trust with shy or energetic dogs. My hospitality background shows up in the way I communicate clearly, stay organized, and anticipate both the dog’s needs and the owner’s peace of mind. Whether it’s maintaining routines, handling medication, managing multi‑dog households, or keeping high‑energy pups happily engaged, I bring steady reliability and a warm, joyful presence that dogs connect with right away. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work part‑time on weekends and I’m on summer break from school. I have plenty of open time during the week for walks, drop‑ins, and longer visits, and I balance my weekend job with consistent pet‑care hours. I provide a calm, stress‑free environment for every pet I care for. In my home, I offer a quiet space with no children, a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and a relaxed atmosphere where pets can settle in comfortably. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, keep their space tidy, and make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether I’m hosting or visiting, I focus on safety, consistency, and creating a peaceful experience for each pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Edgemont. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
